Hi,

And thank you for joining me for this quick intuitive tarot reading.

I'm Fran,

And today's reading is inspired by the waning moon,

Although the message itself is timeless and can apply anytime you're listening to this.

The question we'll be addressing today is,

How can I better support my body and mind in finding true rest?

Now before we get into the reading itself,

I just want you to take a few moments to just centre yourself.

Take a few deep breaths in,

And out,

And in again,

And out.

One more in,

And out.

And now really think about the reading that I'm about to give you.

You can take what makes sense.

If something doesn't really apply to you,

That's okay,

Leave what doesn't.

And then as you go about your day after listening to this,

Inspiration might strike,

You might make sense of something,

And a message might give you that clarity that you didn't have before at the time of reading.

So let's get into it.

The card I've pulled is the Knight of Wands.

The imagery from my card shows the knight atop a broomstick,

Flying around a mountain,

And the mountain has a dragon breathing fire on the top.

I think this is a message that you are kind of at a crossroads here.

When you think about supporting your body and mind,

It's really important that you make a decision when it comes to things like bad habits,

Or negative thoughts,

And how you choose to interact with those.

I think a lot of supporting your body and mind and being able to find that rest is deciding to fly past them,

Deciding not to engage with them.

This is always under your own steam,

So don't be your own worst enemy.

Do things instead that make you feel positive.

So it's all very well saying,

Try and block out negative things,

We all know that's not that easy,

But what you can do is decide to make things fun and enjoyable.

So even when it comes to rest,

It can be practical things,

Like choosing to listen to fun and relaxing audiobooks,

Or pick up a book that you really want to read.

Make the area in which you rest comfy and fun.

Even things like changing up the lighting and creating a nice mood lighting and a nice relaxing atmosphere.

Treat yourself to some new bedding.

Even have things like plushies and teddy bears,

Make it yours,

Make it somewhere that you really love to relax.

Pop some relaxing music on,

And try to avoid things that would disrupt your sleep,

Like doom scrolling,

Or reading scary or worrisome books.

And remember that rest doesn't have to feel like this huge mountain to climb.

If it feels like that,

If we put a lot of pressure on ourselves,

It can feel harder to reach that summit.

So taking small actions to make it easier on yourself,

Maybe come at it a different way,

Be creative in how you're doing that,

Will help you then find true rest.

Sometimes it's about those small actions we take rather than trying to overhaul everything at once that can really make the difference.

I hope that this reading offered you some guidance.

Thank you so much for listening.

And until next time,

Take care and look after yourself.

Great advice! Thank you 🙏 for sharing, I take a cat or two with me to bed ( or rather they decide to join me) and put on a soothing playlist ( they really like my collection of purring cats recordings) , whales 🐋 and plant ðŸŠī music is nice. I have bolsters for my knees and lots of snuggly blankets to curl up in. Sometimes I like to to a sleep yoga Nidra between sleeping ðŸ˜ī.New bedding sounds like a treat! Oh, and aroma therapy. Snuggling into bed now ðŸ˜―ðŸ˜ī🐈‍⎛💕
