Alternate nostril breathing involves implementing a conscious, deliberate breathing pattern to relax your body and mind. It requires more concentration than other breathing techniques, which helps to draw your attention away from distracting thoughts. If you’re feeling stressed, anxious, or agitated, alternate nostril breathing can reset your thinking and relax your body and mind, bringing you back to a better place. Hello beautiful souls.

Today's meditation will be a quick breathing meditation for those moments when you may be feeling a little stressed,

A little deceased,

A little conflicted,

Or needing a little bit more clarity.

This meditation is good for any time,

But it's especially good for those moments in the middle of the day when you just need a little bit of a pick me up to remind yourself of where you're going and what you're doing.

The way this meditation will work is I will lead you guys and show you a short breath exercise by walking you guys through it for the first few minutes of this meditation.

After the instructions are done,

We will be doing five minutes of breath work with the pattern that I have shown you.

If you have never done breath work before,

It's a bit of focus that is needed to do breath work.

But the point of breath work is to get us out of our mental thoughts,

Getting us out of our thoughts and our feelings and the monkey mind that we often have that allows us to just step away from those thoughts,

Step away from the clutter of our minds and tap into our breath so that we can learn to rewire our thoughts,

Learn to distract ourselves,

To remind ourselves of our true authenticity,

Our true nature of peace and love and joy.

When you are ready,

Sit down or lie down and we will get started.

Starting with our breath,

I'm going to ask you to take your right hand,

Taking your palm in front of your face,

Placing your thumb on your right nostril,

Taking your index finger and your middle finger and placing it on your right eye,

Right between your brows and your forehead and taking the remaining two fingers,

Your ring finger and your pinky and placing it right over your left nostril.

This is the hand position that you will hold throughout the whole meditation.

Thumb and right nostril,

Pointer finger and middle finger and third eye,

Ring finger and pinky and left nostril.

Now throughout the meditation,

We will be breathing in on one side of our nose and then releasing on the other side of our nose and then breathing in on the same side of the nose that we just breathed out of and then exhaling on the opposite side.

So as a practice,

Pushing your right nostril down with your thumb and breathe in through your left,

Breathing all the way in and in and in,

Holding and then breathing out through your right nostril,

Putting your ring finger and your pinky up against your left nostril and releasing your right nostril and your thumb.

It's a little complicated but you guys will get a hang of it.

Then breathing in through your right nostril,

Breathing in,

Holding,

Absorbing the breath and then placing your thumb back on your right nostril,

Releasing your left nostril,

Your ring finger and your pinky and breathing out,

Breathing in again through your left nostril,

Breathing in and a big inhale,

Placing your fingers back down,

Opening up the right side and exhaling out of your right nostril.

Breathing in through your right nostril,

Holding and breathing out through your left nostril,

Releasing your fingers,

Trying it again,

Breathing in through the left nostril,

Releasing your fingers,

Holding and breathing out through the right nostril,

Breathing in through the right nostril and breathing out through the left nostril,

Continuing to rotate our fingers.

This will be the pattern that we will do throughout the meditation.

We will do five minutes of this breath work.

Breathing in through one side,

Breathing out,

Breathing in and breathing out again.

So when you are ready,

Listening to the sounds of my voice,

You remember again,

Placing your thumb on your right nostril,

Your index finger and your middle finger on your third eye and then your ring finger and your pinky on the left side.

So continuing to breathe with me,

Starting on the right side,

Pushing down on your left nostril,

Opening up your right,

Breathing in through your right.

Exhaling on your left.

Breathing in through the left,

Breathing out on the right.

Exhaling,

Continue breathing in through the right and exhaling on the left.

Breathing in through the left and exhaling on the right.

Breathing in through the right,

Breathing out through the left.

Breathing in through the left,

Breathing out through the right.

Good,

Continuing.

Feeling the stress,

Breathing in through the right.

Feel the stress releasing.

Breathing out through the left,

With every breath,

Become more and more relaxed.

Breathing in through the left,

Breathing out through the right.

Breathing in love on the right,

Breathing out frustration on the left.

Breathing in peace on the left,

Breathing out angle on the right,

Balancing our right and left hemispheres.

Breathing out happiness on the right,

Breathing out resentment on the left.

A few more breaths,

Breathing in through the left,

Becoming more and more relaxed and breathing out on the right.

Good,

Two more breaths,

Breathing in through the right,

Breathing out through the left.

One more,

Breathing in through the left and finally exhaling all of it out on the right,

Completely letting go of the stress,

The pain,

The suffering.

Dropping down your hand back down into your left leg and starting to breathe naturally.

Breathing in through your nose and breathing out through your mouth.

Breathing naturally through your nose and out through your mouth.

Breathing once more in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Place your hands at heart center,

Feeling your natural heartbeat,

Feeling yourself more relaxed,

Less stressed.

All of the stress,

All of the frustration gone.

Completely peaceful,

Completely at ease in this moment,

Completely back at your heart center,

Allowing you to continue on with your day.

When you are ready,

Opening up your eyes and smiling,

Smile,

Lift your mouth up and allow yourself to just smile in this moment with your hands in prayer pose at heart center,

Sending the rest of your day with happiness and with ease and with love.

You may do this breath work exercise at any time throughout your day whenever you may be feeling a little bit stressed,

A little diseased.

This will allow you to just come back into the moment.

This breath work will allow you to just come back to your natural rhythm,

Allowing you to concentrate a little bit more,

Raising your feelings,

Raising your vibration.

Come back to this at any time.

I thank you so much for joining in today.

I will conclude by asking you if you aren't already,

Put your hands together at heart center and prayer pose and bowing down with me.

Namaste.

I thank you so much for joining me today.

I thank you for being present with me.

I continue every day to post new meditations because I truly believe that meditation is medication.

This is my passion.

This is my whole reason for waking up every morning.

So I ask that if you are feeling led to donate,

It continues to allow me to put on these meditations for you guys to continue to improve my meditations by getting proper audio equipment and many more things.

Donations are never ever expected,

But they are always appreciated.

I thank you.

I thank you.

And if nothing else,

If you have not yet already followed me,

Please follow for more meditations and please comment below your thoughts,

Your feelings.

I really want to continue to self improve and become better.

So let me know what you guys think honestly,

So I can continue to grow and evolve and be better tomorrow than I am today.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you guys.

Once again,

I hope you guys have a beautiful day.

Namaste.
