This practice takes men on a purposeful journey to uncover that darma inside them. Your darma is your purpose in life. It used to be what your father did and his father before him. Now, we have a unique opportunity to consciously choose what we want our darma to be. As you find your conscious darma in life, it will give you the reason to get out of bed every day and pull you into your future.

Hello and welcome to the conscious Dharma meditation.

Your Dharma is your proclivities in life,

What life has decided for you.

It used to be that your last name or what your father had done before you is what you were destined to do.

In the modern age,

In the current age,

We have the ability to be conscious and decide what it is we want our Dharma to be in life.

So to find your Dharma is to find your purpose and your purpose is what is uniquely you.

Above and beyond what anyone else has expected for you,

You now have the opportunity to choose exactly what you want your Dharma to be in life.

So take a moment now to be here with me in this meditation as I take you on a journey to finding your own Dharma.

So take a deep breath in,

In through the nose,

Hold for two seconds and release letting it go.

As you let the breath go so you let the stress go from body,

From life and just notice the breath being released in a relaxed conscious way.

Breathe in again through the nose,

Hold for two and release.

And as you sit here now become aware of the body that you occupy in this moment.

Be grateful for the body that takes you through every day.

It carries you,

It gets the toxins out of your body all on its own.

It changes temperature,

It moves all the nutrients around,

Breaks down food and sends the nutrients right where they need to go in this body of yours.

In this body,

The core of what it is,

You didn't have to work for.

The body itself was created by somebody who loves you very much.

And as you notice your body,

Breathe deep into your belly right down into your belly button.

And just notice the breath moving your belly in and out naturally.

And now as you breathe in,

Breathe into your heart and put your focus and your attention on your heart and give thanks for this beautiful heart that pumps blood around your body every single day without even having to think about it.

It pumps the blood around veins and capillaries that if you laid them end on end around the earth,

It would wrap around the earth twice.

That is the power of your heart that beats every day.

So say thank you for this beautiful heart that is yours.

Now while you're in the heart space,

Feeling your heart,

Look even deeper into your heart.

See what your heart yearns for in life,

What it loves to do.

Think of a moment that filled you with joy in your life.

Step into that moment as though you're there now.

See what you were seeing,

Feel what you were feeling and hear what you were hearing in that moment.

Be in that moment now.

What was it about this moment that you loved so much?

Notice everything about this moment.

Notice who you were being in this moment that you loved so much.

And now think of a moment where you felt in a state of flow,

In a state of achievement,

In a state where anything was possible in that moment.

Go back to that moment now.

See what you were seeing,

Hear what you were hearing,

Feel what you were feeling.

Be in that moment and just notice everything about that moment.

Why was this such an amazing moment for you?

Who were you being?

What had you done that made you feel so good?

Now think of one more moment,

A moment where you felt useful and on purpose.

Notice everything about this moment.

Notice how you were being,

What you were seeing,

What you were hearing,

How you were feeling.

Realize that this is your Dharma.

To be uniquely you,

Just as you are.

And to bring your light to the world in your own unique way,

Just as you are.

For you are perfect,

Perfectly imperfect.

There is no other in this world just like you.

That is why the world is such a unique place,

Where you have a perfect role to play.

Your perfect Dharma is exactly made for you.

No one else can fulfill your new unique purpose.

For it was given to you.

Take a moment now to imagine after all the money in the world had been placed in your bank account and you'd traveled the world.

You'd done all the travel you possibly could do.

You had all the toys that you could possibly imagine and you're kind of tired of them now.

You've done all the extreme crazy amazing out there things you could possibly do.

Now you've got all this time on your hands.

But there's nothing that pulls you forwards.

No experiences that you want to be running around to do anymore.

And ask yourself,

What will you do with your time now?

What would bring you joy in this moment?

What do you choose to do if all those other things have already been done?

Step into that future.

Step into what you would be doing,

Experiencing,

Seeing,

Hearing and feeling.

Create the vision in your mind.

The experience of this future that you create from a place of having it all.

What would you do with your time?

It's this.

That is your Dharma.

When you know what you would do and will do after having had all the riches,

Materialism and things you could possibly imagine in the world now.

What you will do with your time after that has come to pass is your conscious Dharma.

What you decide is important to spend your time doing.

So why wait?

Why wait until after that fact when you could do that right now in this moment?

Now as you have found your conscious Dharma and even if you haven't found it just yet,

Let that question sit with you over the next day,

Week and month.

Bubbling away deep down in your heart and in your soul.

Repeat this meditation as many times as you need to find your conscious Dharma and allow yourself now to come back into the room wriggling your fingers,

Your toes,

Coming back into this place,

Back into your body and when you feel ready,

Open your eyes,

Come back into the room and walk into your day with purpose,

With conscious Dharma.

For everyone! My feminine is well developed, yet unsupported by my masculine. This was beautifully balancing and grounding. Clarity grows.

This guy should be narrating books. I would listen to anything he reads.

An outstanding exercise whose simplicity belies its power. Fine for beginners: also bears multiple listens. Note: FWIW, I don’t hear anything in this recording that is particularly specific to men or masculinity, so don’t let the title stop you.
