Hello,

Welcome to Free The Fire Meditation.

Today we are going to dive into an FTF meditation,

First by warming up our breath,

Doing some breath holds,

And then transitioning into some diaphragmatic breathing,

And some visualizations,

And that will build our layer of focus as we transition into flow state with a serene selection of songs that we've prepared.

We hope that after building layer of focus,

Transitioning into flow state,

That you achieve freedom,

Mental freedom,

Focus,

Flow,

And freedom.

And I invite you to take a seat wherever you are,

And first feel your body,

And if you feel any tension in your body,

In your hips,

Your knees,

Your back,

Then maybe do a little body warm up,

Some sun salutations,

Some hip opening stretches.

When you are ready after the pause,

Come take a seat.

And as you take a seat,

We will just make sure that our back,

Neck,

And head are aligned nice and straight.

And we will begin by taking three breaths,

Nice and deep,

In through to the nose,

And exhaling like a sigh through the mouth.

Breathing in,

And out.

Breathing in,

Big deep breath.

One last inhale.

With our eyes closed,

We can let go of all the things we are worried about in the past or in the future.

Knowing me in the present moment,

We will close our eyes and begin breathing normally,

In through the nose,

And out through the nose.

And as you breathe in through the nose,

And out through the nose,

You may notice your diaphragm or your abdominal area a little tense,

And you may find it hard to take a deep breath.

And so we will begin with a few moments of breath holds to help open up our diaphragm,

And our chest,

And all the muscles we use in our respiratory system.

And so I invite you to take a nice big deep breath through the nose,

And at the top of your breath when your lungs are filled,

Hold your breath.

As we hold with our lungs filled,

We will notice a tension,

Tension in the diaphragm.

This is perfectly fine.

We will just sit for a moment,

Watching this tension,

Feeling it,

And we can exhale.

And again,

Nice big deep breath in through the nose,

And at the top of our breath we will hold.

And this time as we continue to hold,

I invite you to push out your diaphragm gently down in the base of your abdominal region.

Push it out,

Feel the stretch,

Feel the tension,

And we can exhale through our mouth.

Taking a breath to catch up.

Again a nice big deep breath in through our nose,

And hold.

And as we hold,

Push out the diaphragm slightly,

I invite you to move around a little bit.

Maybe move the shoulders around and back.

Maybe move your head side to side.

And I invite you to be aware of all the tension in the muscles we use to breathe,

The muscles that get tight from sitting,

Being on our phones,

And we can exhale through our mouth.

And one last nice big deep breath in through the nose,

And hold.

And as we hold and push that diaphragm out,

You may even lean back,

Place the weight on your hands behind you,

And really open up that chest,

Diaphragm,

And neck.

Feeling the stretch,

Feeling the tension,

And we can come back to center and exhale through our mouth.

And as we breathe in through our nose,

And out through our nose,

You may find that it's a little bit easier to breathe.

And as we point our focus towards our diaphragm,

You may find that our diaphragm is nice and relaxed.

And we can properly breathe with our belly.

Breathing in as the diaphragm comes out,

And exhaling as we squeeze our diaphragm and our abdominal muscles in.

Watching this process,

Breathing in through our nose as the diaphragm comes out,

And exhaling as the diaphragm comes in.

And as we continue to breathe with our awareness on our diaphragm,

I invite you to visualize a pendulum.

The pendulum swings out as we breathe in through our nose,

And the pendulum swings in as we exhale.

Swinging out as our diaphragm relaxes nice and slowly,

And it swings in towards our spine slowly as we squeeze those abdominal muscles in.

Breathing in through the nose,

And exhaling fully through the mouth.

As the pendulum swings out,

And as the pendulum swings in.

Breathing in with deep focus the pendulum.

Swinging out as we inhale,

And swinging in as we exhale.

Using the muscles in our diaphragm to control our breath.

Breathing in as the pendulum swings out,

And out as the pendulum swings in.

And you may notice that our breath and the pendulum can be used to control our breath.

It can be used as sort of a metronome as we transition and align our breath with the beat of the music.

Intensity of breath follows,

And as we transition to the next song,

We slow our breath down.

Enter a new world,

A new vibe.

And achieve mental freedom.

Grounding our breath in the beat.

I was sceptic. Dit not think this was something I would like but it was really good. I loved the combination of the beat and the breathing. My mind is not often silent. But now it for at least 15 minutes. Thank you. Can you tell me wich music you used. Love to dance to it.
