I invite you to get into a space where you will not be distracted for the next eight or ten minutes.
Ideally sitting down on the ground or maybe on a chair,
Maybe on a cushion as that helps to keep your hips elevated and your spine nice and long.
And when you're ready we're going to start by closing down the eyes.
Really allowing yourself to arrive in this space and this practice.
Allowing the shoulders to melt away from the ears,
The spine to grow nice and tall.
Almost feeling like you have a string pulling the top of your head to the ceiling.
Then begin to connect to your breath.
Breathing softly and consciously into your belly and letting that air travel up your tummy to your chest and then exhaling letting it go.
Breathing to that prana,
That life force energy that lives within all of us.
Using the breath as an anchor into this present moment and ultimately into yourself.
Your breath is your companion,
Your best friend through this life.
Just know that it is always there for you.
Starting to feel the sense of calm that is washing over your body through your breath.
I invite you to begin to become aware of your heart space.
In particular your heartbeat.
Breathing deeply into your chest.
Can you feel your heart beating right now without even touching your body?
Maybe you can feel your pulse in other places.
Just becoming aware of this feeling,
Becoming aware that you are so beautifully alive right now.
I want you to know that you are so worthy of feeling the feelings and emotions of love and all of the beauty that they can bring to your life.
I want you to know that when things get hard or you get lost in some chaos that love is here to hold you.
That love will be here to heal you.
You have an infinite source of love living within you even though it may not feel like it sometimes.
I invite you to breathe into this space living within you.
Breathe into your heart,
Into your body.
I invite you to bring to your mind's eye something or someone that you really love in this life.
Just the first thing that comes to your mind.
Not forcing anything in particular.
The first thing that arrives is perfect.
Then taking that person or that thing that lives within your mind's eye and begin to connect back to your heart space.
Becoming aware of the feeling that even this thought of this personal thing brings your body.
How does this person make you feel?
Breathing deeper into your heart space.
How incredible is it that even a thought of love can evoke the emotion within your body?
Again all of this love that you see in this person or this thing already lives within you.
I think that is pretty special.
Then let that thing go.
Let it fall away from your mind's eye.
Simply just be in your beautiful body that doesn't need to change,
That works effortlessly every single day to serve you.
You don't have to think about breathing,
It just happens.
You don't have to think about digesting your food,
It just happens.
One foot in front of the other on this earth.
You are so amazing and magnificent.
So much magic lives within even you just being here right now listening to this meditation.
So before we finish our meditation I invite you to bring gratitude for yourself,
For taking time to slow down,
To cultivate the feeling and the energy of love that I truly believe can heal you and the whole world.
I urge you to come back to love,
To return back to love when things get dark,
When things get messy and they will but just know that the power of love can bring you home.
You can heal within love.
We're going to end our practice with three rounds of mantras.
So in your own time,
In your own breath repeat to yourself or out loud,
I am an infinite source of love.
I am an infinite source of love.
I do all things in this life from a place of love.
I do all things in this life from a place of love.
I do all things in this life from a place of love.
And finally,
I love myself completely and unconditionally.
I love myself completely and unconditionally.
I love myself completely and unconditionally.
And then slowly beginning to reawaken to your space,
Bringing gentle breaths back to the body,
Maybe not even opening the eyes yet but just becoming aware of how you're feeling right now.
Bathing in your own love,
In your own peace that is always going to be there for you.
And then when you're ready,
Slowly begin to open your eyes or don't,
Whatever feels good for you.
I hope you received all of the love that you so completely deserve through this meditation and just know that it's here for you whenever you need it.
