Curiosity strengthens our attention,
Enabling change and development.
By asking,
What is this?
We're not looking for an answer.
We're just open to what is happening when we think and experience.
We feel no need to know or judge anything.
Questioning changes the quality of how we perceive ourselves and the world.
Make yourself comfortable.
As you exhale,
Close your eyes.
To be curious is to not know what is there.
Hold your breath and feel the tension building up.
Wait for your body to breathe in on its own.
Be as open as if you were experiencing it for the first time.
Be curious.
How does the body breathe in and out on its own?
Try not to name or judge anything.
Just ask,
What is this?
With a sense of wonderment and awe?
Because you do not know.
Pay attention to the breath.
You are not able to see.
You are not able to see.
You are not able to see.
Pay attention to the breath.
What is breathing?
What happens when you breathe out?
What happens when you breathe in?
What is this process of breathing?
Now focus your attention on both hands simultaneously.
Feel the sensations in the palms and fingertips.
Can you notice a tingling or throbbing sensation?
Do you feel warmth or coolness?
Be curious.
Try only to feel,
Not to describe.
Gently move your fingers.
Observe what is happening as if your nose is sticking out.
What is this?
How does it feel when you're anxious or worried?
Be curious.
How does this feeling arise?
Notice that something is happening.
Notice how the feeling stresses you and makes you tight.
Be curious.
Notice how the feeling is moving.
Notice how the feeling is moving.
Notice how the feeling is moving.
Be curious.
What is this feeling?
Surrender to it.
Notice how you become wide and calm.
Feel what mood you're in.
Are you tired or awake,
Restless or calm?
Feel curious about the life in your body.
What is this?
Pay attention to the feeling.
Pay attention to the places in the body that feel well.
Feel the lightness there.
Where in the body can you feel tension or pain?
What happens if you meet these places with curiosity and kindness?
When your attention wanders,
Come back to the moment.
Feel the whole body without asking or expecting anything.
There is no aim,
Only recognizing what is present.
Extend your attention to the thoughts,
Images,
And moods,
Both the pleasant and unpleasant ones.
What is this?
How does it feel to look at all these things with a caring mind?
When we encounter what is with a curious mind,
We befriend it.
It makes us stronger when we accept ourselves as whole.
Without changing anything,
Think,
I feel safe and well.
I am happy and at peace.
I am looking after myself and I value myself.
Breathe in deeper.
Breathe out longer.
Feel fresh,
Awake,
And aware.
And remember,
You can be curious at any time of the day.
