Good morning and welcome to your morning meditation.
This meditation is to reawaken and revitalize your mind and your body and get you ready for a beautiful day ahead.
So beginning by grinding down through your sitting bones,
Making sure that your spine is nice and long.
We're going to begin to connect to our breath,
Letting any of the tension in our belly go.
Really deepen your inhales and your exhales.
Big deep belly breaths,
Opening up our chest and our diaphragm.
With every inhale and exhale we're moving the residual energy of the sleep that we've just had.
On your inhales we're breathing in fresh new air,
New energy and exhaling out what no longer serves us.
Keeping the attention on the breath,
Can you become aware of the place where you can feel the sensation of the air entering your body the most?
Perhaps this is at your nostrils,
Maybe it lies within the rising and falling of your belly or your chest.
Wherever this place may be,
Simply bring your awareness to that place.
Not creating a story,
Simply just becoming aware.
Now I invite you to let that go and bring your awareness to any of the sounds around you right now.
What can you hear around you in the room that you're currently in?
Perhaps you can hear your own body,
Your digestion,
Your breathing.
Now bring that awareness outside of the room.
What can you hear?
Again just bringing your awareness to these noises but not creating a story to them,
Simply just observing.
And again letting that go and bringing the awareness back to the breath.
The breath is where all of our power lies within.
The breath is the key to our present moment.
Spending time in the mornings connecting to our breath and connecting to our body will set us up for a day of presence,
Calm.
It gives us an opportunity to cultivate the energy we want to walk through today.
Now letting go of that breath awareness.
I want you to begin to imagine the day that you have in front of you playing out in the best way possible.
I want you to visualize you flowing through your day with effortlessness and ease.
How do you want your day to look?
How do you want your interactions with other people to look?
And as you visualize your day,
Know that you have the power to control and to cultivate exactly how you would like it to play out.
Now I invite you to imagine yourself sitting in bed at the end of today.
Your body and your heart feels warm because you've had such an amazing day.
You've achieved everything that you've wanted to achieve and everything that you haven't.
That's okay.
Tomorrow is a brand new day and again you can create whatever reality you would like.
As you sit in your bed,
I want you to bring a smile to your lips and perhaps can you feel a warmth in your heart that begins to radiate through your whole body?
A feeling of content,
A feeling of peace.
Taking a moment now to sit in these beautiful feelings.
Now letting that visualization go and returning back to our breath and simply just being for a few more moments.
I am going to roll through a couple of positive affirmations that you can feel in your heart.
I'm going to start with a few words that I want to say to you.
I'm going to roll through a couple of positive affirmations that you can repeat either in your head or out loud.
You can take them through your day with you today or start every day with them.
Connecting to your breath.
On your inhale,
I am going to have an amazing day today.
Exhaling,
Letting those words wash over you.
Inhaling,
I have the power to manifest any day that I would like to today.
Exhaling,
Letting those words wash over you.
Inhaling,
I am going to have a productive day today full of effortlessness and calm.
Exhaling,
Letting those words wash over you.
Now beginning to slowly start to wiggle your fingers and your toes and begin to slowly reawaken back in today.
