Welcome to this guided meditation practice for the best moment in life.
Gently place your hands on your lap,
Your neck and back and head extended but not too tight.
With whatever feels most comfortable to you softly close your eyes.
As you settle into yourself pay attention to the movements in your body.
Notice whenever you can invite more stillness and peace into these moments welcome in that breath.
Welcoming more space with every in-breath and letting go of any tension or worry that your body and your mind may be holding on to for the day ahead.
Acknowledge that you are right where you need to be in this very moment.
Becoming in tune with your body and your mind.
So take a moment now to release and to realize that you are here present in this moment.
Taking in the things around you.
Just a simple awareness of where you are.
As you maintain the soft awareness begin to deepen your breath.
Breathe in,
Noticing the air flowing through your nose.
Observing its touch points inside your nose.
Observing the pause,
Its length.
And as you breathe out observe the air flowing back out through your nose or mouth.
Just noticing the sensations of the breath will bring you to a close relationship with this present moment.
The feeling of air coming into your body and then leaving.
When it leaves it carries any tension,
Worry or stress along with it as it no longer belongs within you.
Trust the breath.
Allow the breath to relax you deeper and deeper.
You are becoming soft and more calm in this very moment.
You are right where you are supposed to be.
Just here.
Being with the breath,
With your body,
Your mind and your soul.
Now.
As you follow the rise and the fall of your breath I want you to imagine walking towards a waterfall in an enchanted forest.
You walk gracefully towards the sound of the water,
Taking the time to truly see and feel your surroundings.
You experience a deep connection with all forms of life in the forest and as you walk floating above the forest floor you sense the quality of the air changing.
An electrifying feeling as if the air were charged with energy.
When you walk around a huge tree has a light that suddenly becomes brighter.
You have emerged from the forest and you are now facing the waterfall.
A curtain of white water is now revealed cascading down the series of rocky outcrops into a blue river below.
The mist from the waterfall settles on your skin,
Cooling your body,
Relaxing every muscle,
Igniting your senses.
You sit down gracefully on a large rock directly facing the waterfall and you just gaze at the water's edge.
The energy of the waterfall sends small waves towards the shore and you watch these waves come towards you and then recede in its endless pattern of symmetry,
Rhythmic,
Calming,
Just like the breath.
Inhale slowly and feel the energy of the waterfall transferring into your body.
There is such power and brilliance in the tranquility,
A place of stillness even in the roar of the water.
You are feeling completely relaxed.
Breathe deeply here.
You have all the time you need.
As you continue walking forward,
Let the waterfall directly come onto your head and your neck,
Your shoulders,
Chest and back.
All the tension in your body simply disappears.
You sense how each drop of water is different.
Each drop having traveled a very different path to reach you and connect with you.
And yet the drops of water come together as one flowing stream to form a beautiful waterfall gently massaging your neck and back.
You pause to enjoy one last slow in-breath deep inhale savoring and energized by the feelings that are caused and igniting in your body.
Your body is glowing,
Glowing with happiness and synchronicity.
Your mind is at peace.
Your body is relaxed and your vision is crystal clear.
The birds sing in the trees and the little animals scurry about playfully celebrating the joy of life.
By temporarily transporting yourself to these times and places,
This helps you get your power back over the situation that is causing you stress,
Causing you anxiety,
Causing your mind to race.
Now,
As your mind and your body falls deeper and deeper into relaxation,
If you can,
Bring to mind the best moment that you have had in your life.
Don't overthink it,
Don't overanalyze it,
Allow it to just appear.
Put the intent into your body and see what ignites.
It can be absolutely anything.
And if you can't bring anything into mind,
That's okay.
Just think of a moment that would portray this simple moment,
This special moment,
This magnificent desire.
Allow whatever that flows into your mind to be inviting without any judgment,
Without any pressure.
Just observe.
Allow this moment to come to you.
And as you take a soft,
Gentle breath,
Allow whatever to fall into your body.
And once you have fully invited this moment into the view of your third eye,
Embrace it.
Embrace it fully with all of your five senses.
Absorb all of the emotions that may arise to the surface right now.
Permit them to overflow,
To fill every single inch of your physical body.
You are glowing in joy and bliss.
You are bathing in the depths of happiness and joy as you recall the best moment in your life.
Right here,
Right now,
Take it all in.
Your body is calm,
At peace,
Quiet,
Yet so energized and alive,
Full of gratitude and appreciation for having the best moment in your life stay with you.
Even a little while longer.
As this practice comes to an end,
Slowly allow your attention to expand and notice your entire body.
Wiggle your toes,
Move your head from side to side,
Become aware of your surroundings,
Beginning to softly move your body and re-engage with the activity of your day.
When you are ready,
Gently open your eyes and come back fully alert and awake,
Congratulating yourself for spending some time with your body and your mind and your soul in this way.
Because doing so,
Celebrates you and your energy.
And that's incredible.
