Hello,

Unique learner!

Great you are listening to this help I cannot meditate meditation.

First of all,

Congrats!

You are taking this time for yourself.

Second,

Remember the only way to do meditation wrong is to not do it.

There is no perfect meditation,

But by taking this time for yourself,

You are already winning.

So let's go on this journey to learn something new today.

Normally a meditation starts with an introducer like,

Find yourself a quiet place to sit still.

What if you can't sit still?

Or it starts with a breathing exercise.

What if those breathing exercises make your head dizzy or bring out some anxiety?

Or do this long body scan for which I don't have time?

Reminds me of a famous saying.

If you don't have time to meditate an hour each day,

You should meditate for two hours.

This was not something I wanted to hear.

I have things to do you know.

But it is true what they say.

Meditation has given me more time,

Because I started to become more efficient,

Relaxed,

So that all I invested in got returned in twofold.

The only way to learn how to meditate is practice.

So find out what suits you on what time.

I also tried different forms of meditation and in the beginning what worked for me was to focus less on breathing and more on visualization meditations and ground my body in different matters.

For the next few minutes,

Give yourself permission to enjoy this relaxing experience.

You are free from all your responsibilities at this time.

So put aside any thought or task or concerns that may be waiting for you.

If you find that your mind wanders during this meditation,

Simply bring back your awareness to the sound of my voice and I will guide you to a place of deep relaxation and inner stillness.

Well,

I will try at least.

Remember that you are always in control and if you wish to stop at any time,

You can do so by simply opening your eyes.

So let go of all your expectations and see what comes naturally to you.

And maybe the next exercise might be for you and if not,

Well,

At least you tried.

So sit,

Lie down,

Whatever is comfortable for you and close your eyes.

Let's do what I call the comforter.

Place your right hand on your left arm and your left hand on your right arm and give yourself a big hug.

People like to be comforted and your body reacts to this movement positively.

First,

Squeeze your left hand on your right arm.

Breathe in through your nose.

Hold it on the top and breathe out slowly through your mouth.

Now squeeze your right hand on your left arm and repeat.

Breathe in through your nose.

Hold it on the top and breathe out slowly through your mouth.

Try to repeat the squeezing and breathing at the same time for the next minute and I hope you watched the time.

Amazing!

And if you mind wandered off about random thoughts like,

I forgot to do that or this is not working.

Put these words in a dustbin.

Breathe in through your nose.

Hold your breath for three seconds at the top and when we breathe out we will shoot this dustbin in the air where it explodes into the stardust.

And breathe out.

Amazing!

You just did a meditation with two techniques,

Breathing and a comforter.

And this is just the beginning.

Thank you for taking this effort.

See you next time.

Happy I did this meditation and was reminded that it is okay not to feel able to meditation or wanting to. That I can use a guided one. And the bedst reminder: That I can hug myself. And I did it. ☺️🙏
