Welcome to this meditation on Ahimsa,
No violence.
When we talk about Ahimsa,
We are referring to the first yama.
The yama are five.
One is Ahimsa,
Asteya,
Satya,
Brahmacharya,
And Parigarya.
They are the five self principles of Patanjali.
And they are part of the Ashtanga system.
So when we start yoga,
We need to be sure that we have these moral principles very grounded on ourselves.
And today we are going to start from the most important,
That is Ahimsa,
No violence.
For this practice I just invite you to sit in any comfortable position.
You can sit on a chair,
On the floor,
Or wherever you need.
And find a position that you can hold for 10-15 minutes.
And let's put one hand on your heart,
One hand on your belly.
Just gently close your eyes.
And start to feel yourself,
Here and now.
Feel the beating of your heart.
Feel the movement of your belly.
And observe them.
Observe how your heart feels now.
The heart.
The seat of the unconditional love.
And feel your belly.
The seat of your inner power,
Your inner strength.
Put your hands now on your knee.
If you didn't do before,
Close your eyes.
Relaxing your shoulder,
Lantern,
Your spine.
Observe your breath,
Travelling through your belly and your heart.
Just maybe notice what is your relationship with your physical body.
Do you like it?
Are you treated?
Do you force it to be different as it is?
Or do you accept it?
Are you judging now yourself?
Breathe in and breathe out in your physical body.
And send love and compassion.
I am beautiful as I am.
I am beautiful as I am.
I am beautiful as I am.
Repeat it in your mind.
I am beautiful as I am.
I don't need to harm my body.
Is it beautiful as it is?
Breathe in and breathe out with your nose.
And feel your belly.
Feel you are breathing love to all the parts of your body.
And send some love in that part of your body that today needs more.
And just become aware about the relationship that you have with the others.
How do you treat them?
Do you accept the others as they are?
Or do you try to change them as you wish that you are?
How you use your word to speak your truth?
Are you violent with your word through the others?
What do you think about the others?
Jealousy,
Envy,
Anger?
Can you breathe in this negativity and let them go with your mouth?
Can you breathe in these thoughts and let them go with your mouth?
Can you breathe in any judgment and let them go with your mouth?
Can you feel empathy and compassion and friendship through all the people around you?
Feel yourself as a ball of light a ball of love Give to yourself love and acceptance and give to the others love and acceptance I am beautiful as I am All the people around me are perfect as they are Everyone is unique You are unique All the people around you are unique That's okay making mistake We are perfect with our imperfection Just accept I am so No violence No violence through yourself,
Through your body No violence in the way you speak in the way you think No violence through the others through the animals No violence in the environment The more we cultivate no violence the more we surrender We are I am Just feel yourself liberated from any form of violence shining forth full of love and compassion and gratitude Put again one hand on your heart,
One hand on your belly Connect your power to the love and the love to your power Use the vessel to create a better world Use your power wisely Use your heart wisely Put your hands in a prayer position close to your heart We are going to sing The divine sound of foam In Il Forum Put your hands close to your third eye for a lowing tose for a lowing world and through your heart for lowing love
