A guided meditation including positive affirmations to help lift you and for to feel more positive within yourself. At just over 17 minutes long, this meditation has been written and given in order to help you feel gratitude, help increase your confidence and self-esteem. I hope you find it helpful. Transcript

Hello and welcome.

This time is for you and for you alone.

Begin to get into a comfortable position for you,

Whether this is sitting upright with your back straight or lying down,

Whichever feels right for you.

If you are seated,

Place your hands in your laps facing upwards.

If you are lying down,

Have your arms by your sides with your palms facing upwards.

When it feels right for you,

Softly close your eyes.

Begin by taking a nice deep cleansing breath in through your nose.

Feel this new air travel down to your stomach and feel your rib cage fully expanding.

When you get a nice full breath into your stomach,

Hold it there for a second and when it feels good to you,

Let it all go and exhale the sigh.

Do this again at the bottom of that last breath.

Breathe a full deep breath in,

Your stomach and rib cage fully expanding and hold the breath for a beat of four.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And then exhale with another sigh.

One more time,

Deeply inhale,

Hold as it feels good for you and then powerfully release with another audible sigh.

Now return to a breath pace that feels good for you and natural for you.

Let your breath be soft and gentle.

Allow yourself to be fully present with the sensation of your breath.

If you find at any time during this meditation that your mind wanders,

Know that this is perfectly okay.

Do not judge yourself,

Be gentle with yourself.

Use your breath as your anchor to ground you in this present moment and use your breath as your guide to bring your awareness back to the here and now.

Focus on your breath to allow your awareness to guide you back to your body and to my words.

As you relax into your body and your breath,

Allow yourself to listen to these affirmations.

Feel them as your truth in every cell and in every space within those cells.

If at any time you hear an affirmation that does not feel true to you,

In your mind add the phrase I am willing to believe in front of the affirmation itself.

Now relax into your body and affirm.

I am kind.

I am capable.

I am cared about.

I am on the highest most loving path for me.

I am surrounded by love.

I am abundant and secure.

I am peaceful.

I am cared for.

I am exactly who I am meant to be.

On your next inhale,

Breathe in extra deep.

Your stomach and your rib cage fully expanding.

Hold your breath at the top,

Letting this feeling build at the top of your breath.

And when you are ready,

Exhale with a powerful and audible sigh.

Return to your natural soft breathing as you continue to affirm to yourself.

I am exactly where I am meant to be.

I am on the right path for me.

I am smart.

I am lovable.

I am talented.

I am proud of myself.

I am doing good things in this world.

I am serene.

I am creative.

I am respected.

I am strong and resilient.

I am radiant.

I am a magnet for money and success.

I am secure in who I am.

I am happy with my life.

I am a good friend and family member.

I am thoughtful.

I am making a difference.

I am loved by myself.

I am on the right path.

I am brave.

I am bold.

I am wonderfully made.

I am comfortable setting boundaries.

I am comfortable in my own skin.

I am comfortable speaking my truth.

I am comfortable being exactly who I am.

I am blessed and fortunate.

And I am so grateful.

On your next inhale,

Breathe in another deep cleansing breath.

Feel your breath travel,

Opening up and expanding your rib cage all the way into your stomach.

Hold your breath here and as it feels right for you,

Let it all go with your exhale with an audible sigh.

When you feel ready,

We're going to start bringing our awareness back to your body.

Come back to yourself.

Come back and focus on the ebb and flow of your breath,

Back to your centre,

To your core.

In your own time,

Become aware of your body,

Become aware of any sounds around you,

Near and in the distance.

Become aware of the support beneath your body once again and notice how you feel.

Touch yourself here with loving kindness and recognise the beautiful,

Unique being that you are.

When you are ready,

Gently open your eyes.
