
Sacral Chakra Healing: Letting Go Of Difficult Emotions
This meditation is great for healing and activating your Sacral Chakra, the seat of our emotions, desires, and the unconscious. Emotions are not meant to stay stuck in our emotional bodies. They are quite literally energy in motion. When you are feeling stuck in a particular feeling, this guided visualization can help you separate yourself from it, understand it, and let it go. Benefits include stress relief, compassion and happiness.

Hello,
My name is Golbahar Bahar Tabatabai.
I am a Reiki Master Teacher and self-love coach inspired by meditation,
The chakra system,
The moon cycles,
And visualization.
Today I'm going to share with you a meditation to help you move through difficult emotions.
Emotions are not meant to stay stuck in our bodies.
They are quite literally energy in motion,
Emotion.
When you are feeling stuck in a particular feeling,
This guided visualization can help you separate yourself from it,
Thereby allowing you to understand it and move through it.
This meditation is great for healing and activating your sacral chakra,
Sva-dhisthana.
This chakra is the seat of our emotions,
Desires,
And the unconscious.
If we do not process and let go of stuck emotions,
They will sit in our unconscious and keep us from living a happier and healthier life.
Benefits of this meditation include minimizing reacting in difficult situations and encouraging responding in its place,
Being able to see your emotions as separate from yourself rather than identifying as them,
Understanding the cause of your emotion,
Learning how to transmute the emotion into positive energy,
Relaxation,
As well as once you learn how to do this for yourself,
You will begin to expand your capacity to understand others and their emotions.
Before we begin,
Allow yourself to find a comfortable place where you will be undisturbed for the duration of this meditation.
I do recommend also having a journal or paper and pen handy if you feel called to write down what comes up for you after the meditation.
At the end of this meditation,
I will allow time for you to continue if you need more space to speak with your emotions.
So make sure you find a place where you can comfortably sit or lie down.
Let's begin.
Once you have found your seat or you have lied down,
Allow yourself to fully arrive.
Allow your eyelids to gently close over your eyes.
Let's ground into our bodies together with three rounds of breath.
In through the nose,
Out through the mouth,
Making noise if you'd like to help release any tension you're holding onto.
Deep breath in.
Big sigh out.
Deep breath in.
Big sigh out.
Deep breath in.
Big sigh out.
Now let go of this breath and simply allow your body to breathe you.
Bring your attention to the crown of your head,
The space above the top of your head.
Begin to open your visualization powers by rolling your eyes up towards the very middle of your head.
This is how we activate the third eye chakra,
Which opens us to visualization.
This also connects us to our crown chakra,
Which is where we ask healing energy to come in and assist us on this meditation journey.
At the crown of your head,
See,
Feel,
Hear,
Or simply trust that a thousand petal lotus flower in ultraviolet color is opening up your crown chakra,
The connection to the divine.
Here I will call in Reiki to assist in your meditation.
Real healing energy.
Begin to see here in the thousand petal lotus flower a pure golden light flowing into every petal of the flower.
Eventually this light seeps into the very crown of your head,
Tickling every hair,
Massaging your scalp.
Allow this light to melt down your face,
Bringing with it a sense of calm.
Let it relax the back of your neck,
Then the sides of your neck,
And then the front of your neck.
Feel it relax your shoulders,
Each of your arms.
Let it hold gently each of your hands.
Now let it envelope your shoulder blades,
Your chest,
Under your arms,
Down your sign bodies,
Your back,
And your torso,
Like a big warm hug.
At the same time as it is filling the outside of your body with warmth and light,
See this golden light filling up the space in between your ears,
Between your shoulders.
See it hugging gently your bones and your muscles,
Relaxing your organs.
See it wrap all the way down your spine to the very tip of your tailbone,
And then allow it to soften your glutes,
Your hips,
Your pelvic floor.
Let it relax each one of your beautiful legs,
Eventually hugging each of your feet and your toes like a warm sock.
Take a moment to feel this healing light fully in your body.
Embody this light within and all around you.
Now allowing it to fill your auric space,
Your electromagnetic field,
Your etheric body.
Allowing the space around you to also be calm.
Now bring the attention to the earth below you in the form you have chosen.
Perhaps it's a bed,
A couch,
Or the floor.
Whatever it is,
Know that it is connected to Mother Earth and let that connection keep you grounded as the reiki energy elevates your spirit,
Bringing you balance between the heavens and earth.
Now place your hands on your lower abdomen just below your navel.
Let it be gentle.
Let it be soft.
Perhaps you even feel your breath going deep down into this part of your belly,
Gently elevating your hands.
Here's where your sacral chakra sits.
The sacral chakra aligns with the frequency of the color orange,
So perhaps you see that now.
And it flows with the element of water,
So perhaps you feel a bit more flowy or hear the sounds of water.
The sacral chakra is the seat of our emotions,
Where we learn about our emotions,
Our desires,
And where they can become stuck in our unconscious if we do not know how to look at them with love,
Understand them,
And let them go.
So just like the water,
We will now learn how to feel the emotion and then allow it to flow freely rather than keeping it stuck like a rock in the stream.
So begin to be more focused here about where it is you are holding onto this emotion that you'd like to release.
Feel it physically in your body.
Perhaps you can even see it.
Without judgment,
Can you feel,
See,
Hear,
Or just know what it looks like?
What is its texture?
Does it make a sound?
Visualize it and personify it to aid in separating it from yourself.
You are not this emotion.
You feel this emotion,
And you are now choosing to let it go.
Now using your hands or simply visualizing it,
Softly pull the energy out from where you feel it stuck in your body,
Keeping your eyes closed,
Following your intuition.
Just gently pull it out.
Then gently hold it in your hand out in front of you and let it go.
See it floating off your hands.
Bring your hands back to your abdomen if you remove them and see the energy out in front of you.
See that emotion.
It's not quite ready to leave yet.
First we must understand it before we can fully let it go.
Take a deep breath to feel the space in you opened up within you now that the emotion is outside of you.
Look at this emotion with your third eye with love.
Look at it like your dear friend who needs help and kindly ask it,
What is it that you want,
My friend?
Let it speak.
Kindly ask it.
What brought you here?
Let it share its triggers.
Let it go.
How can I help you transform into happiness and love?
Now this one you may need to help it with.
It may need to learn from you what it feels like to feel happiness and love.
So perhaps even bringing to mind right now a moment that brings you into that blissful state and letting that feeling be shared with the emotion outside of you.
You now see how your love and happiness overtakes not only your body and your energy field,
But eventually it overtakes that negative stuck emotion as well.
Gratitude and love will always win if we allow it.
Take time to listen here.
If you have any other questions you'd like to ask this emotion,
Feel free to continue in this meditation.
Time is not linear.
Instead focus on understanding the emotion,
Accepting it and processing it before fully letting it go.
When you are ready and the emotion has turned into a golden light,
You may gently bring yourself back to where your body is supported by the floor,
The couch,
The bed or the chair.
Be gentle with yourself,
Giving yourself time before you open your eyes back up as reiki and meditation can make one feel very relaxed.
Whenever you are ready,
Grab that pen and paper that is near you and journal about your experience,
The questions and the answers.
