Hello there Moonbeam,
It's freedom.
I am so happy that you're here.
Welcome to embodiment and our journey through October.
Embodiment is a concept that we apply to the living,
To the being,
That the human can become in the act of human-ing.
And so the way in which we co-create with our body in space,
That is embodiment.
And so when we can learn to walk forward with our whole sensation,
All of our sensory organs,
Especially the heart as we explored in courage,
Noticing the way that it feels and then noticing what that means.
And so the ability to feel is the evidence of your now.
We evidence our now additionally with our breathing.
Because we can't breathe in the past or in the future,
We know that now is as this breath happens.
Everything is in the present tense with embodiment.
The times that we're in,
The epidemic is disembodiment.
This way of disassociation,
Leaving the body space for the safety of the mental space.
This is also why we have so much in the field of mental lacking.
We have a lot of conditions developing around overthinking and overwrought worrying.
There are many things that we can concern ourselves with.
We are however being constantly pulled towards this future.
And if we use our mind to attest to this anchor in the past space,
Then we deny ourselves the gift,
The pleasure and the sensation,
The co-creation and the momentum of now.
And so we'll explore embodiment today.
We'll start with feeling.
And so find yourself in a seated position.
And find yourself in a space where the eyes can close.
You start to turn on your proprioception,
Start to sense where you are in space.
And behind your closed eyes,
Start to take an inventory of your breath.
Noticing where in your body you feel your breath going.
Can you sense your breath as it travels in through the nose and descends towards the depth,
Toward the pelvis.
Not only breathing with the chest,
Start to draw your inhalation further down into the body.
Notice the feeling of that low belly expanding.
And then as you exhale,
Attempting to lengthen the distance from which your breath travels forward.
This practice makes your breath bigger.
This practice starts to charge your awareness.
Notice how you feel.
In this noticing,
Start to scan your body.
And start with the crown of your head.
And start to notice any sensation,
The crown of the head.
Your next exhalation,
Travel down through the forehead,
Behind the eyes.
Traveling down behind the mouth,
Inside the throat,
Towards the collarbones.
Traveling down past the shoulders,
Into the rib case.
Fill your body with your breath.
Notice any and all sensations,
Body space,
Not opinion.
Traveling down further still into the abdomen.
All of your vital organs.
Exhalations take you further,
Descending toward the pelvis.
This space of memory and the history of your whole body.
Your body remembers everything that has ever happened.
In the times that you have disembodied and gone into your mind,
Relied on your thinking for information.
Your body has been there collecting.
These memories,
This information,
This innate intelligence is stored in the pelvis.
Traveling further down through the thighs.
Through the knees.
Through the shins and into the ankles,
Into the feet.
Notice your whole body space and how it's feeling.
Notice your whole body space and how it's feeling.
Try not to attach to an expectation around how you want to feel,
How you have felt.
Any of that.
Stay inside this moment with this breath,
Observing what's happening inside your now.
Inside this infinite,
Limitless,
Co-creative space of pure potential and awareness.
This is you.
Invite yourself in.
Start to listen for the signal of being.
Pay attention to the tone.
Pay attention to images,
Colors,
Memories that start to float through your awareness.
Everything is connected and there are no accidents.
You are perfectly placed inside of your awareness on this day and you will carry this awareness with you,
Feeling as fully as you can.
Embodiment is a big one.
I'd invite you to start practicing daily with this noticing,
How am I feeling?
There is no bias in the body's sensation.
It is very accurate,
It is very honest and it has your best interests at heart.
Explore here as long as you like moonbeam,
Getting closer and closer to the feeling of being on this day.
When you're ready to curate your exit,
Do so gently,
Do so softly,
Mindfully and with sensation.
The last thing will be to open the eyes.
I love you moonbeam,
Enjoy today.
