This is a potent visual experience in reverence to the wellspring of creativity within. I hope this practice brings you joy and expands you. When we practice meditation we give ourselves the gift of listening to the Inner Knowing where we may find the notions that allude us in our waking life. I invite you to explore with me today.

Hello there.

Welcome.

My name is Freedom.

If we haven't met,

I'm honored.

So honored.

I'm happy that you're practicing with me.

Today's practice,

Breaking open our imagination with a visualization.

Visualization practice is really potent medicine for the mind.

Oftentimes in our cultures that are more Western,

We learn how to become unimaginative.

We learn to get into a very linear space so that things make sense and so that things have speed.

A lot of our lives become about going up and to the right on the chart.

More people,

More profits,

More activities,

More memories,

More things,

More money.

It's always more.

I'll tell you a secret though.

The secret to having more is doing less.

Time is really your only currency and how you spend it,

What you do with it,

How you save it,

How you invest it.

That is the part of our living practice that makes manifest everything that we desire.

Truly I've seen this.

And so practicing something consistently like meditation is really valuable in this exploration.

Visualizing opens up creative mind.

The creative mind is a tool for transformation.

Let's consider it for a moment.

Your imagination.

If we wanted to create a life that left the bounds of our reality,

We would need to be able to stretch the bounds of our reality.

We make it so complicated or we only allow it for children or people we feel like are more naive than ourselves.

Today in this moment,

In this practice,

We'll just engage with it.

And I'll be here keeping time.

I'll be here keeping pace.

You can just let go and experience the other part of your brain.

And so we'll begin together by finding a place that feels really comfortable.

So you might choose to lie down if you're feeling fatigue.

You might choose to sit up if you'd like a little bit more honor,

Dignity,

Kind of a wakeful feeling in the body.

Once you find a space where that comfort comes in,

You'll know because you'll get an exhalation.

You'll get a solid exhalation.

So often we're holding our breath because we're ready.

We're ready to produce.

In this moment,

We're going to exhale.

We're going to practice letting it happen instead of making it happen.

We're going to do less so that we can find more.

We're going to do less so that we can find more.

Let your eyes start to close.

Let your arms be very heavy.

Find the center of your body as it feels today.

And so the center is where there is the most gravity.

There's the most heaviness.

There's the most ambition.

That's the center.

Set your attention onto that space.

If it's not evidenced right away,

Take your time.

Scan your body.

Take your time.

This is your time.

Finding that place in your body that's holding on to gravity more than the others.

Imagining in that space a wellspring.

A wellspring of your choosing that's filling with cool,

Clear water.

Imagining in this space from which you're breathing a wellspring developing.

And in this wellspring,

There's cool,

Clear water.

Sense this wellspring as yours.

Notice everything about it.

The depth,

The shape,

The colors,

The mood.

Breathing from that space.

Offering a sense of reverence to this wellspring within.

It changes locations.

This wellspring starts to move towards the base of the body,

Towards the pelvis.

You see this wellspring shifting,

Moving and arriving at the base of your pelvis.

Deep inside the body where there are all those memories,

All those felt experiences that gave us all of these opinions.

See this wellspring overflowing and nourishing everything around it.

Notice that this wellspring is a part of something bigger.

It's connected to a landscape and there are trees everywhere.

Notice this wellspring overflowing into this landscape.

Not a flood,

Not a gentle overflow.

Sensing these clean,

Cool waters,

Nourishing everything around it.

Taking a look around,

Budding trees full of life.

Birds are singing,

The sky is clear.

In the distance,

Through the trees,

You notice there's a kindness,

There's a something moving.

As it starts to come out into vision,

Where you can see it,

You start to notice that it's someone that you know.

Give this being a name.

See that they're carrying a piece of paper.

Notice in your pocket there's a pen.

You see them walking towards you with this piece of paper that looks really important.

Give it a sense of importance.

Feel that it's yours,

That it's being returned to you.

Notice who this being is.

As they come closer and closer,

Invite them in to share this wellspring.

See them sitting at the edge.

See yourself go over to join them.

You're sitting,

Gazing over the wellspring.

Notice everything about how you're feeling right now in this peaceful scene with this friend that you may or may not have seen before.

You notice that you hear them talking.

They start talking to you.

They start asking you about that thing that you'd like to see in your life.

They start asking you about that thing that you know that you want more of in your life.

You start to remember all the things that you say you want more of.

Becoming very inspired,

You take the paper as it's offered and you start to write.

See yourself writing down some of these desires.

Feel the pen in your hand as you write on the paper,

The sun on your skin,

The cool water nearby,

And the comfort of this being beside you listening as you write.

Reading whatever comes to mind on the inside.

It might be a word.

It might be a lot.

And set your pen down and look down at your paper.

Reading what you've written.

Read what you've written.

In this quiet space on the inside,

Read that which you have written.

And just take in the information.

No need to think.

No need for opinion.

Just a gentle offering from inner being to you.

What is it that you desire?

And can you see it on this piece of paper?

In this place,

There is no time.

You're ageless.

You're limitless.

What is it that you desire?

See if you can read it on your piece of paper.

Noticing how you feel.

Looking over at this other being,

You get the feeling they're on their way.

They're leaving soon.

Back into the forest behind you.

Offering them gratitude for the paper as you only had the pen.

Thank them.

Wish them well as they retreat back into the forest behind you.

Friendly gazing over your wellspring.

Imagining jumping in.

Imagining jumping into your wellspring.

And swimming all the way to the bottom of the wellspring.

No need for breathing.

The space is limitless.

All the way to the bottom,

You see a chest.

A treasure chest.

There's a slit in the top.

You take your piece of paper and drop it in this mailbox.

This treasure chest.

Feeling it pass through the slot.

Gazing up,

You can see the light through the top of the water.

You can see the light through the top of the water.

As you see this light through the top of the water.

Notice how similar that light is to the light outside of your eyelids.

Coming back to the body,

You start to release the image of your wellspring.

Gently,

Gently remembering the room around you before you left it.

Noticing the light just outside the eyelids and any sounds that are present.

A sense of buoyancy in the center of your chest as you breathe.

Knowing something is happening.

Something is manifesting.

And knowing,

Repeating internally,

I am ready.

I am ready.

I am ready.

Sensing the palms of the hands.

The aliveness in the palms of both hands.

Gentle,

Gentle,

Start to move the fingers.

The eyes are closed.

The fingers move,

The wrists can roll.

Maybe the elbows bend.

And taking the hands to the center of the chest,

Andhra Mudra,

Prayer position,

The palms are touching.

With a breath in,

Your thumbs will rise towards your third eye,

Space between the brows.

Your intuition,

Your space of knowing,

Because you know.

You know.

One more time inside,

I am ready.

Slowly,

Slowly,

Invite the eyes to start opening.

Taking in the room around you.

Maybe a little different than how you left it.

Again,

My name is Freedom.

Thank you so much for sharing your practice with me and Moonbeam Meditation.

And gratitude to you and your practice.

Thank you.

Namaste.

This was more powerful than you could imagine. I saw an old boyfriend from several decades ago I had recently begun to think about and we released our bound energies and parted lovingly. Thank you.
