Prepare yourself for meditation.

Today we're going to do a neti neti practice.

So find a comfortable seat,

Adjust your shoulders,

Take some fuller breaths.

Maybe a few big breaths in through the nose and out from the mouth,

Softening on the exhale.

Get your chest softened and the heart open with your breaths.

The shoulders melt all the way down and back.

On the inhalation,

The spine lengthens and the belly softens on the exhale.

As you breathe through the heart space,

You might sense the feeling of me,

The feeling of I.

Just checking if you exist here right now.

How do you know?

Beyond your senses of sight,

Thoughts,

Smells,

What is the center of your being?

Become aware of the pauses between your breaths.

At the top and at the bottom of the breath,

Let there be a short pause.

Letting the breath be the center of your being.

Letting the breath be full.

You're just relaxing,

Arriving before we start neti neti.

And notice the objects that arise in your awareness,

Whatever you're experiencing now.

The sense of touch in your body,

The sounds,

The thoughts,

The feelings,

Everything that's here.

And just inquire,

Are any of those things me?

Ask yourself,

What is I?

And whatever arises,

Say in your mind,

Not that.

Everything that arises is not you,

It's an object known by your awareness.

Everything that arises,

Not that,

Not that,

Not that,

Not that,

Not that,

Clearing away the objects of awareness.

So you're left with whatever's left,

Not that,

Not that,

Not that,

Not that.

What remains?

Not that,

Not that,

Not that.

Whatever arises,

Say not that.

And when that's moved to the side,

What remains?

If a label arises of what remains,

Say not that,

Not that,

Not that,

Until you're left with the direct experience of that which remains.

So instead of reminder of what remains without Meaning as somehow Can beä One more minute here.

.

.

The pause between the breaths is the same as what remains after you say not that.

What am I?

Not that,

Not that.

So what's left?

What am I?

And that will do,

You can remain here,

Breathing through the heart,

Feeling the center of your being.

What am I?

Not that.
