We have a desire.

So one desire for anything in the world is not present with us.

Now,

I don't have the money,

So the money will come from outside.

That is known as the desire fulfillment.

What about the real self?

It is already within us.

When we contemplate and reflect,

We find there is no reason to run in the world with anxiety,

Duality,

Conflict.

If we have conviction that this real self,

This peace and happiness is already gifted to us by the existence.

What do we are going to achieve?

We are going to achieve what we already have.

Are you getting it?

Desire for the real self.

And desire for money.

I don't have it,

So I have to earn.

Desire for clothes.

I have to go to the store to buy food.

I don't have.

Do you see the difference between the two desires?

From there,

The real journey of this Eastern wisdom begins.

Once this intellect and the mind has a conviction that this is already within me,

There is no reason.

And what I'm going to achieve by fulfilling the desires of the world?

Main goal is peace and happiness.

That is already within me.

You know,

This understanding comes step by step.

It is not a instant affair.

One guy,

Very well educated,

Software expert.

Indian guy went to a monk who had been working here in Intel for 25 years.

He's been a big guy.

Big guy means,

You know,

You have maybe a million dollars,

More than a million dollars.

You have a mansion.

So he went to the monk and he said,

You teach me and you teach me Gita.

So Gita has 700 verses.

Every verse is encrypted file.

It's a folder.

So to open it,

He said,

OK,

You have to spend another three years and I will teach you everything.

I don't have time.

I'm very busy.

OK,

Then I will pick up the last chapter,

The 18th chapter.

He said,

Master,

I don't have time.

I told you I'm extremely busy.

He was anxious.

He was frustrated by the response of the monk.

So 18th chapter will take a couple of weeks and after that you will know what the message of the Gita is.

I will pick up the 10 verses and that gives the summary.

That summarizes the message of the Gita.

We are always in a hurry.

You are always in a hurry.

Why don't you understand?

Can you teach me instantly?

Master said,

Declare that you are not worthy of suffering.

That is the message of the Gita.

The guy who is already in anxiety,

He is already suffering and he is not recognizing that he is suffering.

How he can get this message that you are not worthy of suffering?

In stress,

I am searching peace.

That is the greatest ignorance we have.

And that is why,

Lead me from the false to the truth,

Lead me from the ignorance to knowledge.

Knowledge of what?

Self-knowledge.

What exactly is the message of the Gita?

I am saying self-inquiry.

That is the super,

Super psychology.

Moral psychology cannot beat,

Cannot meet.

So simple.

You cannot find anything like this.

Self-inquiry.

I have to filter out what is not self.

That is the way we use this self-inquiry,

We use the inquiry in everything.

So we have to understand those false notions we have created about who am I.

Mind unconsciously,

Habitually the moment I wake up,

I become aware of the world.

The mind gives a status of reality to the world.

Why I am not aware of the world as it is?

So what is the world?

There is a wall in the room,

In the space,

And the gadgets are lying there,

And the computer,

And the monitor,

And the honey,

As it is.

No superimposition.

Who superimposes I?

How?

Mind.

Which mind?

The mind that is,

That lives in ignorance.

Are you getting it?

Say yes,

Even if you are not getting it,

No problem.

We will get it,

That is the way of the knowledge.

Today we do not understand,

Tomorrow we will understand.

So the moment I give the reality status to this world,

Which is in constant flux,

Anything.

I see the body of a honey,

That is constantly changing,

Everything is in constant flux.

But my mind says no.

I have already separated myself from you.

After giving the reality status.

Somewhere deep inside the mind,

I see you are different from me.

I am different from you.

So reality status,

The separation that you are different from me,

You are separate from me,

So if you are good,

I would be,

I would love to be with you.

That gives me a joy,

Because I am searching for a joy.

So my mind,

After giving a reality status of you are bad,

I want to keep a distance from you.

So everything is playing in the mind.

And that mind is known as in delusion.

Delusion causes the ignorance.

Ignorance is the cause of the suffering.

Oh,

So you are also a delusion,

Why should I learn from you?

Ask that question.

Weird guy,

You are also a delusion,

You are also an ignorance.

Why should I learn from you?

That's why,

Sometimes I always say that science puts a hundred percent reasoning,

We put two hundred percent.

We don't want to evade any question that has a doubt.

I am also a delusion.

Eastern wisdom is an instrument of knowledge that removes the ignorance.

Guru or a teacher means guru,

The word guru is a Sanskrit word,

Moving from ignorance to knowledge.

It does not have a reality status,

But the knowledge and the truth has a reality status.

What is the condition in which you receive the knowledge,

When you have a sense of humility,

When you have a sense of receptivity.

When I'm already in anxiety,

I am suffering.

You are not worthy of suffering.

How can I remove the tag that I am suffering from,

They have removed all the quantity of ignorance.

It cannot be quantified symbolically.

All the quantity of ignorance,

As many hairs they have on their head and the face.

Symbolic.

Everything is understood with reference to the real self.

Self-inquiry is the way,

But before the self-inquiry,

I need to prepare myself so that I can receive and retain the knowledge.

The guy who said,

We are jack of all trades,

Master of none.

We are not worthy of suffering.

How you recognize you are not worthy of suffering?

We see ourselves into the mirror in the presence of the sunlight,

We switch on the light and then we see.

In the presence of the knowledge only,

I can recognize what is false.

We are awakening to that knowledge.

What is knowledge?

It is awareness.

What is awareness?

We have already uncovered the three layers of a gift.

We are face to face.

The real self knows the real self.

The consciousness knows the consciousness.

That is the journey of the Eastern wisdom.

So we have been undertaking this journey and we have reached to understanding of sorrow and happiness.

How we experience the sorrow and happiness in our life.

So first I give a reality,

Status to the world outside,

To a person,

To an event,

To a location.

Oh,

This is my house.

Welcome to my house.

As if the house will chase me when I leave this planet.

That means it is my house.

That is the meaning of my house.

What is the other meaning?

So you see that,

You know,

With a smaller font size,

My,

And bigger font size house.

What is the meaning?

That I live in a mansion.

Mansion we say?

It's a bigger house,

Stephen?

Or you put maybe 50 font size,

My,

And bigger font size house.

Or you put maybe 50 font size of my,

After that house.

It means the same thing.

You have given reality,

Status to the house.

You put the condition.

Putting any condition on the world outside,

Including our relations,

Is going to result into the second step of the superimposition,

The false idea and the notion that you are separate.

Then you are my love,

You are my honey.

It doesn't mean that,

Today you go back to your,

To your honey and you say that I have realized what kind of a honey you are.

This has to be awakened inside my head.

I have to awaken to this knowledge.

Understand it clearly.

We are trying to find out joy and the sorrow,

Sorrow and the happiness.

Where I get it?

From which I am giving you this.

And if this monitor stops working,

Then should I continue to love?

It is conditional.

What is that conditional?

It is from the best company.

You are moving in a wrong direction.

What is that conditional?

Reality,

Status and separate from it.

What is wrong condition?

I married to a billionaire.

I'm using the marriage just to,

Because when I give a reality status and I see the separate and I'm searching the peace and happiness,

I married to a monitor,

I married to a person or I married to a situation or event.

I'm not looking for happiness.

I'm looking for a relationship.

I'm looking for a relationship.

You did not wish me for my birthday.

Why I did not wish because one year is gone.

One year of your life is reduced.

It's better not to wish.

Your perception,

The way you perceive the life.

Why to get upset on small things in life?

We are not worthy of suffering.

Because it is different and separate from me and you are,

Or anything outside where I have given a reality status is going to offer me peace and happiness,

But it does not lie in anything in the world outside because it is constantly in flux.

But because of the delusion,

I am seeking peace and happiness and result we already know.

So we are constantly suffering.

What is the suffering?

Suffering includes grief,

Anxiety,

Actually busy,

Reaction,

Duality,

Extreme tiredness,

And include all the 3000 illnesses,

Mental illnesses,

Emotional and mental illness,

Psychological illnesses,

As explained by our modern psychology.

Six hundred page book of abnormal psychology.

I started thinking that,

Whether these symptoms belongs to me or not,

Seeking peace and happiness.

The mind is searching for it,

Where it is not.

That is the greatest delusion and causes and less suffering.

Last question and then we will start our practice.

Honestly,

Tell me how long you want to suffer,

If your mind is thinking after this session,

Second function is the intellect.

Intellect is knowledge.

The way previously the mind has separated and given the world a reality status.

But now you are simply aware.

Lane two is a knower,

Observer,

Seer of unwanted,

Unwelcome thoughts.

Entering into the mind.

Don't reclaim them that they are mine.

So what is going to happen?

The mind jumps to the lane three.

Where is the lane three?

Calmness and peace.

How come?

I am not only separate,

Different from the world,

At the same time I am not the world.

What it means?

Again,

Understand knowledge.

It simply means I got a gift.

What is the meaning?

But why we say this?

Because I feel limited in myself.

Desire means I made myself so crazy,

Even if I possess a billion dollars and still I feel I am reduced to not.

I am so limited.

You see that you cheated me,

You deceived me.

I loved you so much.

You see that?

Limitedness.

You are caught in ignorance.

That is why the master says,

Let me see that real self is complete and whole in itself.

All the different religions they talk in at the very surface level.

Holiness and wholeness.

We know it correctly.

Sarvesham mangalam bhavatu.

Sarvesham mangalam bhavatu.

Sarvesham mangalam bhavatu.

Let there be auspiciousness for all.

Auspiciousness,

Why?

Existence has manifested this word.

Inauspiciousness,

To remain inauspiciousness all the time.

That is what we are searching.

My friends,

Contemplation and reflection is required.

And now is the time,

Look inside the forehead in the space,

Look inside the forehead in the space,

Start gently Om Shanti into the space and start breathing.

Make sure in gentle breathing into the chest.

Recognize and accept the changes or the experiences they have.

It may,

Your experiences may include some vision and the colors and the flowers and the tingling,

Numbness and the expansion of the body.

Let it happen.

Don't crave for it.

It is not there simply,

Emptiness is there better.

Now we will go for the second breathing into the valley.

Keep on doing the Om Shanti inside the forehead.

You expand your valley and squeeze your valley with every inhalation and exhalation.

Here the science cannot explain.

We say it is the energy,

The life force moves the valley in and out.

We help our mind to rise in awareness.

Because below the belly button there are all the three chakras represents the center of survival,

The center of extreme desire for seeking happiness and the center of greed.

So we bypass those.

How?

That is what we are doing.

Continue with the body living in the state of sensation,

Comfort and steadiness.

If it does not remain on a given day,

You recognize it.

It will happen.

And stop this,

Do nothing.

So the moment you stop this kind of breathing you are aware of the changes that is taking place.

You experience.

You are going within.

You know normally in our country we practice meditation with a beautiful music and etc.

Etc.

Your mind is kept outside.

How can you achieve success?

How can you move into the higher meditation?

Now keep on doing Om Shanti inside the forehead in this time.

You are breathing long,

Deep and hissing and gazing both the belly and the chest.

You inhale.

Belly expands,

Follows the rib cage.

You exhale.

The belly squeezes and the rib cage.

Longer,

Deeper,

Deeper.

Longer,

Deeper and hissing.

With the hissing sound that keeps your awareness intact.

There is a reason.

This hissing sound has a particular name of the breathing practice.

And that I saw instead of using that name,

You know people have again the wrong notion.

That's why I am not using it.

Hissing sound.

Continue.

Now stop this.

Do nothing.

Awareness recognized.

And accept the changes that is happening now.

In that state you start breathing deep,

Silent and slow.

Extremely deep,

Totally silent and slow.

As you inhale,

Move the mind from the center of the head to the tailbone.

And while exhaling move the mind from the tailbone.

To the center of the head and the spine.

Two things.

Third point of awareness as you inhale.

The mind starts moving from the center,

Top of the head,

In the spine.

Singing mentally.

Om Shanti.

And the Shanti ends at the tailbone.

While exhaling the Om begins at the tailbone.

Shanti ends at the top of the head.

This practice in Tantra is known as the Nyaasa.

Now leave that.

We are moving at a very subtler,

Subtler level.

Now we will involve the mind in the semi-active practice.

That is visualize the triangle in the cave of your heart.

Om Shanti.

Shanti you know,

Every time you move the mind in a triangle,

Clockwise and anti-clockwise.

Dropping Om Shanti.

Om Shanti.

Om is nothing but the real Self.

It is a pure consciousness.

Take it that way.

Shanti means peace.

You already know it.

Self.

I see the real Self.

Unwrapping all the three layers.

And Shanti means wow.

This is the peace here and happiness here.

So when you are able to recognize the sync is complete.

Moving the mind,

Pushing the mind at the center of the triangle deep inside the cave of your heart.

Singing mentally Om.

Now it is the reverse.

That is the key.

What is the reverse?

Now Om is pushing the mind inside.

Mind seemingly stops and you drop the Shanti.

You have a conscious self absorption.

Where is it?

Ah,

It is an objectless state.

Objectless state.

What it means?

That is what I explained differently in today's talk.

All the objects are gone.

Object belongs to the world.

So then what is left?

Only the subjective reality.

That is one aspect we want to reach there by this triangle step.

Which is almost a passive step.

A passive step means it is all about the knowledge and awareness.

Do you see the way I see?

So the moment you discover unwanted and welcome thoughts has broken that state of absorption.

You can follow the same on the triangle and then sink and then moving inside into that state.

And now leave this Om Shanti on the 16 fingers.

And what exactly is unique in that step?

You don't touch the 16 points on the fingers by the thumb physically.

But everything is happening in the mind.

The mind is totally absorbed.

Recognizing the mind's eye,

Mind's touch,

Mind's ear,

Mind's tongue.

Everything is 10 steps.

What happens?

Just do it and we will talk about that.

Everything is happening in the mind.

So the objective world appears too far.

Mind is not interested.

Then what happens?

That only you can tell me.

While sharing your experiences.

The lesson for me today started off very restless.

And uncomfortable physically.

Then when you used the term in telling the story about not worthy of suffering.

It was like the switch went off and lane 1 completely disappeared.
