This is a wonderful meditation which helps you to train your mind both consciously and unconsciously. This gives you the capacity to take control of your mind. Decide what you want to change, and take steps to change. This meditation is based on a powerful teaching of Buddha, "The mind is everything. What you think, you become". The steps should be done thoroughly for at least a week or two to see positive changes. Hope you get the best out of it.

I can find everlasting happiness.

I know it.

In the last two paths we went through and we discovered logically that mind is the source of happiness and suffering and not the external world.

Mind is nothing but a non-physical entity made up of moments which gives me the capacity to take control of my next moment.

If you are a newcomer here,

No problem.

But try to listen to the previous paths as well later.

In this meditation we will go forth from there.

We need to change our minds and we have the capacity to do so.

How should we do that?

Take a comfortable meditation posture.

Let your feet be grounded,

Your eyes closed and your back is straight.

Take three deep breaths and settle down your body.

Do a quick scan of your body starting from the top.

Scan your head and see how your hair feels like.

See if there is any tension on your forehead.

Try and release all your tension from there.

With every exhale release the tension from your body.

See how your face is.

Is there any tension around your cheeks,

Your mouth,

Your eyes?

Release it.

Come down to your shoulders and neck and observe how are they feeling.

Do you feel the urge to move them?

Just relax.

With every exhale release your tension and let your body do its own course.

Go down and feel your back and release any tension which is there.

Don't rush through this process.

This process really helps you to make your body calm and ready for the meditation ahead.

Feel the sensation when your hips touches the cushion or the floor.

Just feel the sensation.

Feel your arms now.

Start from your upper arm and go down to your elbow and tilt your fingers.

How you feel it?

Do you feel sensation or you feel calmness?

Let go of everything and let your body adjust.

Feel your legs now starting from your thighs,

Your knees and your feet.

Take a deep breath if you need and let go of all your tensions.

Let me ask you a few questions.

Think about them.

Did you always knew how to walk?

Was it that you were born and you started to walk from that day?

Didn't you experience the entire trouble of crawling,

Hurting your knees,

Your parents or caretaker holding your hands that you were able to even stand up?

Did you always knew that 3 multiplied by 3 gives you 9?

Did you know about your profession?

No,

Right?

We went to school.

The teachers taught us the concept and made us repeat again and again and again.

Did you always knew everything that you know about your profession?

No,

We went to colleges,

Gave exams and then honed our skills for years to reach where we are.

These are some of the things that we did consciously for a reason.

But think about what our minds picked up in these so many years without we even knowing about it.

Have you noticed how we start driving exactly how our parents drive?

Have you noticed how we do the same facial gestures as our friends do?

Have you noticed how we maintain our kitchens exactly the way our mothers used to do?

In fact,

I learnt cooking only by seeing my mother to cook while I used to just talk to her.

Have you noticed how many things we pick up just by seeing again and again and again?

Have you noticed also how we sit and walk like our parents?

How we start to behave good or bad like our siblings?

These are so many things that happen unconsciously to us.

Did you realize that some things happen consciously but so many things happen unconsciously also?

All these unconscious and conscious things happen in our mind.

Buddha called these as imprints and today we need to control our imprints.

I need you to think about a thing which you want to change in your behavior or thinking.

Take a simple thing to start with like I want to be more disciplined,

I want to be more positive,

I want to be more compassionate,

I want to slow down,

I want to smile more often,

I want to be more confident or I want to be less angry.

Think about a change you want in your behavior or thinking.

Tones cities Now I want you to think why do you think this habit is beneficial to you?

How it will help you in your daily life?

Now create a light or a statement for you combining these two things.

I need to do this because it is beneficial for me to gain this.

Think about what you have thought just now.

What is that thing you want to change and why do you think it is beneficial to you?

Create a one light for you in your mind.

Make sure every morning and every night you say this.

Get up every morning with the same thought you just created for yourself and sleep every night with the same thought.

Also think of a trigger point with which it makes you remember this again and again.

Like whenever you drink a glass of water repeat this.

Find that trigger point which will work the best for you.

Trigger points help you to actually trigger both your conscious and your unconscious mind.

At each and every trigger point when you will repeat it,

It will trigger your conscious and your unconscious mind till the time it actually becomes a habit for you.

Take a moment now and remember the lying you have created for yourself.

Remember you need to speak this every morning and every night and whatever trigger points you have chosen.

Try this for a week and see the changes in you.

And remember always the happiness and suffering is coming from your own mind.

You have the capacity to change the mind and now we are trying to do so.

You are trying to do so.

I wish you all the very best.

With your own time remember the lying that you have created for yourself.

Open your eyes and feel the control you have on your mind now.

Thank you for meditating with me.
