Transcript
So welcome again.
In this series,
The very first topic we covered,
What is a natural state of the mind?
Natural state of the mind is highest state of meditation,
The highest state of meditation or mindfulness,
Where the person has nothing to complain about himself or the world outside,
Because he has already transcended the mind.
There I explained you couple of different states in which the person lives.
Last week we covered who destroys the natural state of the mind.
Do you remember?
Did you practice and did you listen?
We understood this psychology of desire.
Now the third natural question comes,
How to begin dropping that instinctive,
Impulsive,
In the habitual mind to empty it.
We have trillions of thought patterns and we are seeking emptiness of the mind.
The goal is to discover our real nature.
We should know,
Understand and practice.
That is what the Eastern wisdom is.
So that goes by four steps.
First step,
I do not know,
Let me know it.
Second,
Do not start thinking of a magic,
Instant solution and mysticism,
Because that will take you to hallucinative experiences.
And once you start living with these hallucinative experiences,
I have seen the people have destroyed their life and they have destroyed the lives of others.
The first step is,
I do not know,
Let me know it.
Second is,
I do not understand,
Let me understand it.
So we have question and answer,
Why we want to understand,
Why we should understand.
Because if the intellect does not have the clarity and a conviction and it is not free from the doubt,
Then the journey will fail.
Then third is,
I do not experience,
So let me practice it.
So when you practice,
You start experiencing,
You have variety of experiences in the life.
Fourth is,
When you do the practice,
You say,
No,
I still do not find the chains in my day to day life.
So that fourth step,
We go very deeply into the mind,
The functioning of the mind and discover what are the obstacles there.
We remove those obstacles.
So when you remove those obstacles,
The journey becomes a joy of cautious living.
I have talked about this many times.
I don't see the videos of all.
So what happens now?
How to bring all the four steps together in 24 by seven,
Without disturbing anything outside.
So today's lesson is very important in a sense,
Provided you understand it and you start the journey.
Why?
Because then gradually you become a seeker,
And a seeker never fails.
First thing,
The journey is unknown.
Part is also unknown.
That is why we must learn and study.
We must acquire the knowledge of the Eastern wisdom so that the path becomes known and the journey also becomes known.
Today's lesson aims at how that knowledge enters into the head with the clarity and conviction,
And then it descends down into the heart.
If it does not descends down into the heart,
One does not become a seeker.
And if you are not a seeker,
Let the time come,
There is always a failure,
Frustration.
Then you will start blaming,
Complaining,
Reacting against this beard guy.
He doesn't know.
Ask yourself,
Do you know?
Do you know then why you are blaming and complaining others?
Going slowly.
Let me start with one thing.
Look at the sense and the motor organ.
The tongue is a sense organ and the motor organ.
You can restrain it,
You can control it,
Right?
You can close your eyes and stop seeing the word outside.
It may be in your mind,
But can you control your ears?
Whatever is happening around the sound and the noise,
You are listening.
You cannot prevent listening.
Do you see that?
You cannot prevent listening.
Is Laura is there?
No,
Okay.
So,
First step.
Listen to know and understand the principles.
Now I tell you a small,
It's not a big secret.
For us,
It's a small secret.
The moment you start listening,
These principles put your tongue on the upper palate.
That will not only control your speech outside,
But also it will prevent unnecessary thoughts.
Anytime when you are listening,
Every week and week and week,
It will minimize the impact of habitual,
Impulsive and instinctive mind.
Do you remember we are covering all the four steps?
How to bring all the four steps to become a seeker and the seeker never fails.
As long as you are listening,
Just keep the tongue on the upper palate listening.
So you are a listener at present.
That will help you to understand these principles clearly.
Now,
Second step.
You are not a listener.
You are a speaker in your daily life.
We communicate with the people,
Our relations,
Our friends,
Our boss,
Our subordinates,
Our children,
Our parents.
Speak when there is a listener before you.
Never hesitate to speak about these principles in your daily life,
Whatever you have learned.
Mentally refine your thought and speak about it.
But forget,
Never act as a teacher,
But as a friend.
When living with the near and the dear ones and they are ready to listen,
Instead of a gossip,
You see that refining your thoughts with those principles,
Start speaking about it.
I've been doing the practice,
I find little calmness.
Can we find the calmness within ourselves instead of a gossip?
When living with the near and the dear ones,
That is the second step.
First,
You are a listener.
Second,
You are a speaker.
Never stop speaking whenever you have an opportunity.
But when the mind stops answering,
You have doubt and contemplate.
Do not try to create your own opinion.
That is why you see that I always refer the principles and the teachings of the masters.
That is the way it should work.
You know,
If I have to repair my iPhone,
The principle of electronics should work.
So check your mind.
First is listener,
Contemplate and reflect.
Second,
Contemplation and reflection because I do not understand.
So when you become a seeker and apply these principles in your daily life,
You become a speaker,
Means you understand,
That's why you are speaking.
So we,
I and Tanya were discussing something different before the beginning of a session,
Before the beginning of a session.
So understand that.
Don't lose any opportunity to speak about it.
Why?
It will prevent your impulsive,
Instinctive and the habitual mind.
What the habitual mind says,
Ah,
No,
My honey is not ready to listen.
He or she is not interested.
That builds your own ego.
That you see,
I'm a great meditator.
Look at her right here.
They are not meditator.
Do you understand that part?
But it doesn't prevent you,
It should not prevent you from speaking.
If you do not set an example in your life and you constantly blame and you keep yourself at a superior level,
From even the near and the dear ones,
You're not going to change.
I have seen a lot of people who have been with me for 10,
15 years.
There is no change.
They return back to the same old habit,
Same impulsive,
Same instinctive,
Same habitual,
Same reactive.
Now,
Third aspect.
There are moments when you are neither a listener,
Nor a speaker,
What you should do.
What should you do?
Meditate.
Recall those principles.
Recall those principles.
Repeat those principles in your,
Or you have a time,
Practice it.
You will be amazed within a week once you become aware I'm not a speaker and a listener,
Why my mind is thinking unnecessary,
Stupid things.
I have a time.
You will be amazed that you will find more time to meditate.
I'm not saying interfere any activity what you are doing outside.
Remember,
First,
You are a listener.
Second,
You are a speaker.
Third,
You are neither a speaker,
Nor a listener.
The time is there.
What happens in those moments?
Impulsive thoughts,
Habitual thoughts,
Recalling the pain and the pleasure,
Recalling those habits of reaction.
Are you getting it?
Do you understand that?
You are not a listener,
Not a speaker.
Become aware of it.
Become aware of it.
Fourth one.
Have you been a bathroom singer?
Sometime,
Sometime we start singing some song.
Do you remember that?
Everyone,
Everyone has that experience.
You know,
That is the habitual mind which has accumulated lot of impressions.
Replace it with singing these principles and you see the life will change in a week.
You will never be the same person again.
Are you getting it?
Yeah,
Sitting in a bathroom,
The mind is not working there.
Recall those principles.
You are taking a shower,
Recall those principles.
Are you getting it?
Four principles must be understood.
This is a very,
I'm making the things clear that all the four principles can be applied in daily life.
You know,
Sam was,
We were discussing last week with Sam that sense of anxiety was there because he has to appear in interview in those times.
When you recall those principles,
The mind will remain calm.
You already have the knowledge.
You already know that is why you are appearing in interview.
The mind will follow the right path.
Because I'm laying a foundation in this series,
Only a seeker will succeed.
You may listen to me,
You may read the text,
But internally if you are not a seeker,
Nothing will happen.
Nothing will happen.
That is why I have added one portion,
One step in the practice of singing,
Listening in this meditation.
How those four steps works?
Lara,
I don't see you.
So what is that?
When I say I love you,
I have to act.
Do you ever say that you love yourself?
It is a fact.
We'd never say I love myself.
And when we say I love myself,
It is the mind that is reacting and habitual.
So all these four steps,
Four points can be easily applied in day to day activities and life.
So this is the principle I discussed about it.
So I will refer you,
I will refer some of the verses from the great master Krishna.
Never shy applying these principles.
I told you again and again,
You will discover the guy in front of you is reacting and you are a listener.
Put the tongue,
It will prevent you reacting.
And it will raise your awareness.
Those who have joined me later so they can listen to this talk.
So now let us see how Krishna,
The great master explains.
Tasmati yasyamahabahu nirgrahataani sarvasa indriyani indriya abhairtha tasyaprajna abhrtasthita.
I have to invoke intellect in living my day to day life.
I should not get carried away by the habit,
By the impulse and the instinct.
It will take some time,
But it will happen.
Are you understanding?
It will take some time following the four points,
Which is the greatest of the three sense organs,
Mind and the intellect.
It is the intellect that is the greatest.
And the instinct and the impulsive and the habits lives in all the three senses,
Mind,
Intellect.
So the first four points we covered with reference to the sense organs and the mind and this aspect,
Intellect.
I should invoke the intellect.
Remember the four points.
Am I a listener?
Am I a speaker?
I'm neither the speaker or a listener and I'm doing my daily chores.
Let me introduce those principles and see what happens in life.
The life is going to change.
It must change.
It has changed the lives of millions.
So the master says,
Intellect is very near to yourself.
The senses and the mind are too far.
Use your intellect.
We can use the intellect only when there is a calm and relaxation,
When there is a sincerity,
Commitment and dedication to change myself,
To change my life.
That makes you a seeker.
That makes you a seeker.
One more aspect the Krishna says,
You know the people normally misunderstand this.
What he says,
Ya nisha sarva bhuta anam tasyam jagrati sayami.
So when the whole world is sleeping,
The meditator remains awake.
That is the literal meaning.
Ya siyam jagrati bhuta ani sa ani sha pasyate humani.
The monk and sages and the master remains awake.
Those who succeed in meditation and the entire world sleeps.
You see that?
You may have certain confusion what it means.
The meditator never sleeps.
That is not the point.
So now understand and then we'll start our journey.
Waking state of a non-meditator.
Waking state of a non-meditator.
What is that waking state of a non-meditator?
He lives with the likes,
Dislikes,
Conflicts,
Confusion,
Stress,
Suffering,
So that the mind becomes impulsive,
Instinctive,
And habitual.
Are you getting it?
That is the meaning.
And the waking state for a meditator?
The moment you wake up in the morning,
First thing your mind,
What happens?
The first thing your mind lays beyond all these dualities and opposites.
You are living in freedom,
Happiness,
And wisdom.
That is the meaning.
Meditator never sleeps in a waking state.
So meditator never sleeps in a waking state means what?
That meditator never allows the mind to go by the habit,
Instinct,
Impulse.
And the non-meditator always sleeps.
Intellect sleeps in the world.
Why?
He has taken for granted.
This is the way I need to work.
Oh my honey,
I know,
My honey,
I know.
Nothing to be.
You see habitual mind?
Have you seen the habitual mind?
I'm always happy if the couple attends the program.
So you can become a speaker,
You can become a listener,
And you know this is the time neither speaker nor listener.
It hastens the process of your evolution.
Except Sam.
You know when you get married.
But it doesn't mean that you are going to push your honey.
If they are not ready,
Don't push.
You have to make your own journey.
Do you understand that I made it clear?
Krishna says non-meditator always sleeps.
So when he sleeps,
Then what he does?
Blame,
Complain,
Reaction,
Habit,
Instinct.
See that.
And you allow the intellect to work on it by those four steps.
So who is awakened as a seeker?
One who lives in the world,
But beyond the world in dispassion.
Who is not living in attachment and detachment.
He realizes,
No,
No,
No,
It is not the time.
And who is sleeping?
Not following this path of the Shreyas.
Totally committed to praise means what I like,
What is pleasant to me is everything in my life.
Can we call them wise?
No.
Non seekers,
Non-meditators,
Remain awake with the pleasure seeking mind.
And just do the reverse.
That is the journey of,
It doesn't mean,
I'm not saying that you have to stop working what you are doing in your daily life.
Do as it is.
Perform all the activities.
Bring the inner chains in your life.
Bring the inner chains in life.
What will happen?
Who causes all these thought patterns?
Our habitual mind,
Instinctive mind,
Impulsive mind.
See that.
What is the goal?
Empty the mind of mindfulness.
It's a very important journey because the last series I have seen a lot of people are on the verge of becoming a seeker.
So I thought I should start this.
So listen to it again and again as a listener.
Apply them as a speaker whenever the opportunity comes.
And opportunity is everywhere.
I am stressed.
Someone says,
You have to speak.
Neither speaker nor a listener.
But don't pose yourself as a teacher.
You will fail.
Express your ideas.
What you are learning,
What you are experiencing.
The next session will be about the Patanjali Yug Sutra.
A brief introduction that how this sutra is written.
And what sutra conveys,
What sutra contains.
What sutra contains.
And how sutra is composed.
So once you are clear about it and you keep yourself in your mind,
Oh this is the way I have to learn this sutra.
And if there is,
I did not cover those aspect.
You are always ready.
You are always welcome to ask any question to make the things clear to you.
Did you get it?
I'm repeating and then we'll start with tongue.
You can control.
Eyes,
You can control.
Like close my eyes,
I don't see anyone.
Ears,
No.
So now see that how they have created the principle.
Shravanam,
Listening to the principles.
Why to listen to these principles?
Because we don't,
We have not studied the knowledge of self discovery in the world outside.
So I must get the knowledge.
Are you getting it?
Listener,
Speaker.
Start applying those principles in your daily life.
Why?
When you express those principles,
The mind will accumulate these thoughts and that will give a break to the trillions of the thoughts that is not required.
Third,
Neither speaker nor a listener.
Enjoy yourself.
Fourth,
Bathroom singing.
I'm just giving him.
Oh,
You're sitting.
You're driving.
Apply those principles.
Oh,
Let me sing.
Peace is my essential nature.
Mind why you are crazy.
Now the red light has come.
I have not to hammer the steering.
I have to remain calm.
Are you listening?
Are you getting it?
You know,
The seeker transforms his entire life.
So let us start our practice,
Sharing our experiences.
You're always open to ask me any question.
Eyes are closed.
Eyes are closed.
Looking at the body.
Looking at the body.
And looking inside the head,
Become aware of a point in the space.
Become aware of a point in the space and experience a spark of calmness is there.
Now look at the neck joint.
So you look at the neck joint.
You feel and experience the sensation being comfortable and steadiness.
Shoulder joints.
Sensation being comfortable and steadiness.
Hip joint sensation being comfortable and steadiness.
The entire body from the top of the head to the toes.
Sensation being comfortable and steadiness.
Being carefree,
We already know how to be carefree,
But we leave that being carefree for the time being.
Now,
Based on what we discussed,
We will recite mentally the four line verse,
Which is also known as Shanti Mantra.
So see that how it goes.
First is singing and listening.
What you are singing,
You are listening inside.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Sing,
You should sing mentally with me.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
So in the beginning,
Sometime the mind breaks the listening.
It says,
No,
I don't understand.
See the instinctive mind?
We are going there.
The second stage is singing,
Listening and the meaning.
The meaning of this line is,
Let there be a well being everywhere to every being on the earth.
Now,
In the second stage,
Singing,
Listening and the meaning should go together.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Now in the third stage,
Singing,
Listening,
Meaning,
Knowledge and wisdom.
What is wisdom?
Applied knowledge.
What is the meaning of the well being?
So you become aware of yourself,
Then the near and the dear ones and the entire world as if the well being is all pervading.
I'll tell you the secret as we continue the journey of this meditation practice.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Well being everywhere.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Now the second line.
So second line,
We follow the same three states.
Working on the mind,
Singing and listening is the first stage.
Singing and listening.
Need not to worry what is the meaning.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Three times singing,
Listening and meaning.
What is the meaning?
Let the peace be everywhere.
For the mind,
Mind says peace is sometime,
Peace is not other time.
What Eastern wisdom says peace is everywhere all the time.
It is the essential nature of the existence.
I covered both the meaning and the wisdom also,
But we will go with the meaning.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
So you have to change that recitation also.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Peace is my essential nature.
If it is my essential nature,
I did not create it.
It is the essential nature of every being,
Everything on this earth.
You see,
The mind exclaims with joy.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
See the beauty.
It takes some time,
Few practices and the third line singing and listening.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Singing,
Listening and meaning.
Meaning is there is completeness.
Your house exists for itself,
You exist for yourself,
Your honey exists for himself and herself.
Every individual is existing for oneself is the sense of completeness.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
Sari vishamsvastir bhavatuh.
And what is that light knowledge?
When I experience the sense of completeness in the mind,
Blame,
Complain,
Reaction,
Game stops.
The mind is that is running outside to fill that sense of incompleteness is gone.
All the thought pattern are gone.
What happens?
Sari visham purnam bhavatuh.
It should go deep inside your mind.
Sari visham purnam bhavatuh.
Sari visham purnam bhavatuh.
Sari visham purnam bhavatuh.
Last fourth line,
Singing and listening.
Do you remember?
Sari visham mangalam bhavatuh.
Sari visham mangalam bhavatuh.
Sari visham mangalam bhavatuh.
We don't want meaning in the first stage.
Second stage,
Meaning,
Mangalam,
Auspicious moment.
You are in auspicious moment as a seeker.
I'm in the auspicious moment as a teacher and the whole environment,
The world outside is in auspicious moment.
Sari visham mangalam bhavatuh.
Sari visham,
You're also singing.
Sari visham mangalam bhavatuh.
Sari visham mangalam bhavatuh.
Now the applied wisdom.
What is the message here?
That I should keep aside my ego while teaching.
You should keep aside your ego while listening as a seeker.
What happens?
We meet together at a much higher level.
Sari visham mangalam bhavatuh.
Sari visham mangalam bhavatuh.
Sari visham mangalam bhavatuh.
And recite in your mind.
Aum Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
We don't lose that moment.
Start breathing deep,
Silent and slow.
Body is steady.
Deep,
Silent,
Slow breath is your car.
Mind is the driver and the space inside the body is the highway.
Start moving the mind with the breath inside the right arm.
As you inhale,
The mind is moving with the breath inside the right arm from the shoulder to the fingertips and the exhalation from the fingertips to the shoulder.
Shoulder,
We are going into a deeper meditation step by step.
Now inside the left arm.
Inside the right leg as you inhale.
Exhale,
Mind moves inside the right leg from the right side of the waist to the toes,
Looking,
Moving the mind on the highway of the space.
And when you exhale,
The mind moves from the toes to the right side of the waist.
We all are consciously undertaking a journey.
You are conscious what you are doing and I'm conscious what I'm giving to you.
No chance of any hallucination,
Imagination.
That's why I say all my practices are always safe,
Provided you're aware of the journey.
And now I'm moving the mind inside the left leg.
I never give you hope.
I give you everything here and now.
Now inside the spine.
Now inside the spine.
Now leave this step also.
And now see with the knowledge practice how we go deeper.
Look at the head and the neck.
What is outside the head and the neck?
How do you recognize the space?
Can you become aware of the space all around the head and the neck?
Yes.
Then the mind recognizes the head and the neck as a shape and then the sensation.
So just remember the three S.
Space,
Outside,
Shape,
Sensation.
Right arm,
Become aware of the space all around the head and the neck.
Sorry,
Become aware of the space all around the right arm as if the cylindrical space houses the right arm.
Then the shape,
Then the sensation.
This part of the meditation is very popular in Eastern Europe where I used to go every year.
It is so simple and it is very deep.
This is a part of the Shanti meditation.
This is a part of the Shanti meditation.
So I have included that.
Now first go take the mind on the left arm,
Space all around.
Shape of the left arm.
That triggers the sensation.
I'll tell you why.
And you have a sensation.
So three experiences,
The space,
Shape,
Sensation.
Sensation,
Right arm,
The rib cage.
Look at the rib cage.
All around,
Space,
Shape,
Sensation.
Belly,
All around,
Space,
Which is a fact.
Shape,
It is a fact.
You feel the sensation deepens,
It is also a fact.
Principle in Hatha Yoga,
Chali vate chalam chattam nishtale nishtalam bhavir.
Where the mind goes there the prana goes,
Energy goes,
There the energy goes,
Where the mind goes.
That gives you the sensation,
Not a big deal.
Right,
The belly all around.
Space,
Shape of the belly,
Sensation.
It's all in all these practice.
Right leg,
Outside is the space.
Shape,
Sensation.
Left leg,
Space all around.
Shape,
Sensation.
As long as we consciously know the mind is outside,
We will deal with this mind from outside.
The entire body.
What is?
Find out the space housing this body.
Shape of the body,
Sensation.
Space,
Shape and the sensation.
Three S,
Now we'll go for four S.
Just to remember.
Look at the head and the neck.
Now the magic will happen.
Look at the head and the neck.
What is outside?
You already know.
Previous experience space,
Shape,
Sensation and stillness.
What is the magic?
It is the stillness in the body.
It is not the stillness of the body.
Stillness of the body can never happen.
What is always still can be realized as stillness and that stillness comes from our real nature.
Right arm.
Previous experience space,
Shape,
Sensation and stillness.
What is S now?
Left arm,
Space,
Shape,
Sensation that deepens and stillness.
You see,
We are not doing anything.
We recognize,
We explore.
It is a knowledge practice.
The rib cage.
So we say mind,
You are outside,
No worries.
Space,
Shape,
Sensation,
Space.
No worries,
Space,
Shape,
Sensation and stillness.
I'm reminding you.
It is the stillness in the body.
It is not the stillness of the body.
Stillness of the body.
Belly,
Space,
Shape,
Sensation,
Stillness.
Right leg,
Outside.
Left leg,
Outside.
Space,
Shape,
Sensation,
Stillness.
You see that mine is naturally focused.
We need not to focus.
We need not to make an effort.
Left leg,
Outside.
Shape,
Sensation,
Stillness.
Entire body.
Space all around.
It is known as a physical space.
Shape,
Sensation and stillness.
It is the part of the mental space.
In that state,
There are five steps of the Shanti Meditation.
We have done two today.
And now,
Without any help of the breath,
Move the mind from the crown of the head to the belly button in freedom.
And from the belly button to the crown of the head.
Dropping Om,
Rising Om.
The mind casually goes to the crown of the head and it is dropping,
Reaches to the belly button.
You are singing mentally,
Om.
It is rising from the belly button to the crown of the head in the spine.
The path seems clear.
But we are exploring the third space.
The space of the Self.
The space of the Self.
Now,
From the crown of the head to the heart,
Mind moves from the crown of the head to the heart,
Dropping Om.
Om becomes shorter.
Yes,
No need to make any effort.
From the heart it goes to the crown of the head,
My friends.
Beautiful.
Remember,
The seeker always succeeds.
Succeeds.
Now,
The Om you drop from the crown of the head to,
Inside the forehead,
Any point in the forehead.
We have 300 points on the forehead.
So you need not to deliberately focus at the eyebrow center.
Just dropping with the Om.
Now,
From the crown of the head to the heart,
The eyebrow center,
Just dropping very small Om and rising,
Om to the crown of the head.
Om.
As if a flick.
Om.
Breath is not aligned.
Then the magic happens.
Om.
Doing nothing,
Remain as you are.
See the beauty.
Om.
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
Om.
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
Om.
Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
Bring your awareness on the right hand,
Your awareness on the left hand.
Lift your Buddha palms,
Place it on your eyes,
Open the eyes inside,
Know your experiences and bring the hands down.
Two things more,
We'll share our experiences and ask me the questions to clear about today's topic.
How are you,
Stephen?
Good.
Meditation was,
How do I put it,
It was very heavy.
It was very heavy on my body.
I had points,
I mean,
I heard everything that you said.
I saw the cylinders around each of my body parts and my whole body as you discussed it and I just felt my body getting heavier and heavier and noticed at several points,
I felt like I was going to fall over.
I had no control of it,
So I was conscious yet knew,
It was just something different going on.
Different going on,
Beautiful.
That's the way to be a seeker.
Lara is eating,
So we'll take her later.
How are you,
David and Jerry?
So,
Yeah,
That was,
Well,
Firstly,
I think,
Really enjoyed the message at the beginning.
And then when you did the body parts and did the cylinder around it,
It had me for the first time,
Look not from the inside out,
But from the outside in.
Beautiful.
Which was really interesting perspective because I'm a visual designer.
And also too,
I had no concept of color,
Light,
Darkness.
I just had blank.
It was kind of almost like the computer screen that they've unplugged.
It was just blank.
Beautiful.
That's the way to be a seeker.
Let the knowledge be revealed inside in that space,
In that blankness.
Beautiful.
How are you,
Jerry?
I'm good.
It was an interesting meditation with the four S's.
I've also felt very heavy.
That's good.
And then when we moved to the next section,
I continuously started to feel lighter and lighter and lighter.
That's good.
That's really nice.
Near and far.
I'm not sure if you can see it,
But it's a little bit more light.
That's really nice.
Very good.
So we are progressing.
That's another way to be a seeker.
How are you,
My friend,
Lara?
I am good.
So the spaciousness in the arms,
I can feel that quite a bit.
I've practiced some of that before.
And then for me,
It was really interesting because my personal practice has been this week,
Traveling from the head to the heart.
And so when we got to the point where we were oming,
It was really lighting up for me because I've spent a bunch of time there this week.
So that was really nice.
Beautiful.
Yeah,
It should happen all the time.
And once we complete all the five steps of shanti meditation,
You will see a tremendous change.
How are you,
Daniel?
Thank you.
I'm fine.
I have to say that I was very concentrated and there was no single thought during the whole meditation.
Beautiful.
So I had an effort,
As you said,
It was so easy.
And also what Jerry and Steven said,
It was super heavy.
I even feel the heaviness now.
Like my body is just tired.
It was super heavy.
I'm guessing that it is kind of connected,
The fact that I was so concentrated.
Yes.
And also the action of my body was that I feel that it's super heavy.
That's a beautiful experience.
And you see that we need not to make any effort.
It goes naturally.
So in this journey,
We may have experiences of what you said,
Super heaviness or super lightness.
And the time may come when we experience as if bodylessness.
I will not say out of the body experience.
So that is the moment when the mind is now not claiming that I am not,
I am the body.
The moment the mind drops the claim I am the body,
A great magic takes place consciously.
How are you,
Sergey?
Then I will come to other two.
I agree with previous speakers,
With previous meditators.
Yeah.
It was very heavy,
Heaviness in my body.
Yes,
Yes,
Yes.
In the middle of falling asleep and coming back somewhere there,
I hear your voice,
Like room next to your voice,
And just very deep.
Just very deep.
Yeah,
In this session we all are,
If you are a seeker,
You will succeed.
Even if the teacher is crazy,
I have been telling you again and again.
Teacher doesn't matter.
And you see that,
Are you getting an answer or the question that you sent in the email,
Sergey?
Yes,
Yes.
Very good.
No,
We will not.
So how are you,
Sam?
I don't hear you.
We don't hear you.
Now?
Yeah,
Now,
Yes.
Yeah.
I'm still figuring out what that sounds like.
I don't like to be too mainstream,
But I can only describe it as the heaviness and the falling over.
I think after the last few meditations,
I've noticed after we do maybe something about that,
The inside singing,
When I'm listening to the singing,
Myself singing,
I end up just,
You know,
My body is just whatever,
And your voice is in and out,
And,
You know,
Sometimes I listen to you,
Sometimes I don't.
It's just kind of its own.
It's just its own world,
I guess,
For a while,
Until we're done.
And it's great.
It's good.
But it's a little bit different than some of the other more active ones where we were focusing on the breathing a lot of it,
And,
You know,
All of that stuff that's different,
Because it's really active and focused,
This one is more,
Yeah,
Like,
You know,
I'm away for a while.
That's a beautiful experience,
Yes.
All those parts that returns,
You return to your own word,
Is the habitual word,
Is the mechanical word,
Is the instinctive word,
Is the impulsive word,
By which we try to do our daily activities,
We perform,
And we want to succeed.
We are replacing that.
So continue the journey,
I have always been telling,
Younger should continue the journey.
And how are you Tatiana?
Yes.
Can you hear me?
You know,
It's so hard to describe,
But this time I decided not to lie on my bed,
But to sit.
Finally,
I'm sure that I was fully conscious,
But again I lost myself somewhere,
I followed your voice,
And while you were singing,
I felt as if the balloon flew air.
Yeah,
Yeah.
It was like,
I felt no happiness,
Maybe lightness,
But I'm not sure that that was lightness,
Something strange for me.
And the strangest thing was when I appeared in my 40s,
Because here was not me,
No some kind of space,
But not here.
But again,
I understand that half of meditation I did not remember.
I tried to,
While all the speakers described their feelings,
I tried to realize what was happening,
And I understand that I remember just some thoughts,
And this time there were no thoughts at all.
No thoughts,
That's so beautiful.
Yes,
You go back and you return again,
So I have seen that spark of being a seeker.
Your commitment to yourself will take you deeper.
Take you deeper,
Take you deeper.
So,
Very good.
Any question that you like to ask?
Mm-mm.
Thank you,
Guruji.
Thank you,
Tanya.
Thank you,
Everyone.
So we will meet again next week,
No,
Next time on Monday.
Saturday.
Oh,
Yeah,
Also on Saturday,
Yes.
Thank you,
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
And Lara.
Yes.
So whenever you find problem with your technology,
Call me.
Well,
But here's the problem,
Because I tried to get on from the Microsoft Meet,
From the email,
From the.
.
.
No,
No,
No,
No,
Now Meet is gone.
But here's the problem,
Because what comes to me,
I got an alert on my phone that that was what it was,
And so that's what I shared.
I don't check my.
.
.
I'm not on my computer very much throughout the day.
So now it is always from the Google Meet.
I have disbanded it because I talk to them and they don't have a solution,
So.
.
.
Okay,
So I guess because Christina keeps registering through me and then I'm sending her the wrong links every time.
So why don't you just.
.
.
I sent you her email.
Oh,
You sent me?
That good.
I'll invite her.
So should I invite her?
It's too confusing for me to try to keep on talking.
Yeah,
Yeah.
Should I invite her?
Should I invite her on Mondays and Thursdays session?
Yes,
So she's been signing up for Mondays and Thursdays.
I don't think she's been able to attend because I'm sending her the wrong links.
I sent her like ten links,
I think,
On Monday.
Did you send me that?
Huh?
Did you send me her email?
I did.
I just sent it to you.
Okay.
Christina Rosenberg,
Maybe.
Oh,
Okay.
Yes,
Yes,
Yes,
Yes.
You have sent me.
So I.
.
.
Just because it's hard for me to keep track of.
.
.
But this is going to be the link from now?
Yeah,
This is going to be the link.
Every week you will get an invitation.
So will it be the same link?
Yeah,
All,
Yeah.
It is normally the same link,
But.
.
.
It's not going to change.
Yeah,
It is not going to change,
But what happens?
Say,
Today I have invited Christina,
So sometime the Google changes that link.
So every week you get an invitation.
So sometime you need to check it.
Okay.
So is it going to come on the email,
Or is it going to come on the calendar?
Email.
I should delete what's on the calendar.
No,
I think calendar is.
.
.
Your Google calendar will always be there.
Yeah,
But the Google calendar has the Microsoft Teams.
Oh,
That you deleted.
You delete all and it will be replaced by the Google calendar.
Okay,
Because I tried for like 15 minutes trying with the meat.
