Welcome to our gratitude practice.
Please find your asana,
Your comfortable seat,
Feeling grounded,
Lifting the heart,
Sitting up nice and tall,
Tuck your chin in ever so slightly.
And when you're ready,
I invite you to close your eyes and turn the awareness within.
Relax the belly,
Shoulders and the face.
Just take a moment to scan your body mind to notice how you're feeling.
Then bring your awareness to rest at the sacred space of your heart,
Just feeling your physical heart,
Noticing how you feel in the heart space today.
Keeping your awareness at the heart center,
Just deepen the breath into the heart.
Today I invite you to consider what you feel grateful for.
So bring into your heart anyone or anything that you feel grateful for.
It can be something simple like the breeze that's cooling you down,
The feet that you get to walk this earth on.
Perhaps you've had a nice connection with someone today.
Perhaps a gift from a challenge has made itself aware to you.
What are you grateful for?
Let it flow into your heart stream of consciousness style.
Keep relaxing your belly and your face.
If you're finding it challenging to think of what you feel grateful for,
Then I invite you to just say a prayer asking your highest self for guidance,
What you can feel grateful for.
Feeling gratitude for this body,
This mind,
This heart,
This practice.
Really noticing where that feeling of gratitude is living and by bringing your awareness to this part of your body,
See if you can amplify that sensation and send any loving gratitude energy throughout the body,
Mind,
Throughout the arms and the legs and the belly and the face.
As each person or experience or object comes into your mind,
Really bring that vision of that person,
Of that experience into your heart and just say thank you,
Thank you so much for being in my life,
For teaching me,
For helping me grow,
For supporting me.
Really letting your awareness rest on all that you feel grateful for.
Anytime perhaps a difficult thought comes in,
See if you can just be curious about it,
Notice it,
Be curious about it.
See if you can even be grateful for the challenges that are arising.
What are you grateful for?
Enjoying your hands together in prayer at the heart center,
Just letting the mind rest.
He's bathing in this vibration of gratitude and said that gratitude is the highest prayer of all,
It's the most powerful just to help us transform the mind,
Transform any thoughts that aren't serving.
Bringing an intention,
A prayer into our heart to bring more gratitude into our daily lives so that we can really live in santosha,
In contentment,
In a state of loving exactly what is,
Loving exactly who we are.
With gratitude in our hearts I invite you to sing Aum with me with love one time.
Take a nice and deep breath in.
Letting a soft smile wash across your face,
Gently bow to this beautiful heart,
This sacred space that lives within you.
The light in me salutes the light in you and I know that we are one.
Namaste.
