Eastern wisdom aims at self-discovery. Self-discovery leads to self-knowledge. The journey to self-discovery helps us to know what is existence and what is the world and who we are. When we recognize ignorance causes suffering because we are false that leads to a lot of challenges in daily life. When we follow the path of Eastern wisdom, it helps us realize our wrong notions, and misconceptions, and awaken us to our real self. The real self is pure consciousness of the nature of permanent peace, happiness, love truth, and wisdom. That is the highest meditative state, set by our masters. Listen, learn, contemplate, and reflect on the topics mentioned in the title, then practice regularly to move from ignorance to wisdom. So,

In the last session,

I talked a little about a great master,

Narada,

Who was like us.

You see,

When I gave some examples,

Real life examples,

Every week I talk and interact with a lot of people,

I send emails.

So I never mean to criticize anyone.

But what happens to the mind,

The mind instantly recognizes where is a delusion,

Where is the problem,

Where is the impurity.

Based on that,

I respond.

And then I give those examples in different sessions.

So I have no means to.

So Narada gave the 14 tips to remove the impurities of the mind.

And when the purity is attained,

Then you simply listen.

Who is Stephen among you?

You simply listen and you point out.

Who is Brandy?

You simply point out.

I point out and you know,

Yes,

I got it.

That is why listening and learning are important.

Come back to our great hero,

Narada.

Narada was like us,

Perhaps much,

I won't say worse because we also lived that kind of a life in the beginning.

So we will talk about this Narada in his early days.

How do we recognize the impurity in the daily life?

We have to recognize there's a cognitive ability,

The instantly you recognize these impurities and you can change there through the knowledge,

Through the principle,

Whether it has to do with the likes and dislikes,

Sorrow and the joy,

Jealousy and the hatred,

Then dictated by the commander in chief.

You all know that.

So I will go after that.

But I'm going to introduce another group of the text.

They are known as Puranas,

Group of the text,

Written almost three to four thousand years ago.

So now this Purana means parables and stories.

So we are not going whether these stories are actually happened.

It's a history or it's a parable or it's a story.

Every story in the Purana points to our impurities.

But why picked up this one is to introduce this text and the story.

And there is a story about Narada.

Narada,

The supreme human being.

But how he lived his life.

It is the story of the Narada who claimed what he claimed.

He claimed that he succeeded in meditation.

That is the story.

So it is better to I will point by point,

I will analyze on one side,

I will keep the impurities and the other side,

I will keep the stories.

Fact is that we are Narada in one or the other way in his early days.

And that gives a lot of removes a lot of misunderstanding about what meditation is.

So Narada was a polymath.

He was an astrologer.

He was a palmist.

He knew the science in those days.

If you say astrophysics,

He was an expert in understanding the constellation.

He also understood.

He has read everything.

So everyone has a great appreciation about him.

Only one problem was left that he did not succeed in meditation.

So he went to the originator Shiva.

Originator of yoga,

Tantra,

Spirituality is what we say Shiva.

So Shiva used to live in the Himalayas.

So he went there.

Shiva intuitively felt the commander in chief is dictating him that he wanted to succeed in all the trades.

Are you guys listening?

Yeah,

I know that you're listening.

So Shiva said that go to that peak of Himalayas.

That peak is known as the forest of austerity.

Many great masters have done the austerity.

If you do the meditation practice there,

You will succeed.

What is the point of delusion here?

Now the Shiva,

Because Shiva when you realize because many people ask me that what is give me the best mantra.

First you become the best then any mantra will become the best.

That we do not understand.

Just out of emotional rage.

Oh,

Let us.

So the Shiva said,

Okay,

Go to that peak and you meditate.

Meditation is beyond time,

Space and location.

So sometime based on the student level,

Teacher has to guide this.

Shiva realized that what is the problem?

It is the commander in chief.

I want to brag.

Oh,

I succeeded.

So now he went there and he started meditating.

Sometime what happens emotional dependence,

Ignorance also create a wrong force in us,

A wrong power in us.

Like the one,

You know,

She,

I told you in the last session that she left the corporate job and now she is on a life mission,

But she is not clear.

What is that life mission?

So obviously you will result,

It will result into frustration.

So Narada went to that.

It is possible when we have almost everything,

All the riches.

We have a big house,

We have a car,

We have all the basic physical needs are easily met.

We get easily carried away.

We claim that we have achieved everything.

I am doing good.

Like Bill Gates,

He forgot to realize that he lived a loveless life in the first year.

He should have taken care of.

And I have told you many a times,

He said,

I lived a loveless life for 27 years.

So now this see the symbolic form of his story.

The fire,

The air and the water disturbances are the great disturbances in our life.

So symbolically it says that Narada was disturbed.

Narada was not disturbed by the fire means hunger water,

The weakness in the body and also the air.

So he could control the breath for many minutes.

He could bypass his hunger by fighting inside.

So outside it appears that you have succeeded in meditation.

So sometime you might have seen that you are talking to yourself.

Oh,

I've been doing meditation.

And the guy had a different gesture.

Oh,

He's doing meditation,

But he still has a lot of challenges,

You know,

That I have noticed.

So don't start teaching until you are sure that your behavior and attitude has also changed.

So he has worn all these because he was not disturbed by the hunger.

He could sit for seven days.

He could sit for he was not disturbed with even if at the higher altitude,

The oxygen level is low.

He could retain his breath for many minutes.

So is it a success in meditation?

Answer is no.

Sir,

Are you listening?

Yes,

He is listening.

So now the greatest taboo.

What is the greatest taboo?

Sex.

Sex is a taboo.

So now the greatest taboo.

What is the greatest taboo?

Sex.

Sexual pleasure.

I'm talking about the story of the Narada before he became a great master.

So then what happened?

He was lured,

Seduced by opposite sex in many different ways,

But he could control this taboo also.

And everything was at the intellectual level.

Outside the society,

We can control the taboo easily,

Isn't it?

In a society,

In a group.

But not,

But he succeeded.

He was not disturbed even with the sexual fantasy,

Ideas,

Etc.

Now the Narada,

This guy,

That is what happens in our daily life.

We have to become aware.

We have strong likes and dislikes of the sensations of the touch,

Sensation of the sight,

Sensations of smell,

Etc.

So we have to raise our bar of awareness in daily life.

So anyhow,

So Shiva told Narada,

Oh!

He said,

Do not talk about your success in meditation because because you had won over the hunger,

You have bypassed the taboo,

And all those things,

You know,

I briefly told.

It's a long story.

I want to make it meaningful to all of us.

So Narada,

Shiva told Narada that please don't tell your story of success in meditation to anyone and especially to the Vishnu.

Now you see that you will understand those characters.

Vishnu is the reincarnation of Krishna is Vishnu.

So Vishnu has in fact originated yoga.

He understood each and every aspect.

So why Shiva told Narada that don't tell Vishnu because Vishnu will realize and then Vishnu will be very tough on you.

So it is better not to tell.

Live with your commander in chief.

I think whoever might be aware of this story,

Samir may be aware of the story.

It's a part of the Indian culture,

But we don't get the actual meaning.

Inside there is impurity and outside because of the intellectual understanding,

We claim that it is a purity.

Now the real story begins from here.

Narada went directly to the Vishnu and said that I had a great success in meditation.

Never brag to anyone around you.

Observe your mind,

Thought,

What you are doing,

What you are going to say.

Before you say something about this Eastern wisdom,

You are sure that you have realized that state.

Otherwise,

Who does not know anything about meditation,

They will find faults in you or deliberately point you the fault.

It will frustrate you.

Now see what happens.

He told Vishnu,

I have just come from the greatest meditation,

But the Vishnu smiled.

Vishnu said,

You look very radiant,

Like you have achieved a tremendous victory.

What kind of meditation did you have?

Narada said that I defeated the taboo,

I defeated hunger,

I defeated the air.

Air means the value.

I could control the breath.

That is what I used to say.

A polar bear can bury themselves into the snow and they live in hibernation for six months.

It does not mean that they had a great meditation.

Now the real story is yet to come.

Existence is always with us.

It creates an opportunity,

It creates an adversity to check whether the person is in a state of meditation or not.

So Narada was a great palmist.

He was known all over India.

So there was a king.

Now you see how the story goes and who has written the story,

I will talk in the next lesson,

That he passes the message by a story.

So the king's daughter,

Princess,

Wanted to get married.

So normally it's a tradition,

Let us consult with the palmist and astrologer.

Narada was a great astrologer and a palmist.

So he invited Narada to see the hand of.

.

.

Can you figure out what is going to happen?

The hand of a beautiful girl.

He has to touch it.

Do you see?

We meet a lot of people.

Anyhow,

You see,

You should now because you have already have a strong foundation so you can guess what is going to happen.

So king said,

Narada,

Please look at the hand of my daughter and predict what is going to happen in the marriage.

So Narada reached there and he saw this beautiful young princess dancing near the garden.

What happens when we are caught by the impurities of mind?

I'm comparing both.

The reality of the world is accepted by the mind.

I discussed about that.

The moment we wake up,

We become aware of this world and we say it is the reality,

It is separate from us.

Then the mind says,

Okay,

I have a desire.

I will make an effort to possess and own in order to be happy.

That was the principle I discussed earlier.

So Narada Narada went to,

I told you,

To the kingdom and he took the hand of the princess in his hand to answer what kind of a husband she should choose,

What will be her fate.

These were the two questions asked by the king.

What then happened?

Narada looked at the palm of this princess and he said,

Narada looked at the palm of this princess and her name,

Forget about his name,

Her name was Vishwamohini.

You can say Vishwamohini,

She was extremely beautiful.

You can say Miss Universe nowadays.

Understand that this is what is going to happen.

It is not about Miss Universe,

Mr Universe also.

And girls are attracted by Mr Universe also.

But we have to take the,

Extract,

We have to extract the story with reference to the impurities of the mind.

So what he,

Narada saw the lines in her hand.

He told the king that whosoever marries this girl is going to be the king of the three worlds.

He is going to live as the gods live.

That was the prediction based on the science of palmistry,

Based on the logic of the palmistry or astrology.

Story goes a little further.

He has already seen the hand.

He has done his prediction.

So after the prediction,

Narada was mesmerized by the beauty of this girl.

Why he has gone and what happened to him?

That is the message we have to learn.

Why we go to the store to buy something and then we get attracted and get attached.

I'm just giving an example.

It happens.

It happens to us.

Anyhow,

Mesmerized,

Hypnotized.

Then he said whosoever marry,

That was the prediction,

Whosoever will marry this girl will become the richest person because of her stars and that guy will live like a god because of the marriage.

I found a soul mate.

Do you see that?

We talk about I found a soul mate.

Whether it becomes a soul mate later,

That's a different thing.

Anyhow,

Then what happens because he was mesmerized,

He started thinking because of the likes and the likes increased,

It became an attachment.

Attachment became a desire.

Narada started thinking in his mind that well,

I should marry this girl.

Why he has come?

That is what we say coincident.

Coincident.

There is no coincident that happens in the world.

Reality is inside me.

Do you see?

I'm just comparing side by side.

Anyhow,

So we know that there is a coincidence.

Brandy is laughing.

Do you see?

I'm just comparing side by side.

Anyhow,

So we should marry this girl.

Well,

Everything looks wonderful in her hand and she is going to find the most beautiful,

The most handsome prince.

Then what happens,

You know?

How we become a soul mate and how we found the soul mate?

Can you guess?

We have already discussed about these enemies,

Impurities of the mind.

Because I have a desire to own this girl,

To marry this girl.

So I have to I have to declare myself that I'm the most handsome boy.

Where I go?

I go to saloon or spa,

You know,

I don't know that.

So his mind started thinking of the reality of the world.

Reality of the world is misuniverse.

Emotional trigger with strong likes and dislikes causes the attachment.

Then came down the jealousy that I will own her and ultimately he has to make an effort.

He went to the Vishnu.

He said,

Why don't you make me the most handsome boy?

Why don't you make me the most handsome man?

He said,

Yes,

I will make you the most handsome man.

No worries.

Now,

Again,

A symbolic gesture that is very important to understand.

You know,

This guy,

I think a couple of weeks ago,

I told you that I gave her 200 percent and I asked him that why you gave 200 percent to her in the first meeting?

You have been with me for the last one year.

You have not given me even five percent.

In the fit of emotional dependence,

In the fit of strong attachment,

We don't listen to anyone.

We don't listen even to the parents.

Wait,

Understand again.

Did it happen in your life?

Don't say no.

It happens to everyone's life.

Our face expression,

Our gestures,

Our thought process,

All changes because of the emotional dependence caused by the likes and dislikes,

Jealousy and the hatred and the joy and the sorrow.

Do you agree?

Because we start speaking something else.

So what is the symbolic form?

So Vishnu said,

Yes,

I have made you the most handsome person.

You have the,

You know,

We in America,

We say first impression is the last impression.

So everything is given to create that first impression,

Except one thing.

He gave the distinctive appearance of the body,

Haircut,

You know,

Everything.

It's symbolic.

That's why I'm talking,

I'm saying that he did,

Vishnu did everything except Narada was given a face of a monkey.

Symbolic.

Everything was very smart in face of a monkey.

So monkey is representative of a wandering mind because of the likes and dislikes and fear also there if someone win,

If someone get this girl or anything in the world.

We always look at ourselves.

That monkey mind says you are the heartthrob,

You know,

Heartthrob we say.

Heartthrob of my life,

You know,

I want to marry you.

You are my soulmate.

Just meeting once we become a soulmate.

How great we are.

But anyhow,

The face of the monkey,

Face of the monkey,

Remember,

It's a wandering mind full of likes and dislikes.

That monkey mind goes,

Jumps onto the one tree,

Then returns to the same branch of a tree.

That is kind of a monkey mind.

What a crazy,

That is what happens.

Now,

The Narada.

So what happens in those days that the king used to invite lot of princes from other kingdom and they used to sit on a chair in a single row and what happened?

And this girl,

Miss Universe will come with a garland and she will sit on a chair and she will sit on a chair and Miss Universe will come with a garland and if whomsoever she put the garland,

She will marry that.

So ten princes were sitting there and one among them was Narada.

Vishnu is supposed to be very beautiful.

So he made him the handsome man,

But a monkey face.

So what happened?

The girl did not choose him.

He got angry.

He said,

You know,

I'm the most handsome because I'm coming from,

You know,

We normally say,

I went to that spa.

The spa doesn't make you beautiful.

Look at this symbolic story 3000 years ago and how relevant it is.

Anyhow,

Narada said,

Wait to the girl.

You made a mistake.

I'm the most beautiful man here.

I'm the most handsome prince.

I'm deserving this garland.

Compare the real life story.

You said I gave 200%.

That is why I am the most deserving.

Who told you to give 200%?

Why I started this journey?

Because you should know the story.

This is the story of our life.

I tell you frankly.

And these events and situations happen almost every day.

Some people are very contemplative in thinking.

Some people are very contemplative in thinking.

Others are okay.

So Narada said,

You know,

This is too much.

So the girl said,

Have you seen your face in the mirror?

Have you seen your face in the mirror?

First look your face in the mirror and then tell me whether you are really handsome or not.

Now we get upset because of the emotional dependence.

You know,

You look at a person in whom you are attached.

You want to possess and own.

And he or she is a human being.

Then you're hesitant how to express yourself.

That very hesitancy tells you that you are not the handsome person.

Have you seen your face in the mirror?

And when Narada saw his face into the mirror,

What happened?

I don't want to accept the reality.

He blamed Vishnu.

He cursed Vishnu.

So when I curse someone,

When I blame and complain someone,

That is the understanding,

That is the recognition that I'm suffering from the impurities at the highest level.

We will talk about the other part of the story later,

But understand this.

This happens to us every day in different situations,

In events.

So now I start cursing.

I fight with my brother.

I fight with my honey.

You see,

That is what happens in our life.

Every day when we blame someone,

We are not really blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

We are not blaming them.

That needs to be understood clearly in order for the meditation to succeed which results into an awakening.

That is the highest spirituality.

So I briefly made this story.

You have to think of it.

Contemplate and reflect.

He realized his mistake.

Narada realized his mistake.

And from the next session I will talk about what Narada said,

What happened to him,

How he realized.

That was his teaching.

So you see in this story we had likes and dislikes.

Dislike of the Vishnu.

Attachment and detachment.

So he wanted to get detached from because his mind was thinking I am not as handsome as Narada.

Others are.

Jealousy and the hatred element is also there.

The commander in chief,

The ego element is also there.

You see the reality status given to the world is also present in this story.

So we may say that you know I am okay.

I am okay.

Bill Gates is okay because he doesn't need anything.

He is one of the richest guys.

He has all the means available.

So at not at maybe you can say at a lower level we have all the means available.

We can buy the clothes that we want.

We can eat the food in a restaurant.

Especially it is very easy in USA.

So the mind is colored by the projections.

And the ignorance all the time.

One hour of meditation will not be sufficient.

I have to live my life consciously.

How relevant the story of Narada.

But how much relevant the masses and the teaching of the Narada.

Then the Narada became one of the great masters.

He has written a text like Patanjali Yuga Sutra which is known as Narada Bhakti Sutra for emotional freedom.

What exactly is the emotional freedom?

Where is the last message?

We have to learn from our experiences.

If you get upset today in the morning,

In the evening you contemplate and reflect.

What happened wrong?

Raise your bar of awareness.

Get rid of these impurities.

Have that cognitive ability to suppress your anger.

And then you can get rid of the impurities.

Get rid of these impurities.

Have that cognitive ability to succeed in meditation.

What do you mean by success in meditation?

24 by 7.

What is that state?

That state is known as awakening.

Awakening is not located in the Himalayas.

Not present in the most beautiful people.

It is present in everyone.

Everyone is most beautiful.

We will talk about Narada later.

Close your eyes.

What Narada has to do in our life.

Now he has to do everything in our life.

Eyes are closed.

No stress and struggle.

What is that?

I love you all.

Don't tell me I am a monkey.

No,

I am not saying that.

With due respect.

I love you all.

Any point of stress and struggle has to do with the monkey face.

Representative.

Understand that.

So you are comfortable.

Stress.

Being comfortable means what?

Rise in awareness.

Physical awareness.

Sensation,

Comfort and steadiness.

I repeated in the last session.

So I believe you all know.

And then rise in awareness is the space.

Whereas the space is an objectless state.

And that is why the space is awareness.

And awareness is space.

Your living room is full of hundreds of articles.

Can you still recognize the space?

Can you still recognize the space?

In spite of the presence of all the articles.

Answer is yes.

You are always in comfort.

Same way.

In spite of all the wandering thoughts.

Can you recognize that space?

That space is recognized with a higher level of awareness.

These thoughts do not disturb you.

They are not disturbing you.

They are not disturbing you.

They are not disturbing you.

They are not disturbing you.

They are not disturbing you.

They are not disturbing you.

These thoughts do not disturb you.

Because you know they belong to the likes and dislikes pertaining to an object.

What do you mean?

Even if I have all the thoughts?

Yes.

That is what is being carefree,

My friend.

So intellectual curiosity and intellectual understanding does not help us.

The intellect cannot believe.

How can you say there is an emptiness in the presence of a thought?

Now do you understand the fault that we make in our journey of the meditation?

I believe you all have understood.

I believe you all have understood.

We don't waste time.

We return to the mantra.

Let everyone be happy.

Now what exactly we are doing?

We want a cognitive ability and a conviction that we are of the nature of happiness and I am a living being.

So every living being is of the nature of the happiness.

Do you see where the jealousy and hatred will go?

I'm just implanting a very deeper understanding of these mantras.

If we keep on doing it all the time during the day,

You are meeting someone and you get attracted.

The monkey face will disappear.

Mantra.

Cognitive.

It's all about awareness,

My friends.

Nothing more than that.

Sarveshamshanthir bhavatu.

Sarveshamshanthir bhavatu.

Sarveshamshanthir bhavatu.

Sarveshamshanthir bhavatu.

Sarveshamshanthir bhavatu.

Let there be peace for all.

Means peace is my essential nature.

When I go out and I see my neighbor's home,

I get upset.

Monkey face.

I'm just reminding you so that your mind will install this message of the story completely.

Why?

You are all the time free.

You have a sense of freedom.

Sarveshamshanthir bhavatu.

Sarveshamshanthir bhavatu.

Sarveshamshanthir bhavatu.

Sarveshampurnam bhavatu.

Let everyone be completeness in self.

I think I have repeated many a times.

What do you mean by the wholeness and holiness?

Everyone is whole.

Because the existence is whole,

We need an eye of the mind to see it.

Sarveshammangalam bhavatu.

Sarveshammangalam bhavatu.

Sarveshammangalam bhavatu.

Now see the message in the story.

When you don't have any impurity in the mind,

Every moment,

Every location,

Every relation is auspicious.

Now we may have an opportunity,

An adversity.

We are talking of the mental state,

A level of awareness,

Which can bypass the monkey face.

It doesn't happen so easily and that is why we are continuing the journey.

And now is the time to look inside the forehead in the space and start breathing from the chest.

Small,

Shorter breath.

You expand your chest while inhalation and you contract your chest while exhalation.

Focus remains deep inside the forehead.

Om Shanti continues with a pause.

Keep on,

Continue the journey.

And stop it,

Do nothing.

You remember I discussed,

You recognize and accept the changes while we are learning from our experiences.

I want to tell you something a little more.

Before the practice,

During the practice and after the practice,

Your experience is the same.

You started the practice in calmness and peace.

You were calm and peaceful during the practice.

During the practice you were calm and peaceful.

After the practice,

What it means?

You don't need the breathing practice.

Until then,

Look inside the forehead in the space.

Again,

It is related to the story.

Om Shanti continues and start breathing a little longer into the belly.

Longer breath,

Squeezing of the belly during exhalation and expansion of the belly during inhalation.

Please continue.

Continue.

Because you are learning from your experiences,

You are aware of the state of the calm and the peace and this breathing step remains outside.

Until then we need to practice.

Until then we need to continue the journey to reach to that state of the spiritual consciousness.

Everything is so logically explained.

Stop this,

Do nothing,

Remain as you are.

Again,

I'm saying recognize and accept the changes and at the same time,

You recognize before,

During and after changes there.

Yes,

It means we need to continue.

You are refuting your own stand.

Yes,

I have to refute it.

What I'm refuting?

I'm refuting the lower consciousness,

My friends.

I'm not refuting what I said.

Now,

Om Shanti continues in the space inside the forehead and combine both the breath,

Belly and the chest.

That is the cognitive ability.

Cognitive,

Cognition means the knowledge.

The knowledge never changes.

My friend,

Knowledge remains the same.

It never changes.

David will remain David.

Now,

For example,

Knowledge of an object does not change.

So the knowledge of our real nature will not change.

That is why before,

During and after.

At the beginning of very early days,

I used to say it,

But now I'm explaining the meaning of it.

Long deep and hissing breath.

And stop this first thing,

Recognize,

Accept the changes the mind is experiencing,

How it helps.

I am learning from the experiences.

I'm learning from the experiences of the vision and the colors,

The body expansion or the contract and millions of other experiences.

And then we added before,

During,

The after.

So before the practice,

That state was not present.

What it means then,

I am the Narada.

So now you will remember this story all the time.

I got upset with something.

Now,

Look deep inside the cave of your heart triangle.

Pointed awareness,

Moving the mind on a triangle,

Each side,

Dropping Om Shanti with a pause.

Clockwise and anti-clockwise.

When you feel,

Now you see,

Again pay attention to this point.

I always said that when you find a sink,

While moving clockwise and anti-clockwise,

You have to push the mind by singing mentally Om through the triangle deep inside the cave of your heart.

And what is the point I'm making?

Mind seemingly stops,

Seemingly it never stops.

That very experience tells you,

You are going to enter into the state of self-absorption.

So you simply say Shanti,

You are absorbed.

Now you're absorbed,

The body may give you some other sensation.

So called,

You may say disturbances,

But you are not.

Dictated by the changes in the body,

The thoughts and the mind,

Emotions and the feeling and other experiences going on because it is a kind of self-absorption,

My friend.

Oh,

Does that happen?

Yes.

Thoughts appear too far from you.

Is that so?

Yes.

And when it is too far from you,

How it can disturb you?

Tell me.

Oh,

So you are not disturbed by anything outside.

And now leave this step,

We start with the japa.

What I said,

Mind's eye,

Ear,

Tongue.

Tongue has two roles,

Tongue is a motor organ and tongue is a sensor.

So you are saying mind's tongue says Om Shanti.

Mind's skin touch that point.

And there is an instant vibration or a sensation there.

When we touch,

We feel the sensation,

Physical touch.

What is the goal of this?

To help sense organs to live within the mind.

It does not.

Or I would say it creates a kind of a separation from the world outside.

Whichever mind is given a reality status by inferiority and means of the mind.

Even if you imagine that state of awareness.

And we have a daily experience.

You talk about someone,

The image is already created in the mind.

It's not a big deal.

But here the big deal is because the mind in purity lives.

That is a big deal.

So what happens?

You live in higher awareness.

I have explained to you what is this higher awareness,

My friends.

Om Shanti.

Om Shanti.

Om Shanti.

Om Shanti.

Om.

Shanti.

Shanti.

Shanti.

Om.

Shanti.

Shanti.

Shanti.

Om.

Shanti.

Shanti.

Shanti.

Bring your mind on the right hand.

Your mind on the left hand.

Lift your Buddha palms.

Place it on your eyes.

Open the eyes inside.

Know your experiences and bring the hands down.

We'll share our experiences if you have any questions.

You can also ask.

How are you,

Stephen?

I'm good.

Thank you.

Thank you for that.

Meditation is very fast.

Pretty much effortless.

I'm very at peace right now.

The one thing I did notice is that when we started the Sarvesham and we were focused in on me,

On my forehead,

Before we could get to when we made the transition to the first breathing,

The short breathing,

It was in this very expansive space.

And it was as if I was moving through the space.

And you kept talking about,

Again,

Focusing on the forehead.

And it was as if I couldn't get the breathing started because it was this sense that I was in the dark space,

Call it a hallway,

A pathway or somewhere.

And it was like I needed to pull myself back from the depth of that space in order to come back to my forehead so I could start breathing.

And it was almost like I was challenged through the whole breathing that I wanted to go into the space,

But I had to stay back in order to focus on you.

And then I was gone by the time the third breathing came up.

And I heard the Om Shanti.

So it was great.

Thank you.

Beautiful.

What he is saying,

I'm translating into today's lesson,

Is that the time comes,

You jump into the same state the moment you want to start the breathing.

And you find there is no need of it.

And you still do it for the sake of purifying the mind.

You jumped into the higher state.

So what he was indicating that his mind went back into the space again as if there is no need to breathe.

That is what I discussed.

That's a beautiful point we have to remember.

We have to understand.

How are you,

David and Jay?

Great.

Thank you.

Yeah,

Very good.

Peaceful,

Slow,

But yet fast meditation.

The one observation I had is during the triangle it was on breathing in an expansive indigo color and then breathing out it sort of disbanded throughout the entire triangle.

Which is kind of interesting.

But it was very calm,

Peaceful.

Very calm indeed.

Yes,

Indigo color.

We'll talk about that series also.

So whenever we have those visions of colors,

The mind transitions into a higher state.

That's the state of the consciousness.

So that we will take up later.

Beautiful.

How are you,

Jerry?

Sir,

I'm good.

Thank you.

It was interesting because I was aware of the mind and the body being very tired.

Yeah.

But unlike sleep where I'm not aware of that because I'm sleeping,

I'm fully awake and aware that my body and my mind wants to sleep,

But it doesn't.

Yeah,

Yeah,

Yeah.

It doesn't.

Yes.

So it's a very interesting thing.

So that's where my meditation was.

When we transition into the higher state,

These experiences comes and goes,

Comes and goes.

Yesterday my honey wanted me to watch.

There is some dancer program is there.

And she was saying how beautiful she is dancing.

So what happened to the mind at the same time?

I saw the object of dancing.

Then I was aware of the mind.

Then I was aware behind it.

So that the entire during the time I was watching,

Someone was totally detached from that act of dancing.

A total dispassion was there.

So what happens in that state of dispassion?

I recognize the joy was coming out from inside and expressing itself outside in the form of that act.

I believe you have understood.

How are you,

Dennis?

Nobody is talking about this.

I'm fine.

During the breathing practice,

I realized that it does make a difference.

My state of the mind is different before and after the practice.

In a sense that the clarity is higher.

What you call natural focus is better after the breathing practice.

But during the rest of the practice,

After the breathing,

I found that the mind was very compliant and submissive.

It didn't require any effort to be fully aware of the practice.

I was not disturbed by anything at all.

And the mind was clear throughout the practice.

It was a very,

Very distinct practice today.

Beautiful,

Beautiful.

That explains the principle I have taught a few times.

Remember this and contemplate.

I'm asking everyone.

Desire is the impurity of prana,

The life force.

Where?

In the mind.

Means what?

In the mind,

When this very subtle vibrations is the prana,

That takes the shape of a thought.

That thought contains the element of the impurity.

And when we do that breathing practice,

That is why we say breathing practice is a purifier of the mind.

What is the purifier?

I got more calmness.

I live into those thoughts which are not impacted by the impurity.

How are you,

Brandy?

I'm good,

Thank you.

I like that idea of the breath being like I like to clean.

So I like to clean my mind.

And I also today was aware of what was going on in the body as separate from my practice.

So I mean,

I kind of had to stay focused for that.

But it was a nice separation.

Beautiful,

Beautiful,

Brandy.

But what I'm conveying at present,

We experienced by the breathing practice,

As Dennis and you have said.

The time,

What exactly is the impurity and the purity of the mind?

Simply we switch on from the lower to the higher awareness.

For example,

You have been hating someone and another guy comes to you and says,

You know what you are talking about,

Why you hate that guy.

He is all praise for you.

He has all appreciation for you.

Do you need to do the breathing practice to purify the mind?

I'm just wondering,

Understand that point of awareness.

It does not mean that we should not do the practice now.

But we will be watchful.

The time should come when you already live into that higher awareness.

Will you still do the breathing?

That is the point I'm making.

How are you Sameer?

Sir,

Practice was very good today.

This Om Shanti was very loud,

Very clear today.

It was hitting very hard in my mind today.

Om Shanti was very clear and I was not disturbed with anything.

It was only Om Shanti going on in my mind.

Beautiful.

I want to say one thing because you all shared that experience.

As the time comes when you are doing Om Shanti,

Your mind will experience as if it is extremely loud.

In that loudness of Om Shanti,

All the other thoughts dissolve.

That experience never happened to anyone before that.

So that is another point.

It may happen if you are doing the practice regularly and someday you find that Om Shanti is so loud.

It means,

Yes,

We are changing.

How are you Sam?

Good.

The meditation was,

I would describe it as extensive.

I felt the space getting bigger.

I feel like I am doing a good job of what we talked about last week,

Which is getting involved in a routine of habits.

Okay,

Good.

Taking good care of yourself.

Yes,

That is very good.

And that is how expensive,

Obviously,

It means that we moved into a higher awareness.

How are you,

Weber?

We have one more.

Thank you,

Sir.

Sir,

I am good.

Practice was calm and peaceful.

There is some sensation happening over here in the forehead.

That was there.

But I could really connect to the story.

There have been times that happened to me that I say that I know this and I know this.

And every moment something comes up and I miss out and something is happening.

So I really connect to the story today.

Wonderful.

Now you know the real meaning of the story.

You have heard the story many a times.

No,

No.

Not the story.

I have not heard the story.

I am hearing it for the first time.

It is just that I could be able to connect to it.

Connect to it.

I say something that I understood something and then some test happens to me.

Like some situation comes and I miss out that situation.

I react and something happens.

So I am able to connect to that.

You see,

Vavavin,

To all of us,

Including me,

The moment we recognize,

You know,

The entire life,

You can say the everyday life since the waking state until we sleep.

It is like a drama.

And we have many plots.

Every event,

No,

There are small plots and big plots.

And there you can recognize what is happening.

That is another message of the story.

You will be surprised that Purana,

There are 18 Purana.

And there are more than 10,

000 stories.

And every story represents.

Sometimes it represents what is this awakening.

Sometimes it represents that how we get caught into this world of delusion.

And you see that 18 Puranas.

Yes,

More than 400,

000 verses.

I have not read completely.

I've read,

You know,

Only one.

I'll show you how bigger the text is.

How are you,

Kristina?

I'm well,

Thank you.

I felt by the end a complete detachment from my body,

My thoughts,

My mind,

An expansive awareness almost out into the world,

The universe.

Universe.

Beautiful.

Yes,

Rightly said that when we have complete detachment.

I'm sitting in a room,

So I'm completely detached with the room,

The monitor,

You people,

The other articles.

What is left?

What is left is the pure awareness.

So now question comes,

Why I was not aware before,

Dennis,

Why I was not aware before of the same space which was also present.

Why I was not aware.

So what is that meaning that what Sam said,

Expensive meditation.

I saw the space.

I was in the state of dispassion.

It is here and now that real self can never go anywhere.

It is because of the real self.

That gives the consciousness to the mind and the mind gives the consciousness to the sense organ and the sense organ perceive the world and from there the journey of the impurity starts.

So we have to reach to a state for another 30 to 40 minutes of the practice that we do every every in every session.

We simply do nothing.

We are just sitting.

And it is there.

It happens.

What is that indicates?

It indicates awakening.

So another message that you just talk,

You just hear about,

You repeat that story.

Am I Narada?

But you will appreciate because once we understand that how Narada guided the 14 steps of purity of the mind.

Then you have to compare which Narada?

Narada number one or two?

Narada number one.

No,

No,

Two only.

Only two.

So that is why he said I'm only Narada number two means I have reached to the success in meditation and then see what happened.

So I have to learn from our experiences.

That is all.

Thank you very much.

We'll meet again in the next lesson.

Thank you.

Today I look like Narada.
