Welcome to today's meditation with Gigi Mindful Living.
Today is a very special meditation.
We will focus on breath work,
Which is an active form of meditation where you manipulate your breath the way you feel.
It's a very simple yet powerful practice and it's one of my favorite meditation practice.
We will do this meditation with some lo-fi beats,
A way I really enjoy to combine music and meditation.
So first,
Find a comfortable position.
I recommend you being seated for today's session if that's available for you.
Gently release any tension in your body.
Relax your shoulders,
Your fingers,
Your toes,
Your eyebrows,
Your lips.
Find yourself grounding on the earth beneath you.
And now,
Let's bring our awareness to our breaths.
Inhale from the nose and exhale from the mouth.
Inhale from your nose,
Exhale from your mouth.
On your next inhalation,
Try to exhale for a little bit longer,
A little bit deeper.
Feel the air flowing down to the bottom of your spine,
To your legs and to your toes.
You're doing great.
So for the first sets of our breath work today,
You will follow my guidance.
Inhale and exhale from your nose.
And just enjoy the music and enjoy your breaths.
