Lie down and make yourself comfortable.

Let your eyes close.

Feel your whole body.

Let your body relax and your mind begin to calm down.

Begin to focus on your right hand.

Feel the palm and each finger.

Touch the index finger with the thumb.

Middle finger,

Ring finger,

Little finger,

Ring finger,

Middle finger,

Index finger.

Relax the hand.

Feel the sensations in the palm and the fingers.

Relax your right wrist,

Forearm,

Elbow,

Upper arm.

Relax the right shoulder and the whole right side of the body,

All the way down to your right ankle and foot.

Allow each toe on your right foot to let go completely.

Compare the feeling in the right and the left side of the body.

Pay your attention to your left hand.

Relax your left palm and each finger.

Touch the index finger with the thumb.

Middle finger,

Ring finger,

Little finger,

Ring finger,

Middle finger,

Index finger.

Relax the hand.

Feel the sensations in the palm and the fingers.

Relax your left wrist,

Forearm,

Elbow,

Upper arm.

Relax the left shoulder and the whole left side of the body,

All the way down to your left ankle and foot.

Allow each toe on your left foot to let go completely.

Feel the right and the left side of the body together.

Bring your awareness up to your neck and head.

Allow them to relax fully.

Feel the cool sensation on your forehead,

The sensation of the scalp,

Back of the head.

Sense your left eye,

Right eye.

Feel the sensation in both eyes at the same time.

The whole head is at rest,

At ease.

Body breathing,

Abdomen soft,

Heartbeat steady.

With each exhalation let go.

Welcome the felt sense of well-being in the entire body.

Feel at ease.

With each exhalation,

Letting go.

Heaviness.

Welcome the sense of well-being in the whole body.

Feet,

Legs,

Torso,

Hands,

Arms,

Head,

Face,

Mouth,

Jaw.

The whole body is at ease.

Focus on the sensation of being in this body.

Feel the heavy body in which you live.

Feel its weight and solidity.

Feel gravity holding the body down.

Feel the sensation of the entire body inside and the surface of the body outside.

Feel the whole body inside and outside.

The entire body is relaxed,

Heavy,

At ease.

Allow your senses to open to the environment around you.

Hear the sounds.

Feel the sensation of air touching your skin.

The sensation of your body being supported.

Welcome your body breathing by itself.

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your abdomen.

Allow it to soften.

With each rise,

Rise and fall.

Feel yourself entering into the flow of each breath.

Like a raft floating on a stream of sensations.

Release any tension with the exhalation.

Just relax.

Let go.

Feel the solidity of this body.

Notice sensations arising in it.

Tingling,

Warm and cold,

Soft and hard,

Rough and smooth.

Notice this flimmering field of sensations as they rise in this body we inhabit.

This heavy body holds her life force.

A subtle body of awareness that experiences hearing,

Seeing,

Tasting,

Touching,

Smelling.

Feel this inner body within the heavier form.

Sense the lighter body that experiences everything that enters through the senses.

Enter this light body of awareness.

Each breath that enters the heavy body is experienced as sensation by the awareness within.

Observe how each breath connects the heavy body with the light body within.

Each breath allows awareness to remain in the earthen vessel.

Experience each breath as awareness itself.

Let the breath come and let it go.

Welcome the feeling of well-being in every cell of your body.

Now you can allow yourself to let go into deep,

Restful sleep.

Let the light body float gently free.

Let it all float free and follow the light into luminous space.

Each thought dissolving into space.

Don't hold on.

Just let go for now.

Let go of fear.

Let go of longing.

Open to the wonder.

There's nothing to hold on to.

Let go of your name.

Let go of your face.

Let go of your reputation.

Float freely into the vast space of being.

Allow your attention to let go in all directions at once.

Being everywhere at the same time.

Front and back.

Left and right.

Inside and outside.

Sensing everywhere at the same time and welcoming the feeling of simply being.

At ease.

Simply being with the body and mind deeply resting.

Just being.

Just being.

Light dissolving into light.

Vast luminous space dissolving into space.

Let go now.

Let yourself float free.

Merging with space.

Floating free in vast space.

Let go of your knowing.

Let go of your not knowing.

All that comes to mind is old.

There's nothing to hold on to.

Just the light.

Entering the light.

Space within space.

No inside.

No outside.

Just endless space.

Dissolve into it.

You are entering into deep restful.

Floating free of the body.

Free of the mind.

Floating in the vastness.

Peace.
