A New Day
by Gera
I made this for those who might miss my usual Live day meditation. This recording is for you when I am not here but it really is for everyone. Come now and meditate, relax and reflect with the soothing words and sounds of the Native American Flute.

This is a MMills of blank one through zero.
The whistle music isDevi.
Can you tell the video your story?
But it is much more.
Unfortunately that's the onlyZZ new album for me.
Hello.
Good morning,
Good afternoon.
Whatever time of day it is for you,
I'd like you to sit back and relax,
Get yourself on a comfortable cushion,
Making sure that you feel a little grounded,
You're sitting equally on your sit bones,
Your head almost feels like there's a string coming out that's tied all the way up to the sky and drops down through your body,
Down the base of your spine,
Out your tailbone,
Into the earth,
All the way down,
Grounding you and freeing you so that your spine can enjoy its perfect alignment.
With that being said,
Maybe give yourself a little massage with your head,
You can make knuckles with your hands,
And gently massage the fascia that's on your skull.
Gently massage that,
Breaking up the fascia gently.
Going around the nape of the neck,
Seeing how tight that is from us looking at our phones,
Looking at our computers this whole year,
Has left us a little fatigued back there,
So give it some love.
So when you've done that,
Just come back and massage your ears,
Your hairline,
Gently around your eyes,
Just tap,
Tap down along your jaw with your fingers very gently,
Giving yourself some love and appreciation for coming and doing this for yourself.
Tap down along your throat,
Down to that little point where the collar blades are,
And tap there around your thyroid,
Down on your chest,
All those places where the thymus gland is,
Where that great immune battler is,
Enhances our immune system and bolsters us.
Just tap on there,
And then finally down to your heart,
Waking it up a little,
Breathing in,
Feeling how good it is to feel that oxygen flow into your lungs,
Softening the belly.
And come back to where you are in your cushion and breathe in the air,
Feel that alignment in your spine.
As your eyes soften,
Your ears soften,
Your throat softens,
The mouth,
The tongue relax.
As you feel the oxygen going through your body,
Feel your shoulder blades supporting you on your back,
And feel the great expansion,
And if there's any places that are tight,
Just give them a little more time to open,
And let go of any preconceptions about how this should go,
Or where you were earlier today,
Or what your day is going to be like,
Or your week,
Or the month.
Just let those things go.
I'm going to read off a little meditation for this morning from a Cherokee Feast of Days by Joyce Sakichi-Hiffler.
Peace of mind is better than gold and just as precious,
But unlike gold,
Peace comes when we ask for it and let it happen,
Not when we go in search of it.
We look for a time to be peaceful,
But we may seem to be a waste of time,
Can be just what we need.
A spot of sunlight,
Soft breezes,
The sound of the lotus humming in the night.
The little things calm us and bring us rest,
But the best comes when we release our hold on little cares,
The voices that tell us how bad things are in the world,
And just let peace seep in.
Nothing so becomes us as stillness and quiet serenity.
Nothing so aptly furnishes the background music like sounds of nature,
The mockingbird's midnight song that expands our boundaries and enchants our hearts.
The quote is,
We are part of the earth and the earth is part of us,
And that's by Seattle.
So as we take the breath in,
Breathing in this beautiful oxygen with the trees so freely give us,
Letting it expand our lungs,
Let that breath come into ourselves and go to every cell in our body,
The top of our head,
Down across our shoulders,
Our arms,
Our torso,
Our lungs,
Down to our stomach,
Down to our sit bones,
All the way down the legs,
Past the knees,
Past the calves,
The ankles,
And finally the feet and toes,
Just feel that oxygen circulating through the body,
Bringing the sense of renewal and taking away any toxins in the body.
Let that just circulate through with the next breath.
Take in the beautiful oxygen and see it shining in your body and every cell and any hidden places,
Just surround it with this light and let the light come and be with it.
Opening up,
Expanding,
Expanding further so that there is no space between the cells,
It's all this light energy.
Even your body is kind of giving up the boundaries of where this energy is and you find yourself surrounded by this light within you and outside of you,
Around you in your auric field,
Feeling fully protected and shining in this beautiful light.
As you sit there,
Just breathe in the space between the eyebrows,
Notice this little tingling sensation,
It may be white or yellow or silver,
Just feel that coming in,
Expanding,
Bringing this beautiful energy,
This energy,
This connection to something larger than yourself,
Something greater than yourself.
And as you feel this light flowing in your body,
See yourself in your mind's eye,
See this beautiful flower and this flower expands a little bit more.
See it coming out the crown of your head,
Over your head with its petals expanding in this light energy and the dew all of a sudden becomes little fountains,
Fountains of energy that just flow over you,
That flow over you like a waterfall over your body,
All those places where the light is.
Keep bringing that light in the space between the eyebrows and see how it's feeding this spring of this flower above your head.
Feel it coming down softly,
Cleansing every single part of you,
Letting go of any negativity,
Anything that doesn't serve you,
Bring this light in.
And allow yourself to be in the presence of this waterfall of joy,
Of light,
Of healing as the music takes you a little deeper.

Breathing in,
Feel the air around you,
Smell it,
Sense it.
Take in this moment,
This moment that you've chosen for yourself that's so precious that you just let peace seep in.
.
.
.
Breathing in,
Let that beautiful flower come down through your head,
Down into your heart.
And know you have that heart with you to take with you throughout the day.
A little enchantment for your heart you've created.
So take it with you and open it up and look at it,
Smell it,
See it,
Hear it at any time of the day that you need to.
It's there for you.
Breathing in,
If you need a little more time just stop and start at your own pace but.
.
.
Breathe in,
Feel the gratitude in your heart and keep that joy for you and you can even send a little out if somebody's hurting near you.
You can just send them a little love.
But keep what you've done for you also,
Be sure.
Feeling your fingers,
Your toes,
Feel the air around you.
Feel a little smile on your face as you come back because you've done this work,
Your ears,
You took your ears to your heart and they spoke to each other.
Have a beautiful day in case you have other plans I would say,
Take the beauty with you.
And whatever you do don't panic,
Don't panic,
Don't panic.
And that comes from an old teacher of mine and it's served me well.
So may this serve you well.
Thank you for being here.
Namaste.
