Hi,
I'm so grateful that you decided to join me today.
When you're ready,
Go ahead and find a comfortable position.
Maybe you're seated,
Maybe you're laying down,
Wherever you feel safe,
Wherever you can find peace and quiet.
Slowly begin to settle in,
Adjusting as need be,
And when you're ready,
Maybe you close your eyes,
Starting to tap into your breath.
Or if it doesn't feel alright to close your eyes,
The offer is always there to just find a gentle gaze,
Inhaling in and exhaling out,
Just noticing the rhythm of your breath,
The natural patterns of your inhales and your exhales.
Trusting ourselves can be hard,
Knowing that at the end of the day,
All you have is you and the decisions you've made.
Often times,
We listen to our head,
We listen to outside forces,
Telling us what we should do.
When you're making hard decisions,
Do you find yourself saying,
I should do this?
This should be the right answer.
This should be the path that I follow.
These shoulds aren't yours.
When you find yourself saying should,
Following your shoulds,
Maybe you tap back into your inner knowing.
You close your eyes,
You take a few deep breaths,
And you ask yourself,
What do I think the right answer is?
What do I think the right path is,
And how am I going to follow that?
How am I going to listen to that deep inner knowing,
That wisdom that resides in each and every one of you?
That feeling of rightness,
The sensation of knowing that you've got it,
That you trust yourself.
What do you feel like you should do?
And how can you deconstruct that so that you can better listen to yourself?
Because you know what you want.
You know what the right path is.
You do.
So let's start to think about that.
As we breathe in and out,
As our lungs fill,
What do we know we need to do?
What is our gut telling us?
Where is our intuition pointing?
How can you better trust yourself?
Inhaling in,
Filling up your lungs,
Saying to yourself with each breath,
I honor my inner knowing,
And I trust my path.
Inhaling in,
As you say,
I honor my inner knowing.
Exhaling out,
As you repeat and trust my path.
Taking the next few breaths to say this out loud,
Or maybe just repeating it to yourself.
Taking one final breath,
As you come back to this moment.
