Let's begin by finding a safe and comfortable position.

Whatever that might look like for you today,

Go ahead and find that.

Maybe you're seated,

Maybe you're driving,

Maybe you're walking.

Whatever you need right now,

Allow yourself to go there,

To be there,

To listen to yourself.

I want to start us off by finding some movement in our wrists.

Maybe you just start to shake them a little bit.

Shaking out any energy,

Any negativity,

Any tension.

And maybe that shake moves into your arms.

Maybe you're shaking out all of your arms,

Shaking out your body,

Your head.

Just really letting go,

Letting that energy flow through you.

Finding its way out,

Allowing yourself the space to prepare to settle in.

To let go of any leftover pent-up energy and preparing to settle in.

Once you've found some movement,

Once you've shook it all off,

Go ahead and find stillness.

Whenever that comes,

Taking it at your own pace.

Once you settle in,

Maybe you close your eyes,

Starting to feel your breath as it moves through you,

Inhaling in and exhaling out,

Emptying your lungs.

This time I'm going to have us go through what I like to call a breathy scream.

So you're going to inhale in,

Filling up your lungs to the very tippy top.

And on your exhale,

You're going to open your mouth and you're going to push out your breath like you're screaming.

Doing that a few times,

Really letting go of everything you're holding.

Inhaling in,

Opening your mouth,

Letting it all go like you're screaming.

Taking a few of these at your own pace.

All that anger you feel for the day,

All that chaos,

Letting it all come out right now in this breath.

Inhaling it as it moves up your body with the inhale and as it pushes out with your exhale.

Inhaling in all of that anger,

All of that frustration,

All of that emotion you feel and exhaling it out,

Screaming it out,

Letting it all go.

And then coming back to the natural rhythm of your breath whenever you're ready.

Inhaling in and exhaling out.

Being calm about everything allows your mind to find solutions.

Calmness is also a state of trust.

Instead of overthinking and overreacting,

You just surrender for that moment and allow yourself to receive guidance for what doesn't make sense.

Inhaling in and exhaling out.

Allowing your body,

Allowing your mind to settle down into this moment,

Remembering that you will always have your breath to settle you in,

To calm you down,

To collect you when things are getting rocky.

Taking some final breaths here,

Letting them just move through your body.

Inhaling in and exhaling out.

Noticing the shift you feel.

Noticing how the anger,

The frustration,

The chaos has settled,

How your breath is now guiding you,

Bringing you back to this moment.

Taking one final inhale and exhaling through your nose,

Letting it all go.

I really feel the calming after following your guidance. I was hesitant to aggressively exhale but with you encouraging tone I relaxed and truly found my calm. Wonderful meditation.
