Sit or lie down in a comfortable place and close your eyes.

Allow your body to rest and loosen.

Take a long,

Slow inhale and release.

Let go.

Take another breath into your lower belly.

Breathing in a feeling of relaxation and exhale any tension within you.

Breathe into your lower belly.

Breathing in relaxation and exhaling tension.

Allow your breath to settle into a gentle rhythm.

Whether the loss of your baby was recently or long ago,

You can allow yourself to grieve this or feel whatever you feel.

You can also allow yourself to create and maintain joyful memories of your pregnancy and baby.

Think back to a specific happy time during your pregnancy,

If you can think of one.

How did you feel?

What could you see?

Smell?

Hear?

Who was with you?

Why were you feeling happy in that moment?

Sink back into that positive feeling.

Check in with how you feel right now.

Are you feeling happy?

Positive?

Upset?

In pain?

Feel how you feel.

It is okay to feel this way.

Allow your emotions to be present,

Whatever they are.

No need to resist.

Take a deep breath into your belly and feel it slowly rise.

Release your breath and your feelings into the world.

How is your body feeling right now?

Is your face,

Jaw,

Neck or shoulders tense?

Squeeze these areas tightly just for a moment and then completely relax these muscles.

Feel the happy,

Loving vibes you feel for your baby.

Now direct this energy also towards yourself.

Does this love energy have a color?

Imagine this love wrapping itself around your body,

Seeping through your skin to each part of you.

Your organs,

Bones,

Muscles and filling up all the spaces around and in between each cell.

Until every single inch of you is filled with pure love.

Love that comes from you.

How does it feel to be completely wrapped up in your love?

Now send an extension of your love out to your baby.

How do you imagine your baby to be now?

Your baby is loved.

Feel secure that they knew your love and it lives on now.

Take another relaxing breath.

Exhale that breath along with any remaining tension.

Breathe in calm and peace.

Breathe out pain and tension.

Breathe in love and breathe love out.

Feeling calm and relaxed.

Bring your thoughts back to your body.

Is there still any tension anywhere?

Focus on your heart and chest.

As you breathe calmly and gently,

Feel your chest and back relax.

Send a wave of relaxation out from your chest through the rest of your torso,

Your abdomen,

Pelvis,

Hips,

Shoulders.

See and feel ripples of relaxation continuing to expand outward,

Down your legs and arms,

Feet,

Hands,

Fingers,

Toes,

Up your neck and head.

Face and the small parts of your face.

A ripple of overall total relaxation.

When you think back on your experience,

Remember the happiness and love reflected between you and your child.

This lives forever.

Stay here a bit longer and allow this relaxation to continue to wash over you,

Creating and maintaining a calm mind and body.
