Take a comfortable seat.
It could be a cushion.
It could be lying down.
So today we're going to talk about those other people,
How those other people get us annoyed,
How they get us upset,
How angry we are that people aren't wearing their mask or they're walking in front of me,
They're not keeping social distancing,
Having to wait and people still want to break in front of me,
Jump on a train or a bus,
Squeeze up next to me.
Who are these people?
Well,
Maybe that person is thinking,
Doesn't that person know that we really don't need to wear masks,
That I'm healthy,
I'm not going to infect them.
Why are they so paranoid?
I mean,
I don't have COVID.
I've been around a lot of people,
My friends,
None of them have COVID.
I don't know why they're so paranoid.
We're opening up and everything's good.
And I need to get on that bus.
I need to get to work.
Okay.
So maybe both of us got to reconsider the other guy.
Maybe we're just really,
Really annoyed that all these rules happen and or suggestions and they keep seeming to happen.
And the information seems so conflicting and some people I thought I knew or just not what I thought.
Breathe in.
Yeah,
You're upset,
But let it go.
That anger.
Breathe in and let it go.
Underneath there's some fear.
Maybe it hides under self-righteousness.
Let it go.
Maybe it hides under this fear that something will happen to you.
Anger destroys the container it's in.
Let it go.
Let your body invite it to be a little more relaxed.
Open your heart a little bit more.
Use your breath so your heart isn't racing.
Breathe into the openness that we're all in this.
Yes,
It sounds corny,
But we're really all in this together.
The rules change day to day because people are just trying.
We're trying the best we can to be the best person we can and show up.
Still think of the other guy.
Just do what you feel you need to do,
But be open to the other view.
Let go of your grasp on what's right that you absolutely know or your fear that something's going to happen to you.
I don't mean to stop washing your hands and doing the things we should be doing anyway.
And if you're vulnerable,
Please take precautions.
And if you're around anybody vulnerable,
Think of them.
Tensions are high.
Don't let your anger take you.
There is danger,
After all.
It'll take you down.
And then who will be right?
So relax and let go.
Open your heart.
Take the breath in.
Feel yourself a little more grounded.
Take that love with you.
Breathe into it.
And let it go.
Breathe in again.
Let it go.
You can do this.
Be smart.
Be safe.
Bring the love with you.
And breathe.
Namaste.
Be safe.
