Welcome to this exploration and activation of the brain and its neural network in the body.

We will use this neural network as a bridge to subtler states of awareness.

Dream with me.

Activate your brain from a place of silence and power.

Feel your body on the earth.

Lie down and relax and let go.

Connect with your breath,

Inhaling and exhaling in a natural and full way.

Feel that cycle of life.

Just become aware of your skin,

Where it meets your clothes,

Where it meets the air.

Just come in to feeling your existence.

Welcome yourself to your body.

Relax.

Allow gravity to work on you.

Any holding you have in the body,

Let go of it.

Any tension you have in the body,

Let go of it.

Any tightness in the body,

Let go of it.

Ensure the feet are splayed to the side.

Relax.

The palms are face up.

The arms are diagonal from the shoulders.

Connect with the feeling of surrendering to the earth.

Feel the toes on the right foot,

The heel,

The ankle.

Any tension,

Just relax.

Just command the foot to relax.

And up the calf is where we hold tension,

Up the right calf.

Just relaxing the muscle of the calf,

Thanking it.

And up the thigh,

How relaxed can we make our thigh?

Is there any holding there?

Use the breath to scan the body and identify any tension.

The right buttock,

Relax the right buttock.

From the belly on the right,

The lower back on the right.

Breathing into these areas and relaxing.

Come up to the chest on the right,

Letting go of anything you don't need.

And the upper back on the right,

Just relax the upper back.

The right hand,

Just fully relax the fingers,

Relax the palm,

Relax the wrist,

The forearm,

The upper arm,

The shoulder.

Breathe into the shoulder,

The neck on the right,

Just relaxing.

Coming up into the head on the right,

The face.

We hold a lot of tension in the jaw,

Let go of the jaw,

Open the mouth slightly.

And then the other side of the face,

Relax the brow on the jaw,

Relax the whole face,

The head,

The neck.

Relax the left shoulder,

Relax the upper arm,

The forearm,

The wrist,

The fingers.

Relax the upper back on the left,

And the chest on the left,

Breathing into these areas and letting go.

Relax the lower back,

Relax the belly and the sexual region.

Relax the buttock on the left,

The thigh on the left,

The calves,

The ankle.

Breathe into these areas,

Into the foot.

And now we'll breathe together,

Just exhale everything.

We're going to inhale from the feet,

Bringing energy up the legs,

Up the torso,

And into the head and the crown.

And exhaling down,

Just scan the body on an inhale.

Inhaling,

We can imagine the golden liquid rising up our legs with our breath,

Rising up to the buttocks,

The sexual region,

The belly,

The chest,

The shoulders,

The neck,

The head.

And just hold that for a moment.

Now exhaling,

We let go of anywhere that we have identified tension.

Again inhaling through the nose,

Visualising this golden liquid filling the body.

Holding for a moment and clearing any information we've received from scanning.

The powerful centre in the physical body is the brain.

We are going to use this vital centre by forging new neural pathways to intend dreaming and to applying our dreaming in the theatre of daily life.

Let's practice together breathing into the energy centre at the crown.

Bring energy up the body as we have into the head,

Into the brain.

And then exhale.

So as we inhale from the feet,

We feel this energy rise up along the spine,

Deep inside.

And we can boost this by the engagement of the perineum.

Coming right up the spine into the brain and just hold that for a moment.

Exhaling down the spine into the spinal cord.

And this time we can increase the power of it by rolling our tongue onto the palate.

Just rolling the tongue back.

Holding the breath,

Exhaling down the spine into the spinal cord.

Let's do this together a few times.

Inhaling,

Bringing energy up the legs,

Up the spine,

Into the brain.

Holding the tongue is on the roof of the mouth.

And exhaling inside the spinal cord.

And keep to this breath throughout this exploration.

The tongue makes a connection in this cycle of breath.

Allow yourself to sink deeply into your own awareness.

Go deep.

Let go.

Release that energy to this exploration.

Keep with your breath.

Acquiesce to the command of my voice as if,

As it does,

It comes from a deep part of your own awareness that intends a safe transformation for you.

Into an acquiescence and realisation of your spirit destiny.

We are going to journey deeply into the neurocircuitry of the brain as a live circuit where information and energy flow.

As a way for you to become more familiar with your own internal life.

We will see that we act according to neural pathways.

Some of these were forged by animal experience in the parts of our brain we share with the animal kingdom.

By our astral ancestral heritage and also those created in concert with our environment.

Let's enter into a dream together of transformation,

Of identifying pathways that no longer serve us and transforming them.

Accept that you have the power to eradicate neural pathways in the brain that no longer suit you and make new ones a do.

We intend all higher functions of the brain and embrace intelligence,

Objectivity,

Expansion and creativity.

Bringing our attention to the brain with the consciousness means that we can change the physicality of the brain.

See yourself now exactly how you would like to be and see the life you intend to live.

Accept that it is so and give thanks.

Visualise yourself relaxed and engaging with the world as you will.

Dance in your awareness.

You are a being of infinite capability.

You have been called by your destiny and have responded impeccably.

We will be using awareness to push energy and information flow in new ways so that old traits and habits can be replaced by new ones.

By knowing where energy and information will be flowing,

You can use the power of your mind to change your brain.

What we call ourselves is only a temporary and partial perspective by life on life.

Let us understand that this body,

This physical body is a temporary home for us.

We are energy beings.

What we have been told we are,

We are not.

What we tell ourselves we are,

We are not.

For our purpose these descriptions are too limiting.

In this exploration we will intend that we go beyond the confines of the personal,

Enter into a deeper sense of ourselves,

Reclaim our energy and live the dream of who we are individually.

Bringing the mind to the brain rewires the brain and changes its physicality.

This has been observed by scientists.

If you wish,

Bring your hands to your lap,

Get even more comfortable,

Close your eyes if you haven't yet.

For the next minutes we will close the eyes to the outside world and open the inner eye.

Let your attention shift from the outer world to the inner world,

A subtler world.

Allow yourself to be guided by my voice,

Make a picture or create a feeling of what you hear as it is being said.

Use your full imagination and live it inside of you.

Be at one with the voice and the intent.

Take a moment to notice how your whole body feels.

Notice how energy flows through your entire body and around it.

If you imagine a body where the only thing that remains is the brain and the neural network,

You would see an intricate forest of billions of hair-like threads connecting every cell everywhere.

These hair-like threads coalesce along the cord within the spinal column.

Bring your inner eyes and mind to the base of the spine,

The sacrum.

And then follow that up along the spine into the big brain.

Use the breath to explore this neural network.

Identify and feel this information,

A highway.

The spinal cord is collecting and bringing neural input from the body up to the gut,

The heart and the head.

Take a moment to feel your brain inside of your skull,

A vibrant web of information,

Sensation and organisation.

Open your inner eye and travel from every tissue and organ in the body,

Gathering towards the brain,

Going up along the spine to the brain.

And as we arrive,

We see the brain divided into three main functional parts.

The brain stem is the first,

The deepest part of the brain,

And this is often called the reptile brain.

Secondly,

We have the limbic area or zone within the central part of the brain.

This is often called the mammalian brain.

And thirdly,

We have the cortex or neocortex,

The surrounding outer part.

There is a correlation between these areas and the functions they regulate.

The reptile brain is the oldest in terms of evolution and the first to form in the womb.

Its functions are to regulate our basic functioning,

Our respiration,

Our heart rate.

Feel your respiration right now as I speak,

Inhaling and exhaling.

Feel your heartbeat.

Align with this rhythm.

The brain stem controls the state of alertness.

Feel what it means to be alert.

How does it feel being alert?

We've probably heard of the fight,

Flight,

Freeze response.

And this is embedded within the circuitry of the brain stem.

When we're in an overwhelming situation,

We either fight,

We freeze,

Or we take flight.

This is our response to a threat or a perceived threat.

The perception of imminent danger.

And this part assesses,

Do I feel capable of responding?

If we do,

Then we either fight or flee.

But if I feel incapable of responding,

Then I just freeze.

The rabbit in the headlights.

It also relates to states of safety.

When we feel safe,

Our face relaxes.

Our ears can hear different frequencies of sound.

We are open to others.

We are perceiving their signals.

We are being open-hearted,

Flexible,

And ready to create or receive.

Do we recognise ourself here in the reptile brain?

Are we sometimes caught within its operations inappropriately?

Do we?

Or have we brought fear to situations that didn't warrant it?

Were there moments in our childhood where we froze when we were overwhelmed,

Or fought,

Or ran,

That has made a neural pathway that still affects us today?

Recall an incident where you were overwhelmed,

Where you fought,

Or took flight,

Or froze.

Let's intend our awareness to illuminate the reptile brain,

So that it will be in our service to act decisively and appropriately.

Let's transform those pathways that make it want to dominate the other parts of the brain.

Appreciate the reptile brain,

And send your appreciation to it for all of the services that it does for you.

Now though,

It will work in harmony with the whole body-brain.

It will become your ally.

It doesn't need a front seat on our life.

It's overcautious.

Work from your heart.

Connect with your feet.

Connect with your breath.

The second part of the brain,

Around the stem of the brain,

Is the limbic system,

Located deep within the brain,

Below the cortex.

Send your inner awareness to the centre of your brain.

Here is the processing centre of emotions.

The limbic system is a pulsating centre,

Filled with our inner life.

In this cauldron,

We are constantly generating and working our feelings in collaboration with the other two parts of the brain,

The cortex and the brain stem.

Feelings are also distributed across the whole body,

Through the array of chemicals of emotion,

Going back and forth everywhere.

There are eight basic emotions,

Universally found across all cultures,

With the same facial expressions to show them.

Sadness.

Fear.

Anger.

Joy.

Excitement.

Worry.

Disgust.

And shame.

Do we recognise these qualities within us?

Do we remember times of sadness?

This is a natural function of the brain.

Fear.

Are you scared of as a child?

What brings fear to you now?

Anger.

Do you ever get angry?

Inappropriately angry.

And joy.

Such a wonderful world.

Children are so joyful,

They skip down the road laughing.

When was the last time you skipped down the road?

Visualise yourself completely joyful,

Skipping down the road,

Totally relaxed and aligned with life.

Laughing.

Smiling.

Invite the inner child back into your life.

It has been marginalised through fear,

Through other peoples and our judgements of its behaviour.

Welcome back,

Joyful child.

Feel excitement.

If we are excited simply to be alive,

We are aligned with the spirit of life.

Feel this subtle vibration of excitement.

What do you feel when you are excited?

Worry.

Have you ever been worried?

Do you worry inappropriately sometimes?

And then we have disgust and shame.

Are you ever disgusted with yourself,

With other people,

With the world?

Or are you shamed by it?

These are all human emotions.

The cross-culturally have the same facial expressions.

In the limbic area we assess things and then we give them a meaning.

In the limbic area we feel the connection to others.

It is like as if a part of the heart existed within the brain,

Where we experience relationships and attachment to others.

Let's spend some time with these emotional states.

Send your awareness into the body-brain.

Explore these moods.

And see you have the power to assess these moods when you have a need,

Not out of habit,

As if we were a five-year-old.

We needed protecting at one time.

Now we have all our capabilities.

We are not as vulnerable as we were as children.

Let's continue with your breath,

Lighting up the brain,

And allow your awareness to illuminate the last part,

The neocortex,

The outer layer that covers it all.

The simple division is back of the brain,

Front and pre-frontal,

Behind the forehead.

The back houses complex perceptual processes like seeing and hearing.

The frontal lobe controls motor actions and motor planning,

Thinking and paying attention.

Let's bring our attention to the pre-frontal cortex.

This is our advanced runner of evolution,

A highly developed area of possibilities.

This area correlates with the vast number of states of awareness and states of perception available to us.

Imagine this area like a bright star shining in the front of your skull,

Beaming light.

And see this light playing on your personal history.

See it bringing clarity,

Insight and detachment.

And dream.

And feel your neurological energy dancing in delight with this light.

Give yourself permission to be 100% present in your life.

Play at being you.

Experiment.

The side pre-frontal cortex relates to awareness,

To holding something in our attention.

The pre-frontal activation is involved in inducing and maintaining sustained attention.

We can use awareness to start shaping our activity in our nervous system.

The mind is using the brain to create itself.

With our mind we can reshape the brain.

We can change it functionally and structurally as well.

We can use awareness to be in command of our life.

You are a probe of the infinite.

You have the power of the universe at your fingertips.

The middle pre-frontal cortex connects everything together,

Cortex,

Limbic,

Stem and organs of the body.

When we use awareness to be in command of our life,

We become our own best friend.

Energy and information flow is bi-directional across the body and between people into the central pre-frontal cortex.

Its functions are intuition,

Self-awareness and empathy.

Intuition is bringing the wisdom of the body to the brain.

From the organs,

Information from direct perception comes into the pre-frontal lobe.

When self-awareness is in sight,

We see things as they relate to ourselves.

To be aware,

Know what is going on in our lives.

Self-awareness means we give it to ourselves.

Bringing the mind to the brain rewires the brain and changes its functionality and physicality.

Thirdly,

We have empathy,

To see things as they relate to others.

Having an image of another person's mind in our own mind.

Try it right now.

Think of someone you know.

Hold the image of that person in your mind.

Good.

Now imagine that you put your mind into their mind.

Now hold whatever sensation that brings to you.

The brain is hard-wired to connect to other brains from the moment we are born.

We resonate with other brain states and then we try to match the two.

Connect with higher awareness,

Whatever that means for you.

Connect with your helpers that exist on every level.

Connect with a feeling,

A quality,

An archetype,

Or with any vital connection you have in your spirit life.

Maybe a poet,

A teacher that inspires you.

Connect with that being,

Or that feeling now.

Feel its quality.

Feel that connection resonating with your own mind.

Use the breath to empower this possibility in your consciousness.

We are going to use our connection to the higher intelligence of the universe,

However we connect with it.

And we are going to use that connection to activate the two centers in the brain associated with dreaming and visioning.

The upper energetic centers are only operable when the energy body and the physical body come together.

We are going to activate these centers in the brain.

And so activate and potentiate our dreaming.

Align with this possibility now.

There are two centers in the brain.

They are associated with the sixth and seventh chakra.

They are the pituitary gland situated behind and between the eyebrows,

And the pineal gland situated deep in the brain.

Visualize these areas.

This pine cone in the center of the brain.

And this eye on the forehead.

The sixth chakra is called the third eye.

It is associated with the masculine or active principle.

The seventh chakra is the crown chakra.

It is associated with the receptive or female.

Shamans also have recognized this area as a gate of dreaming,

Of connection to the world beyond our senses.

Let's bring our attention to a space between and behind the eyebrows.

Just inhale into that area.

And let's recognize the need at this time for the activation and opening of this center,

The third eye.

Become a seer.

Allow your seeing.

Trust your seeing.

Accept that it is possible and desirable to open this center now.

Intend it and allow it to happen.

See your third eye opening.

See it lighting up your brain.

Isn't it wonderful to be conscious of this center?

Let's bring our attention to the pineal gland deep in the brain.

Use the breath and your intent to open this center.

Breathe deeply into the pineal gland.

And see this pine cone opening.

And feel the activation of this center.

Inside the brain there is a connection between the pineal and pituitary glands.

Visualize these two now open centers communicating.

Intend the marriage of these two principles,

Active and receptive.

Let them come together in intelligent cooperation.

See the glow in your brain as this activation and communication occur.

Slow your breath down and be with it.

Breathing deeply and slowly.

Intend and allow theta brain waves to arise in this communication.

Intend the supply of melatonin and serotonin to be available in sufficient quantities for these centers to function in the higher states they are intended for.

Intend the supply of the dimethyltryptamines in the brain that are associated with its higher functions.

Intend enlightenment of the brain and its full usage in our dreaming creativity and communication.

There is a social circuitry in the brain.

They are called mirror neurons.

When we see something happening outside the mirror neurons fire as if it was happening inside.

So however we are perceiving the world,

However we are seeing the world,

We recreate this inside.

I sense an emotional state in others and I emulate that emotion,

That feeling in myself.

We can call this compassion.

Compassion is integrating our own mind with other people's minds.

Then we can be in two places at once.

We are not alone,

We change in response to our connection with each other.

Our nervous system is hardwired to connect with each other in such a way that we are forever changed.

So let's resonate with our deepest aspirations and higher functions.

Communicate this with our fellow dream beings.

Use our energy to dream the beings we are and the world or worlds we aspire to live in.

Individually let's dream ourselves experiencing the life we intend to live.

Connect with your aspirations.

Connect with those parts of your life that you resonate with.

And thank them.

Show your appreciation.

Feel this intent to fulfil your destiny.

Intent is working through you to deliver you from your fate to your destiny.

We move from fate to destiny with conscious living.

With honesty as to the way we are living.

Bringing a light of awareness into the choices we make every day.

Enter into deep silence now where we intend this in gratitude.

Feel how clean,

Light,

Free and purposeful you are in your play of life.

See yourself letting go of behaviours that no longer have any interest for you.

See yourself envisioning new neural pathways and by your behaviour reinforcing these pathways.

Intend and feel the possibility of fulfilling this life in every way as a navigator of infinity.

Just spend a few moments visualising this.

Relaxing into your life.

Giving yourself permission to excel.

You are an excellent being.

Accept that you are an exemplary being.

And forgive yourself for any judgements you may have made about this being,

About your behaviour or others behaviour.

And from this place of reciprocity with the universe,

Dream your co-creation.

Plum that seed,

Nurture that seed.

And that seed will flower and fruit.

Shift your breath to make it a little deeper,

Bringing you back into the physical world.

Before you come out,

Notice any appreciation you have for being able to call on this inner space.

Take with you the realisation and acceptance that you can dream your life.

Shift your breathing a bit more.

Pay attention to the sounds in the room,

Feel the body coming awake,

You can move your toes and your fingers.

And then in your own time,

Allow the knees to flop to one side.

Bring the knees up to the chest if you wish.

Allow yourself to roll over and then come to a sitting position.

Thank you for your attention.

Enjoy the way you live the life you intend.

Enjoy.

Thank you.
