The Beautiful Controversy Of Jesus

Jesus himself said that he came to bring discord between people. How does that then equate to the love and compassion that He taught? We look at the beauty of the differences of expression that we get to celebrate. The White Robed Monks of St Benedict believe that Jesus never said no to anyone and try to focus on the lessons that Christ came to teach humanity - that of unconditional love.

beautiful talk. i don’t remember ever reading or hearing this section in Luke. it made me think (and i like that). your talk also reminded me of AA, where i’ve been sober 40 years. AA says find a God of your understanding. some call it God, done Gus (great universal spirit), higher power. one gal sees a 15 foot penguin 🤭 and another a unicorn. one friend, her name is Ginger calls god anyone but Ginger. it’s a beautiful thing to watch people seeking something bigger than them and having that spiritual awakening 🙏
