Hello,
Sunshines,
And welcome to this month's healing meditation.
We are doing a meditation to deepen our awareness of our own body.
There was a very clear message that we ignore our bodies,
And I totally do it too sometimes.
But our bodies have so many messages to share with us.
This could be something simple like your tummy grumbling and needing food,
Or your mouth being dry and needing a drink.
It could be that the hair is standing up on the back of your neck and spirit has entered the room.
Or maybe your body has tells or flags that it's trying to tell you something.
Maybe you get a tweak someplace when you are about to do something that you shouldn't do.
Or for me right now,
I have this one where my throat does this weird scratchy thing when I am speaking my truth,
Which goes against some old mindset stuff.
Some brain things that I haven't completely released yet,
And I'm working on it.
So there are lots of different ways that our body is sharing messages with us.
When we have a deeper understanding,
A deeper awareness of our body,
We can be more present in seeing those signs and messages that our body is sharing with us.
The body's goal is always to be in a state of balance.
So when we are out of balance,
There is pain,
We are out of balance,
We are doing something that is hurting our body.
We need to acknowledge what that is,
And bring it back into balance to relieve the pain.
When we are,
You know,
If we hurt our ankle,
We hobble or we favor one side.
Again,
This is our body trying to bring itself back into balance.
When we pay attention,
We see those things.
The body doesn't have some ulterior motive,
It doesn't have its own agenda,
Other than balance.
So it is a beautiful tool that we can use that doesn't get interfered with with our brain,
Hence my scratchy throat thing.
You know,
Or,
Like I said,
Some other agenda.
It is a very true source of information.
And a lot of those signs and messages are simply to take care of ourselves.
But there are so many more when we're paying attention.
Okay.
This meditation is a little journey through the body to deepen your awareness to feel into yourself to just awaken the energies and to acknowledge them.
So get comfortable always,
Always.
With a meditation,
The stiller you can stay,
The more you're going to get from it.
But this one you could honestly do as a moving meditation if you wanted to just bring your awareness to each of those parts as you're listening.
If you can't just listen in stillness.
But of course,
Healing meditations are so much better when you can do them in stillness.
So get comfortable,
Take the time to remove any distractions,
To adjust your position until you can get comfortable and take a position for yourself where you can really acknowledge the energy of the body.
I like laying down but not everybody does.
So if you want to sit up or recline on a chair or on the couch,
That's a great idea as well.
So let's dig in.
Are you ready?
Take another moment to adjust and get comfortable releasing any tension in the body,
Any tightness.
But also releasing the mind.
Trying to clear thoughts.
You can allow them to come up,
We don't have to push them away.
But as they come up,
Just acknowledge them and then let them drift back out again.
Knowing that we can come back to these thoughts at any time if we need to.
You can use the breath as an anchor throughout.
When the mind starts to get distracted or the body wants to to wiggle or adjust,
You can always go to the breath and acknowledge the inhale and the exhale to come back to this place of rhythm and calm.
Come back to this place in the body.
So just acknowledge the natural rhythm of the breath,
The inhale,
And the exhale.
The flow of life.
Then take your awareness all the way down to the soles of the feet to begin.
The bottom of the feet.
The seat of the soul.
It creates connection with the earth.
Feel your roots run deep.
Feel the earth welcome you home.
Feel the soles of the feet.
And feel the energy move upwards.
Take your awareness to your knees.
Our knees guide us forward.
They bend gently to soften the landing of each step.
One step at a time.
Always moving forward forward whenever we can.
Then find your awareness in your hips.
Here you find mobility.
Moving on many paths simultaneously you discover agility.
Agility in your shifts always present and paying attention.
Now feel your root center.
This energy center located in the pelvic floor.
May you feel an inner strength here which guides you to safety.
Creating foundation and security.
Deepen your awareness your root.
Then travel out to your sacral.
This energy center located just below the navel.
Here we deepen the awareness inward to our own needs.
Illuminate your passions and your desires.
Open your heart to what you are craving in this life.
The solar plexus center continuing up above the navel.
This is the seat of your being.
Feel your authenticity.
Know exactly who you are.
Deepen into this feeling here in your sacral your solar plexus center.
Now move into the heart.
Beautiful heart filled with so much love.
Feel your heart center.
Now bring your awareness to your shoulders.
Release the weight here.
Soften deeply into the in-betweens.
To being present and peaceful.
Now take your awareness down your arms to the palms of your hands.
Feel the vibration of your this energy center of giving and receiving.
Feel the vibration of the hive of the collective giving and receiving.
Healing.
Now come back to the throat.
Feel the vibration of your words and the power.
Now take your awareness to your ears.
Listen without filters.
Beyond words.
Listen to the ebb and flow.
To the winds and to the sea.
To the stars high above have so much to say.
Now come to the third eye center.
To this space between the eyebrows.
The center of the head.
Here we look inward.
Be present in how this action feels.
Centered and soulfully connected to the divine.
Now finally take your energy to the top of the head.
To the crown center.
To this place where we connect.
Where the flow of energy channels through the entire being.
From the soles of our feet.
From the soles of our feet to the top of our head.
From the top of our head.
We are all connected.
We are all.
Deepen your awareness of your entire being.
Awareness of your entire.
Now slowly take your awareness outward.
Become completely external and aware of yourself here in this space.
Feel your entire body and wiggle your fingers and toes just to wake yourself back up again.
Slowly but surely coming back.
Hopefully holding on to this deep awareness of your physical body.
And all the messages it has to share.
Maybe it even shared some messages as you moved through that meditation.
This is a wonderful meditation for just getting really present and grounded and connected to yourself.
So come back to it anytime that you are needing energies like that.
