So good morning everybody.

Welcome to morning meditation in the flow.

Let's get in the flow and be in the flow of life together.

Thank you for joining.

It's beautiful.

Okay so you know I'm always like looking for the lesson in everything right.

That's just kind of who I am.

I don't know who I got that from my family but I'm always like looking for the lesson you know and I found this quote actually I saw it and I was like oh I've seen this before right it's Lao Tzu and what he says is is that if you are depressed you are living in the past.

If you're anxious you're living in the future right.

If you are at peace you are living in the present.

Now how like perfect is that right.

So with all of this really crazy bizarre energy because of all of it and I feel like it's because of all the planets that are in retrograde right now right.

With all this crazy energy this week has been trying.

Have you guys felt that as well?

For me this week has been just trying emotionally physically you know all of that it's just been trying and you know like nothing's wrong per se right nothing's wrong but I feel like I've been vacillating between depression not full out because I'm not that type of person but not full out depression and not full out anxiety but I'm circling that dream you know and this quote hit me between the eyes because I don't want to live in the past.

Who wants to live in the past and relive all of that junk you know right.

Who wants to live in that but then again who wants to live in the future that hasn't happened yet and that's anxiety right.

So anxiety about living about the future is like ridiculous.

Why would we stress about something that hasn't even happened yet or maybe that we even have the ability to change.

So interesting right that's a really interesting concept.

I prefer to live in the present live in the now and that's peace.

How great is that and you know what we have that capability that ability to choose where we live.

I know someone that whose whole life is about what happened in the past truly their entire life is about what happened in their past and I've never met anybody so sad truly sad not sad from my perspective sad from their perspective they're just sad.

Do we want to go through life like that?

No I want to live in peace I want to live in the now.

That's why I love Ron Doss's quote too.

Be here now.

Just it's like and what's so great about it if you like look at the actual quote it's be period here period now period.

I mean that's so great so so great right and why would we want to stress about the future and I know that's a hard one that's a hard one to not stress about the future because especially right now we don't know what's going on right but there's nothing we can do about it there's truly nothing we can do about it so why are we there?

Fear.

Everything goes back to fear in my world you know in my head when something when I'm anxious or when I'm depressed or when I'm this or when I'm that it goes back to the place of fear.

So let's like work on staying in the place of peace today.

Peace.

Being in the present.

Okay so what I wanted to then also bring up then was our mantra for today and you guys have probably heard me talk about this before but ho pono pono is a Hawaiian sort of prayer right and it's actually designed or or defined I guess I should say it better as a forgiveness and reconciliation practice but it does so much more than that it creates when you do it and there's so much more to it than what I'm about to say you can actually go look it up because it is amazing I should I could do as a matter of fact that maybe I will do like a whole podcast on just ho pono pono because it does so much it clears out all of that depression and and all of that stress and anxiety and it really helps you get present.

It helps you get here now.

Right?

So basically the basic nous is of it is it's four phrases I'm sorry please forgive me thank you I love you and when you use that as a mantra or even not as a mantra even if you use it as just like something that you say over and over again in prayer meditation or just in your daily life it switches things it moves things around for you and I don't have any answers as to really why that happens but it does it changes things it it clears everything out it's that forgiveness forgiveness of you for yourself forgiveness of yourself of others of the universe of the why me syndrome right and it you know the best part of it my should say the best part of it one of my favorite parts of it is thank you because thank you is it's humbling saying thank you to somebody is humbling and it's beautiful and it's it's peaceful so let's get ourselves comfortable today and one I've talked too much I want to get us meditating right okay so let's get ourselves comfortable whether you're laying down or sitting you can have your feet on the floor or be cross-legged whatever is most comfortable because we are the purpose of this whole thing that I do here is so that we can learn how to create our practice and we're never gonna come back if we're not comfortable you don't have to sit straight up with your hands in the mudra you don't you can but you don't have to so let's get ourselves comfortable cross-legged or whatever and let's take a nice long deep deep breath in through your nose and hold it in and release that's my favorite part of my day is breathing out let's do that again breathe in really long and really slow okay breathe in and hold it and breathe out perfect absolutely perfect so the question of the day going back to gratitude what are a couple things three things let's pick three things that you are so grateful for so grateful that it puts a smile on your face what are those three things could be anything from being able to sleep in to the fact that it it might be Friday but it might be Saturday that would be a way to be grateful as well grateful that you're employed grateful for your friends grateful for your friends and now let's kick that up a notch with our mantra for the day I'm sorry please forgive me thank you I love you so let's get ourselves comfortable as we get ready to sit in the silence with our mantra I will keep the time and let's begin I'm sorry please forgive me thank you I love you I'm sorry please forgive me thank you I love you I'm sorry please forgive me thank you I love you you you you you you you you you you you I'm sorry please forgive me thank you I love you I'm sorry please forgive me thank you I love you I'm sorry please forgive me thank you I love you absolutely beautiful start bringing our awareness back to our bodies let's take another nice long deep deep breath in really slow and release absolutely beautiful when you feel comfortable you can open your eyes awesome that was so great today and you know you can say ho'oponopono over and over again to yourself any time of the day and it kind of brings you back to the right here right now so so I wish you peace for the rest of the day namaste everybody thank you so much for joining me I love you all and have a beautiful rest of your day bye bye
