By letting go of thoughts and concepts, we can bond with the clear and creative energy of our awareness. The mind's openness is its empty nature, where we cannot hold on to anything. By surrendering, we connect with the source of cognition, compassion and joy.

My name is Gerald Blomau and I wrote and recorded this podcast meditation for you.

I invite you to support the project with a donation.

Enjoy.

In the midst of a universe that is constantly changing and evolving,

We long for permanence.

Everything is more fleeting than we can imagine.

The world is a process of constantly presenting itself.

Unflexible thoughts stand in stark contrast to this.

We are constantly judging,

But the values only arise and exist in our mind.

By becoming familiar with our mind,

We can gradually let go of the thoughts and judgments that are stressing us.

Then we can allow ourselves to relax and feel satisfied.

Sit comfortably and relax.

Your eyes are open or closed.

Widen your focus to a panoramic view that includes the corners of the eyes.

Allow your senses to be wide open.

Listen with your ears and your whole body,

Recognizing all the sounds around you.

How does this affect your thinking?

Feel your body,

The mood of your mind,

And the movement of your breath.

If a special sound catches your attention,

Name it.

Is it possible to remain with the sound and in the open state of awareness simultaneously?

Feel the sensations in your whole body at once.

Your face enjoys the sensation of your breath.

Feel the sensations in your whole body at once.

Your face and jaw are soft.

Your forehead smooth.

Feel the sensations in your whole body at once.

Allow your shoulders to relax and sink further.

Feel their weight and that of the arms.

Notice whether there is any tension.

Notice the abdomen moving as you breathe in and out.

Thoughts appear by themselves.

Just welcome them without following their content.

Rest in the present moment and allow everything to be as it is.

It is as if you finished something and do not yet want to start something new.

There's nothing to achieve,

Nothing to do,

No intention.

Just rest in pure being and notice how your attention expands.

Be aware of how thoughts,

Sounds,

And perceptions at the moment are being created.

Be aware of how thoughts,

Sounds,

And perceptions appear and disappear in awareness.

Feel yourself as this consciousness,

Spacious and balanced,

Awake and alive.

Awareness is as clear as if you were waking up for the first time.

Think of something.

Notice how the object and the being aware of it arise simultaneously and without effort.

Thoughts and emotions are alive.

They're movements.

As soon as we perceive them,

They melt away.

How would you describe the awareness in which they appear?

If you look inwards with a clear open focus,

The mind is wide and transparent.

It seems as if something is happening.

But when you search for it,

There is no thing to be found.

Everything that appears to us as a Everything that appears to us as a real independent object dissolves.

Everything is Subtle and into humans.

Everything that appears to us as a real,

Independent object dissolves when we search for its true identity.

This reflects the open,

Space-like quality of our experience.

We may also notice a bright,

Clear and creative energy.

This is the source of cognition,

Compassion and joy.

We may also be aware of the quality of wakefulness.

The mind is like infinite space,

Without boundaries,

Color or shape.

Because of its empty nature,

There's nothing to hold onto.

Aluminous,

Alive and clear,

Just like the sky is bright and full of love,

Well-being and confidence.

This manifests as the pulsating energy of our thoughts,

Emotions and perceptions.

Our thoughts and feelings are the natural expression of the mind's luminous clarity.

Thoughts form concepts,

A dualistic world of us and others.

Everything is changing and beyond our control.

There is nothing to hold onto.

If there are other people outside of us,

We fear that they might hurt us.

In our imagination,

We experience anxiety.

We feel alone and separate.

This suffering ends when the mind recognizes itself as part of everything.

In meditation,

We experience how everything is permeated by the luminosity of awareness.

Happiness and suffering,

They do not come from the outside,

From others.

We are responsible for creating our happiness and suffering.

This insight allows us to act confidently in everyday life.

The wisdom and compassion that we manifest calms the voice in our head.

Trusting that what happens today is okay allows us to surrender.

Words and sentences are mutually dependent.

They cannot express our deepest insight into reality.

We are neither our thoughts nor our feelings.

We are aware of them.

We interpret the world with our mind through our senses.

By accepting what is,

We can let go of our criticism of life,

We can forgive,

And allow ourselves to accept what is there.

There is nothing to achieve,

Nothing to do.

We recognize our thoughts and feelings as well as an outside form.

In every phase of life,

We have seen thoughts,

Feelings,

And objects pass by.

We were always aware of everything that happened.

Now we can step back,

Watch,

And just be.

If we forgive and stop criticizing,

We can open our heart and surrender to love.

This is the key to satisfaction,

A real home.
