In this series of 5 podcasts, I'm going through and explaining spiritual or universal laws. There are many lists of spiritual laws and they all overlap to some degree. The list I chose had the fewest laws and therefore the deepest in my opinion, keeping in alignment with simplifying to get closer to the Truth. I'm going over Bashar's 5 fundamental laws of existence that govern reality: (1) You Always Exist (immortality of consciousness), (2) Everything is Here and Now (no real past/future), (3) All is One (oneness of consciousness), (4) What You Put Out Comes Back (reflection of your state), and (5) Everything Changes (except the first four laws, making change constant).

Welcome to Life,

Lessons,

And Laughter with your host,

Glenn Ambrose.

Hey there,

People.

What's happening?

Welcome,

Welcome to the podcast,

First and foremost,

And law number three.

So just to let you guys know,

If you haven't listened to the last two podcasts,

I'm going through Bashar's five spiritual laws,

So you can look them up if you'd like.

But yeah,

I'm going to touch on each one of these because there's only five of them,

And that means that they're really deep.

If they encompass the entire law system of the universe,

And there's only technically four,

Maybe in some ways five of these things,

Then they must be pretty profound.

They must be pretty broad.

So yeah,

Feel free to go listen to the others.

This one is the law of one.

All is one.

The way it's phrased here is the one is the all,

And the all are the one.

All consciousness is interconnected and a part of a single unified whole.

We are all interchangeable reflections of each other and the universe itself.

So what?

This is such a broad concept.

And again,

Please get out of your intellectual brain and drop into your heart or your third chakra,

If that works for you,

Or your entire body,

But just using your intellectual brain,

You might be able to grasp these concepts to some degree,

But they're not really going to do too much because we have to get them on a conceptual level for them to actually start shifting the way we interact with life.

They have to go deeper.

Intellectual is not enough.

So the one is all and the all are one.

So the aspects of this are there is but one God.

Many people call them by many names,

But there is one.

There's only one.

And all the religions teach this.

It's not you know,

Thankfully,

I think we've got out of the place,

Not fully,

But we've leaned away from this idea that like,

Oh,

Christianity teaches about one God and then Buddhism teaches about another,

Which Buddhism isn't even a religion.

It's a way of life.

But you can be a Buddhist Christian,

Which a lot of people don't even understand that,

Which harbors resentments.

Misunderstanding causes a lot of problems.

And if you really study the major religions,

All the major religions all teach that there's one God.

And the fact that one calls it Allah and one calls it God does not mean they're talking about a different God.

They're not in competition with one another.

They're the same teachings of the same God.

They're just expressed in a different way.

That's all.

It's not a coincidence that the Hindu God and the Muslim God and the Christian God all teach the same things.

It's because it's the same God.

So there is only one God.

And something I found interesting when I was studying this stuff is that not only do all religions,

Including Hindu,

Which they're famous for having many gods,

Their religious teachings focus on one central at the top.

And then there's a trilogy in each religion,

Too,

Which the trilogy represents creation,

Destruction,

And movement,

Basically.

So like in Christianity,

Creation is represented by God,

And then destruction is represented by Jesus because he died.

And that's the kind of a lot of his death is representative of a lot of what he went through.

So that's destruction of life and transcendence of.

So we've got creation,

We've got destruction,

And then we have the Holy Spirit as representative of life or movement,

Action.

So all the major religions have one God,

And then a trilogy underneath,

And then many gods.

Like I was saying,

Hindu,

They're like,

Oh,

The Hindus,

So they're blasphemous.

They have many gods.

No,

It's the same thing as angels in Christianity.

Like,

Oh,

Pray to Archangel Michael to keep you safe.

Pray to this one because it's the traveling,

Or this one because it's the relationships,

Or this one.

Like all the different angels,

It's the same thing in Hinduism.

They're different gods representing different aspects.

So there is but one God.

There is but one consciousness,

One reality that we are all a part of.

So that's coming at this from one direction.

The other direction,

We can come at it from two directions.

That's why I didn't think of this just now,

But I was trying to give a short title to my podcast because a lot of them you can't even see.

But if the title's long,

You can't even see it and stuff and blah,

Blah,

Blah.

So I always try to give short titles.

And this,

The way it's spelt out is it says the law is the one is the all,

And the all are the one.

And I'm like,

That's too long.

So I just put all as one.

But now that I'm explaining it,

I really see why they said it that way.

The one is all.

So there is one God,

And that's everything.

It consists of everything,

Everyone.

That neighbor that you think is a jerk,

That's God.

So it encompasses everything.

But it also says the all are one.

That's coming at it from the other way that I was about to.

That means all of us,

Me and you and that neighbor you don't like,

And the people in political office that you don't like,

Or that you do like,

And the dog and the tree and everything that exists,

That's all one.

That's all one.

So you can come at it from everything in existence is one thing,

Or you can come at it from the other way that says,

Well,

One thing is everything.

It's the same concept.

If God is all there is,

And there is nothing that isn't God.

The first time I came to that conclusion,

Like,

And I felt it in my body,

That was a profound moment for me.

It opened me up to a deeper understanding of this concept.

When I went,

Like,

Okay,

Because I had contemplated there being one God and God creating everything,

God created everything,

Everything,

Every star,

Every planet,

Every is an expression of God,

Every person,

Every plant,

Every animal is an expression of God.

Okay,

Wow,

That's such a broad concept.

And I contemplated that for a while.

And then all of a sudden it was like,

Well,

If God is all there is,

God is all there is.

It's just an expression of God.

Then that means there is nothing that isn't God.

And that deepened my understanding for some reason.

It just broadened that concept.

It took the foundational,

Okay.

You know,

It's funny,

I've been talking a lot about not using your brain and using your body intelligence or your eternal intelligence,

Your soul,

Which understands all this stuff.

Tap into that.

That's when you can really grasp these concepts.

But I mean,

Honestly,

This concept,

I don't fully have it.

Like,

I don't fully embody it as I interact with life on a daily basis.

You know,

I'm still chipping away at it,

But there's different levels that we can open up to and get a deeper understanding of what this means.

You know,

There is nothing that isn't God.

That means,

And God is only good.

Like,

God,

You know,

There isn't a bad aspect to God.

Oh,

Okay.

So now I contemplate that and I go,

Okay,

There is nothing bad about God.

God is pure love,

Pure goodness.

And God created the world.

The world is part of God.

So that means there is no,

Technically,

There is no bad.

There is no evil.

Evil doesn't actually exist.

All evil is,

Is a blocking out of the good.

It's not a thing in itself.

Why?

Because God didn't create evil.

Because God isn't evil.

God couldn't create evil if God wanted to create evil.

So there is no evil.

There's no such thing as evil.

There is no such thing as bad.

There are things that are detrimental,

But that doesn't mean that they're bad.

Because if you use these things that are detrimental,

I touched on this on another podcast,

If you use the things that are detrimental as a learning tool to open up to something better,

Then it served a good purpose.

You know,

My alcoholism was quote unquote bad,

Supposedly,

But it induced my spiritual awakening,

And it allowed me to open up and be a father that I never could have been if I didn't open up spiritually.

A man that I never could have been in every way,

Shape,

And form.

I could never have become who I am today if I didn't go through those struggles.

So were those struggles bad?

Well,

Technically,

No.

They opened me up because I grew from them.

This is God's grace.

Just because there is something that's seemingly bad going on,

It doesn't mean that it's bad.

It means that there's something,

You know,

We've closed God out,

But it doesn't actually exist.

It's an illusion.

It's not real.

And there's good inside of it.

It's got good.

It is good if we just open up and choose to use it for that.

You know,

Like I was saying before,

Like if the,

You know,

War and killing people,

Oh,

That's bad.

Well,

No,

It's not.

If we look at it and go,

We would not like to live in a world where we kill other people because they disagree with us,

Or we kill people to acquire their land,

Or we kill people to acquire more money or more natural resources.

We don't want to live in a world like that because we do now and we look at it and we label it as bad,

And we don't want to live in a world where there's bad.

So we're going to choose something different collectively,

And we're going to live in a world where that doesn't happen.

Oh my goodness.

And then,

You know,

And then 20 years later,

50 years later,

200 years later,

We live in a world where there's no war.

And we're like,

Oh my God,

This is so beautiful.

We live in a world with no war.

How did we get here?

Well,

Through those bad things called war,

We learned how to create a new way of being that didn't include that.

But what was our motivation for creating this?

Well,

Our motivation for creating the thing that doesn't include the things that we don't like were the things that we don't like.

We didn't like them,

So we decided to create a reality that didn't include those.

We never would have thought to do that if we didn't have them.

Right?

So there's good within everything.

It's just,

Are we going to pull the,

Are we going to choose the good and use that?

Or are we going to stay focused on the illusion that we don't like?

Because that's all it is.

It's just an illusion.

It's just temporary fleeting.

And you can see how all these laws tie into one another.

Everything is here and now.

We will always exist.

So it's like,

Okay,

Well,

If we start understanding that these world circumstances are temporary and fleeting,

And they're not real,

Because nothing real can be threatened,

And the only thing that is real,

Is good,

Is God,

And that we are part of it,

And everything is part of it,

Then we stop fighting amongst one another.

And we start creating this utopian world that we all know is possible,

And we all want.

On an intellectual level,

Of course,

It's difficult to imagine living in a utopian world,

Because we haven't experienced it yet.

And our intellectual knowledge is based on everything we've experienced.

So,

Yeah,

We can.

It's difficult to comprehend on an intellectual level,

But conceptually,

It's not hard.

Not if you're open up to these laws,

To the fact that you're eternal,

And immortal,

And everything is,

You know,

We are consciousness.

Everything happens in the present moment.

The one is all,

And all are one.

Once we start living from these things,

We start bringing them into this reality,

And they start becoming more real.

Well,

They already are eternally real.

So,

No,

They don't become more real.

They just start becoming real inside this temporary reality.

So,

I'm going to expand on that a little bit.

One of the reasons why people have a hard time with this concept is they think,

Like,

If I talk about living in a utopian world,

They go,

Well,

No,

There's always going to be somebody bad out there that we have to protect ourselves against.

And it's like,

Well,

Why?

Why would you say that?

Because if everybody understands this concept,

The one is all,

And all are one,

Then we would live in a utopian world.

I would not take a hammer and smash my finger because I was mad at it or something.

I wouldn't do that.

Why?

Well,

There's one main reason,

And that's because it's part of me.

So,

If I hurt it,

Then I would experience pain because it's part of me.

So,

Why would I want to hurt myself?

That goes against our nature to try to hurt ourselves.

If we hurt ourselves on purpose,

That's when we're out of alignment with our true nature.

So,

Our true nature says we shouldn't hurt a part of ourselves because why would I want to experience pain?

Well,

If we open up to the one is all,

And all are one,

Then we understand that everyone is part of us.

Our neighbor is part of us.

Why would we want to hurt our neighbor if they are a part of us?

Because then we would just experience the pain.

It's this illusion of separateness,

This illusion of individuality.

And I think that this is one of the main problems that as you start seeing the spiritual shift happening on the planet,

One of the things that you're seeing is smaller communities popping up,

These intentional communities and spiritual communities and things like that,

Off-grid communities.

All these communities are popping up.

Why?

It's because our communities are too large and it increases this mentality of separateness,

This idea of individuality dependent on ourselves and we don't need anybody else.

It's unhealthy.

We are not supposed to be functioning that way because we think it feeds the illusion of our separateness.

Think about it.

If you have somebody that nowadays,

It's possible.

Possible doesn't mean good,

But it's possible to work on your computer.

And I'm not talking about customer service or something where you have to deal with other people,

Although that could be an aspect of it.

But you could design websites,

You could work online where you basically never have to interact with another human being for the most part.

Maybe occasionally through text or email or something.

But basically,

You can work,

You can have your food delivered,

You can send your rent in online.

You can stay in your house and never interact with another human being ever.

That's possible nowadays.

Do you think if you live like that,

You might feel isolated?

You might feel like you're not part of a community?

Do you think that that would help or hinder this concept of oneness?

Of course,

It's going to hinder it.

We're popping up these small communities so we can start interacting with one another.

There's this community concept.

I think the number was somewhere around 150,

200 people or something.

And they said,

If you have a community that is smaller than 200 to 150 people,

It basically eliminates crime.

And not just crime,

But negative behavior towards others.

Not completely,

Personalities are going to come out,

But it minimizes it dramatically.

And the reason is,

Is because if you have a community of less than 200 people,

You know everybody in it.

And even if you dislike somebody,

You probably like somebody that cares about the person you dislike.

So let's say you dislike your neighbor,

Bob.

Okay.

You dislike Bob,

But Bob's got two kids and his kids play with your kids.

So you don't want to hurt Bob because then his kids are going to get affected and then your kids are going to get affected and then you're going to get affected.

So you just act nice to Bob,

Even though you don't really like him,

Just to keep the peace.

Now,

Of course,

Is healthy ways and unhealthy ways of doing that.

We can still set boundaries in a loving way and all that stuff.

So let's not go down that road.

The point is,

Is that there's an interconnectedness when you're living in community with people.

This is why I think people in Dominican Republic know how to get along with each other better.

They'll get angry and argue and yell at one another.

And then five minutes later,

They're fine.

They can put their issues behind them and just move on and not take it so seriously.

Like we used to do as kids,

You're arguing with your best friend and the next day,

You're best friends again.

It's like,

That's how it's supposed to be because we are all one.

And one aspect of somebody doesn't encompass all that they are.

We've gotten too into boundaries,

Especially with the spiritual shift going on.

There's all kinds of aspects.

Actually,

This might be a podcast I might do.

We go too far in a direction.

Whenever we find something that works,

We just overuse it until it's unhealthy.

Boundaries are like that right now in society.

Boundaries is one of the biggest catchphrases that everybody loves because whenever something happens inside their life,

They can cut somebody else out of their life and then say they're setting a boundary.

And it's easy because you don't have to do any work on yourself.

I was speaking about this with somebody yesterday and it's always a balance between two things.

The communities are smaller around here,

But if somebody's in your life and we're like,

Oh,

They suck the energy out of me.

Oh,

They're really negative and all this stuff.

And it's like,

Oh,

So we set a boundary,

Right?

And it's like,

Yeah,

Sometimes we do have to set boundaries.

Boundaries are a legitimate thing.

I'm a big fan of them.

When they're set out of self-love,

Most people set them out of frustration and they don't actually set them and then they wonder why they don't work.

But that's because they don't really understand what they're doing.

But let's just say we run around setting boundaries all the time,

Like cutting people out of our lives that are energy sucking and that are negative and all this stuff.

And that's our only tool.

Well,

We're going to be alone because everybody's going to piss us off eventually.

So everybody's going to say something that we disagree with.

So we're just creating our own prison.

We're just cutting everybody out of our lives.

So that's not the only thing.

Setting boundaries and teaching people how to treat you is one aspect,

But there's another side to the coin.

So what we have to do is we need to learn to get along with other people.

And the real ultimate way is this law that we are all one.

There are other intellectual ways that we can comprehend this and why it's beneficial to us.

Because like I said,

We can't be alone.

Because then we never work on ourselves.

That's the problem.

Working on ourselves internally has to be number one priority.

Number two priority can be dealing with external circumstances.

But most people have it backwards.

They're like dealing with external circumstances takes 99% of their effort.

And then they put 1% of their effort in working on themselves.

It's like,

No,

No,

No,

No.

You know,

Like if all you do is set boundaries when somebody behaves in a way that you don't like,

You're going to be alone.

And you're not going to be able to interact in life.

You're not going to be able to go out in public.

You're not going to be able to go enjoy things or do things with people because there's bound to be somebody that's going to behave in a way that you don't like.

So then you have to get away from them.

You need to cut them out of your life.

No,

Just like learn to not let crap bother you.

How about that?

How about the fact that somebody is acting in a way that you don't really care or saying something you don't care for or saying something in a way that you disagree with?

You allow them to have their opinion and you don't take it on just because you're around somebody negative doesn't mean you have to allow them to suck your energy out.

We have to be more responsible for our own energy.

And just if somebody is sucking,

Then just hold your,

You don't have to engage with them.

Like you have to be engaged with somebody for them to pull energy out of you.

Somebody walking up and going,

Doesn't life suck?

That does not suck the energy out of you.

That does.

If somebody walks up and says,

Doesn't life suck?

And you're like,

Oh,

Oh,

I can't stand now.

And I feel weak and tired because they said something negative.

Like you're not in control of your own energy.

Like we have to be in control of ourselves to some degree,

Right?

It's a balance between the two,

Take,

Learn to take care of yourself,

Learn to not take on every negative thing that somebody says,

Learn to let other people have their own opinions.

This is honestly,

I think that's even a bigger part of what we need to work on because it's self-work than the external setting boundaries.

And even the setting boundaries,

We need to do it for us.

We don't do it against them.

You know,

Like I was saying earlier,

People set boundaries wrong because they set them out of frustration.

So people running around setting boundaries going,

They're negative,

They're bad.

I'm cutting them out of my life.

That's horrible.

Like you are not going to grow doing that.

All you're going to learn is fresh because you're doing it out of frustration.

You're experiencing frustration.

That person has control over how you feel.

So you have no control over yourself.

You're experiencing frustration.

There's no,

There's no peace in that direction.

However,

Setting a boundary out of self-love and going,

Okay,

I love myself.

This behavior is consistently negative and I've given them,

You know,

I don't take it on seriously.

I don't let them affect me,

But it's also repetitive and consistent.

And it's just not really somebody that feeds my soul.

It's,

I just don't grow when I'm around them.

I'm spending all my energy making sure that they don't zap my energy.

And I don't need to be doing that all the time.

I just want to live my life and have people that are pleasant and joyful around me.

So now I'm going to set a boundary with this person out of self-love,

Not because they're bad,

Because you're love and you're just trying to live in more love and have more love around you.

That's night and day.

If you don't understand the difference,

Please learn the difference because that is night and day.

One is feeding negativity and then nothing good happens.

One is love and everything good happens,

Right?

So,

So back to wrap up this,

The concept of,

Of oneness.

You know,

We are one when we start understanding that we are one with everything.

We stop abusing it because it's an extension of ourselves.

We stop abusing the planet.

We stop abusing our neighbor.

We stop,

You know,

We stop abusing everything,

Taking things for granted,

Saying things flippantly,

Like we just,

Because they're an expression of God.

And so are we,

And we're all in this together.

So it's the two ways to come at it.

Either,

You know,

You come at it where everything is all one and we are interconnected with it.

You know,

There's a collective energy.

We have an energy field,

But there's a collective energy field on earth and there's collective energy fields in smaller communities and stuff like that.

So like our energy actually impacts those things.

That's one of the beautiful things that's happening on the earth right now is so many people are leaning into this self-work and this,

The spiritual philosophies and,

And opening up to a connection to a greater,

A power greater than themselves and all this beautiful stuff that's happening all over the world,

That it's lightening the atmosphere and it's making it more,

The atmosphere more conducive to spiritual shifts and spiritual awakenings and understanding these concepts.

Why?

Because the collective energy is more spiritual.

It's lighter.

It's not as dense.

So now we can open up to these concepts when we're presented with them easier.

Not necessarily easy.

Sometimes they are,

Sometimes they're not,

But it's that collective.

So we're all in this together.

You know,

No one here gets out alive.

So like once you understand that there's no reason,

Like I was kind of saying earlier,

There's no reason to do anything negative.

There's no reason to harm another.

There's no reason to steal from another.

There's no reason to do anything harmful to another because we would just be doing it to ourselves,

Which we are,

You know,

So,

So like,

This is kind of starts bleeding into the law of karma because like everything you do,

You're just doing to yourself because we're all one.

So whatever you put out,

You get back because you're putting it out,

You're doing it.

So of course you're going to get it back.

Oh,

I,

Well,

No,

I did that to somebody else and then something bad happened in my life.

I did something bad to them over there and then something else bad happened in my life or I'm just not happy.

Well,

Maybe you can't draw a line to you doing something bad to that person and then you being unhappy on this particular day,

But there is one.

It's just energy.

It doesn't look the same all the time.

This is why to me,

It's one of the things it's like,

You know,

Hey,

If you don't understand how this stuff works and you don't,

That's fine.

Just,

Just do it because your life enhances.

Just,

That's,

You know,

Like if you want to do it for selfish reasons in the beginning,

That's fine.

You can open up to this stuff later,

But like you,

You,

You can't do it feel good inside and experience self-love and joy and bliss and peace.

When you're out hurting other people,

You can't do it.

You can lie to yourself and rationalize,

But your soul knows the truth.

You can't run from that.

People can think they're happy on a surface level while they're abusing others,

But they're not.

They don't even know what real happiness and peace is.

You can't,

If that's a habit,

Hurting other people is a habit.

You can't,

You are not living in peace within,

Because if you were living with peace and peace within,

You wouldn't be out hurting other people.

You know,

You see how all these concepts are foundational,

Man.

If you learn them and implement them,

You will start interacting with life differently.

So contemplate them,

Embody them to the best of your ability.

All right.

That's going to do it for this one.

Hope you enjoyed.

Talk with you guys soon.

Peace.
