Namaste,
Welcome to the meditation course with me.
Starting today,
We will share the 7-day meditation introductory course that lead us into the world of meditation.
Before learning meditation,
Two things need to be noticed here.
Meditation does not distinguish between risks and beliefs.
It does not require religious beliefs to learn meditation,
Nor does practicing meditation mean drawing a certain religious belief.
Meditation is not set up for a specific group of people.
Meditation is for everyone.
The first step to learn meditation is to understand why I want to learn and practice meditation.
And then it is the learning method of meditation.
What is meditation?
There are many different concepts and explanations.
No distinction is made between right and wrong,
But the degree and perspective of understanding are different.
Meditation is a tool that helps us recognize and familiarize ourselves with the loss of our brains so that we can better train our minds.
We generate a lot of thoughts and emotions every day,
Most of which are useless,
But they consume too much time and energy.
We have been wondering in the repeatance of the past and plans for the future.
It is difficult to learn in the present.
Meditation can help us connect with ourselves,
Readily turn our external attention to the inside and feel the existence of consciousness.
Through meditation,
We begin to observe our thoughts and emotions one after another and train our minds not to be attracted by thoughts and emotions at all times and to settle in the now.
The preparatory work before meditation is extremely important.
Many students used to sit in the seat,
Close their eyes and start meditating.
But it is not difficult to,
It is difficult to get into the state or it is impossible to meditate at all.
This is all because there is no preparation work.
Like if you didn't stretch and warm up before running,
You would get injured when you suddenly enter the state of running.
When it is difficult for us to enter the state of meditation or to meditate in the practice of meditation,
Do not doubt that we are not suitable for meditation.
We just have not mastered the correct method.
And let's see what will we prepare for the meditation.
Number 1,
Practice regularly.
Meditation needs to develop a habit.
Choose a quiet time period and practice regularly every day.
Even if there are only 5-10 minutes of practice time per day,
As long as you stick to it,
You will have good results.
But another practice method is less recommended.
That is,
Practice for 1 hour or even 2 hours when you have time,
But not practice at all when you have no time.
This meditation effect is not as good as the first one.
Number 2,
Choose a place for meditation.
The best place for meditation practice is a fixed area,
Quiet,
Clean,
No weird smell,
Mulberry,
Light,
Not all dark or not too bright.
Number 3,
Choose one technique at one time.
There are thousands of techniques for meditation.
We will introduce them into categories in later courses.
When you start practicing,
Choose a technique that suits you and keep practicing instead of practicing different techniques every day.
Number 4,
The state of meditation.
Should be in the state of relaxation and alertness at the same time.
The two are indescensible.
During the meditation process,
We must always adjust and maintain the balance between the two.
Too relaxed will make you noisy and too alert will make you nervous.
Number 5,
Before preparing the meditation,
We should not have any expectations for every meditation practice.
Don't expect that every practice will bring relaxation and peace of mind.
Many times,
During meditation,
We have to accept many unpleasant experiences in the process.
Therefore,
Before each meditation,
Keep an open mind to meet any possibility.
Number 6,
When we first start to meditate,
We need the guidance of an experienced teacher to avoid many detours.
For example,
As in our yoga songs,
We need a teacher to guide us to help us correct the yoga pose at the beginning of the practice.
And so meditation also requires the teacher to give us a lot of correct guidance during the practice.
Ok,
That is all for today's sharing.
See you tomorrow.
May everyone be filled with joy all the time.
Hah-ri-am,
Tah-tah.
See you tomorrow.
