Welcome to the Happiness Harvest Meditation.

Thank you for joining me today.

This joy-infused meditation is dedicated to cultivating happiness through reflection.

During this session,

You'll consciously explore and celebrate the things in your life that bring you pride and joy to foster a sense of gratitude and contentment.

Let's begin by ensuring you are in a comfortable seated position,

A position where your body can be still and relaxed.

If you are sitting on a cushion,

Ensure your hips are higher than your knees and your spine is elongated.

Now let's do a quick body scan.

Bring your mind's attention to your feet and legs,

Making any necessary adjustments to release tension.

Feel your hips grounded and sit tall.

Move your shoulders away from your ears,

Allowing your arms and hands to rest comfortably.

Relax your jaw.

Soften the skin around your eyes and between your eyebrows and invite a small smile to your lips,

Signaling to your mind that this is a joyful activity.

Then let the sounds around you to begin to fade into the distance as you become aware of your breath.

With each inhale,

Allow your body to feel bright and uplifted and with each exhale,

Let your body to feel relaxed and centered.

If your mind wanders during your practice,

Simply acknowledge it and gently bring your attention back to the breath.

Now I invite you to search your mind for a moment of kindness in the last few hours or days.

It could be something you have done for another person that made their day or life better.

It might be a small act like holding the door open for someone or a more significant gesture like donating your time or money to your favorite charity.

Any act of kindness,

Big or small,

Is valid.

Choose one memory to focus your attention on.

For the next couple of minutes,

Let that memory be the sole focus of your mind.

Rejoice in the goodness by replaying the memory in your mind like a movie.

Feel the kindness that the other person received and contemplate how your act of kindness could create a ripple effect in your world.

Take a moment to observe where in your body you can feel this goodness and kindness.

With each exhale,

Allow that sensation to permeate every cell of your body and every corner of your mind.

Just remember it's okay to feel good about your kindness and goodness.

Now begin to transition back to the present moment by bringing your attention back to the breath.

Notice the space around you,

The temperature of the air,

The sensation of the clothing against your skin and the support of the cushion beneath you.

If your eyes were closed,

Gently open them.

I am Gaby Mier Yteran.

Thank you for spreading kindness and for your practice.
