Namaste,
Everyone,
Welcome to the meditation course with me.
Today I will share with you the techniques of Tarkhaka meditation,
Which means to focus our eyes on one subject.
How do we use our senses?
From the outside inward to achieve the purpose of the meditation.
In the era of multi-screen fragmentation,
Our attention has been difficult to concentrate for a long time.
Today's meditation practice,
Tarkhaka meditation,
Is to train our concentration through the long-term gaze of the eyes,
Concentrate the high-speed brain on one thing,
And relax our body and mind.
Meditation is not just the practice of sitting on a mat.
We can all apply it to life in different situations.
When doing Tarkhaka meditation,
We need to do a little bit preparation.
Choose an object that can be observed.
It is best not to be too bright in color,
Preferably green or blue.
Place the items in front of our line of sight.
The position of the objects is based on the comfortable position of each person's eyes.
The principle is that the objects can be seen clearly without any effort.
Adjust our sitting posture,
Relax our body and mind by adjusting our breathing,
And the most important thing is to relax our mind.
Then we shifted our gaze to the object.
When we stared,
We should not stare at the object forcefully,
But relax our eyelids.
The eyes in a relaxed state to cheer at the object and keep our breathing unobstructed.
Try to keep your eyes on blinking or reduce the number of blinks.
If we conquer many thoughts when looking at an object,
We will draw our attention back to the object we are looking at again.
For the first practice,
If you look at the object for a long time,
Your eyes are easy to get dry,
So we can slightly close our eyes and take a rest.
Then continue to open your eyes and return to our practice.
After we practice the one point gaze of fixed objects for a period of time,
If your attention can be kept on the subject for a long time,
Then we can further practice the gaze of dynamic objects.
The most commonly used is candles.
We choose the height of a candle to be at the same level as our sight.
And look at the candle flame.
We can clearly see the beating flame at the proposition where it is placed.
It should not be too far,
Not too close.
At the beginning of the practice,
We are not used to do it.
We can stare for a minute.
Try not to blink during this minute.
Close our eyes lightly to rest.
Then open the eyes again.
Extend the gaze time for another one and a half minutes.
And then close eyes rest.
Each time you can extend time,
You stare at the candle flame,
But you cannot force it too much,
So as not to burn your eyes.
Ok let's start practicing together now.
We are ready to relax in a meditative sitting pose.
Do not stare at the candle flame too hard for one minute.
And practice begins.
We will do for one minute.
We will do for one minute.
We will do for one minute.
Time's up.
Now close your eyes lightly and rest.
Adjust.
Open your eyes again and stare at the candle flame.
This time we'll do it for two minutes.
Let's start.
Time's up.
If the eyes were shed with tears in the middle,
This is the detoxification of the eyes with tears,
So don't worry too much.
In the middle process,
Your eyes are dry or blurred.
You can close your eyes lightly to adjust and then open your eyes to continue.
Now we close our eyes and rest and slowly draw in our external visual attention.
Beware of our breath.
Connect to our breath and stay in this state for three minutes.
Let's start.
Let's take a five-minute breakout tomorrow.
Time's up!
That is all for today's sharing.
See you tomorrow!
May everyone be filled with joy at all times.
Hurry up!
