This meditation is hopefully going to help you find some relief,
Some relief from any of the past experiences,
The negative experiences that you've had and some relief from the anxiety you may be experiencing right now.
So find a nice,
Quiet place where you can be alone and have some me time.
Somewhere where you can have some peace.
Are you comfortable?
Good.
So,
Let us begin by letting everything be just as it is.
Many meditations suggest that you have to manipulate your breath or try to control your mind.
But this one isn't about that.
This one is about realizing the difference between the meditator and meditation.
The meditator is the one who tries,
The one who tries to achieve something,
The one who's trying to get somewhere.
We are going to recognize it and just let it be.
It's perfectly fine.
It's just doing its job and it's allowed to.
What we are going to do instead of trying is just notice.
Notice the sensations as they arise.
Notice life happening.
Thoughts coming and going.
The breath arising and falling.
The heart beating.
The sensation of being on a chair or on a bed.
The feeling of being supported.
Feelings of relaxation.
The body becoming heavier.
The breath evening out.
Feeling falling into its place,
Into its natural rhythm.
Just notice.
And notice the organic silence that arises.
Where do your thoughts come from?
And where do they fall into?
Just watch.
Be the quiet watcher.
Watch it all rise and fall away again.
Just like my words,
The watcher is unaffected,
Unattached.
It's just watching life happening.
Life happening now.
Nothing else does happen.
Welcome home.
This is home.
This is home now.
This is where you can see the past for what it is.
It's just a story arising in this.
Just a mind movie.
You can watch it unattached.
Listen to the sounds inside and outside of the room.
Cars go by.
Birds chirp.
The wind blows.
Rain falls.
People's voices maybe.
Planes flying over.
Thinking happening.
Thoughts like,
I don't get this.
Whatever may be happening,
Is it?
It's you.
Recognize this.
Realize why you are.
Not who you are.
And why you are is the expression of life.
Much more than a person.
Much more than a story.
Much more than a painful past.
Wake up.
Wake up.
Realize what you are.
