Welcome to this lucid dreaming practice.
Thank you for joining me.
Today,
We will begin by unwinding our mind and relaxing the body so it can enter into a state of total relaxation from which it will fall asleep restfully.
As you start this lucid dreaming journey,
Place a notebook beside your bed so you can always write down your dreams when you wake up.
This way,
Your mind will begin to recall your sleep journeys more easily,
Training your subconscious memory.
In this session,
We will practice the mild technique which uses intentions and affirmations to exercise and train our minds to enter a lucid dream.
Let's begin gently by settling ourselves down into our beds.
Lay down slowly on your back and take a moment to look at your hands.
Observe them.
Look at your palms and fingers.
Be aware of their form.
Touch your hands and acknowledge their density,
Humidity,
And temperature.
Observe and allow the memory of your hands to integrate consciously within your mind.
Be aware that your mind will perceive them differently than in reality within a dream.
Note this image and feel the sensations so your mind can simply observe the differences present between a dream and everyday life.
Note that you can use any kind of reality check.
Find a constant in your life,
Preferably from your body,
And analyze it as much as you can in your real life.
Get to know it entirely so that your mind can perceive the changes present within a dream and enter this way a more conscious and aware dream state,
A lucid one.
Now cover yourself with a soft and light blanket.
Make sure there is no pressure created by it and place your hands slowly beside you.
Take a last look at the ceiling and on the next breath out,
Close your eyes.
Allow your senses to turn within and observe your body.
Focus and observe where you feel tension within your physical body.
What muscles do you need to relax?
Breathe in through your nose,
Deep into your abdomen.
Breathe out and progressively start to relax your body.
Be aware of each tight muscle and loosen it along with your exhale.
Breathe in,
In,
In,
Gently out.
Relax your toes and feet.
Slowly travel up to your knees and allow them to relax as well,
Along with your thighs.
Loosen up your legs completely.
Let them deepen into the cushions below.
Breathe deep and unwind your hips and abdomen.
Fill your belly with air and as you exhale,
Sense all the gathered tension dissolving out of your body.
Breathe and intend to relax your chest area and neck as well.
Feel all the stressed muscles in your body loosening up completely.
Acknowledge if there is any tightness left on your face.
Be aware that the stress within our minds can always be found on our faces.
Observe yourself.
Breathe and intend to dissolve all the pressure and tension existing here.
Allow your forehead to fully relax and your jaw to loosen up completely.
Notice your eyelids getting heavier and heavier.
Embrace this moment.
Be present.
Observe your mind becoming quieter as your face relaxes even more.
Breathe and become aware of this peaceful state of conscious relaxation.
Surrender your body to it and begin to acknowledge your thoughts.
Become conscious of your overthinking pattern and set the intention to slow it down kindly.
Observe your thoughts traveling in and out of your mind.
Just watch them on their journey without any judgment whatsoever.
Breathe and acknowledge their existence without any kind of attachment.
Allow your breath to help you detach from your thoughts.
Be mindful of your respiration and let your mind slowly unwind by the power of your pure presence.
Breathe in,
In,
Hand out.
Observe the time between each thought.
Embrace it and focus on extending it.
Be present.
Slow down your overthinking mind.
As you are more present within,
Begin to charge your third eye center,
Present between your eyebrows.
Visualize your third eye as a rotating sphere.
Picture it increasing its indigo color and speed with each breath in.
Set the intention to charge this energetic center for the journey you are about to begin.
Breathe in,
And out.
Surrender your physical body to sleep as your awakened mind continues to be present.
With full awareness,
Begin to repeat the following affirmations.
As I fall asleep,
I will enter a lucid dream.
I will be self-aware and conscious inside my dream.
I am able to control my dreams.
Really feel this affirmation within.
Be aware that unconsciously,
By repeating them in your mind,
You are programming commands in your memory that you will recall as you enter your dream.
Repeat these affirmations and allow your body to feel asleep slowly.
Say to your mind,
As I fall asleep,
I will enter a lucid dream.
Be self-aware and conscious inside my dream.
I know I am able to control my dreams.
As your body falls asleep now,
Bring into your mind a known and recent dream you had.
Try and transport yourself into that scene,
But be aware that this time it will have a different ending.
Slowly,
Begin to visualize yourself in this dream.
Start to perceive with clarity each detail you can remember in this scene.
Visualize your dream and try now to look for anything unusual.
Be aware of any character,
Object,
Or location that would give you a hint that this scene is a dream.
Look for something that in real life couldn't exist.
Maybe you can look at your hands in this scene.
Be aware that your fingers and palms will never look the same in a dream.
It is a helpful hint.
Try and work with anything you can.
Observe.
Look for something that doesn't feel real.
If you find it,
Tell yourself clearly,
I am dreaming.
As you become conscious that this is just a dream,
You can do whatever you want in it.
Be aware that this state of induced fantasy dreaming is not really a lucid dream.
It is more like a bridge toward it.
Use it consciously to enter your lucid journey.
Continue to experience your controlled dream.
Try and do whatever you want here.
Fly.
Explore.
Communicate with other characters.
Consciously control this fantasy and allow yourself to fall asleep.
Allow yourself to merge your fantasy with a lucid dream.
Be aware of your conscious mind being captivated by this visualization.
Keep your mind awake here and let your body restfully sleep.
The most important thing is to go to sleep with the intention to enter a lucid dream.
Keep this as your last thought.
Focus on it.
Fill this intention with all your energy.
Tell yourself,
As I fall asleep,
I will enter a lucid dream.
And then just begin your journey for tonight.
My name is Trist.
Thank you for joining me on this lucid journey and I wish you pleasant dreams and a happy new year.
