Mediumship - What Is It?

So welcome to episode 12.

And today we are talking about mediumship.

So over the last few months that we have been together on La Vejom podcast,

I have focused on one portion of my work,

Which as an intuitive development expert,

I have shared tools to healing and how we connect with our intuition.

And now we're just going to branch off into another aspect of my work and it's the mediumship part of it.

And so this is the one part of my work that I find that most people are most intrigued with because there's so much mystery and fear and myths that surround mediumship work.

And it really is something that draws a lot of questions when people learn that I'm a medium.

So I always love to educate people on all the facets of my work solely because I absolutely never thought that I would be in this chair in front of this microphone and being privileged to do the work that I do.

I just never saw this coming.

I'm so grateful that I allowed my curiosity and my inner child,

I guess the whimsical child to follow through and become educated and then keep educating myself in this passionate flame,

Never extinguished.

It only is growing when it comes to learning about who we are,

How we work and remembering the soul gifts that we came into this world with.

So as a professional medium,

I sit with guests every day and share communication between the loved ones that have crossed and the guest that is with me.

And one of the things that is such a privilege is because you really are on the front lines of healing.

And often people say,

Wow,

It's like the coolest job ever.

You must have the coolest job.

And without a doubt,

Hands down,

It is a privilege.

And I say that with respect and I say that with all respect for the healing process and for the position that my guest is in when they're in front of me,

Because what most people don't understand that,

Yes,

It is a privilege,

But you are on the front lines of everyone's worst moment,

Day in and day out.

It's not connecting just with the loved one who's crossed over because they have aged.

It is working with the loss of children,

Is working with trauma.

It is working with the things you read about on the news.

Those traumas that we hear about in the world belong to a family line of love and someone wants to communicate.

So it is not about just throwing a Ouija board on the table and being irresponsible or playing this guessing game of,

Oh,

I think this one's behind you.

It is truly when it is done in alignment with source,

It is done with such a respect because it's a sacred connection between souls.

And the mediumship,

You know,

I guess it's the word if I could change the word,

You know,

I'm the girl in the middle and I often share with my guests the way that I work.

It's like I share with them.

I'm a news reporter and I'm on the scene live and I report the news to you as they're giving it to me.

My job is to keep my vibration in alignment so that I can sense,

Feel,

See and communicate what is being communicated to me to be shared with the families.

But education is key and with anything that we do,

It has to be done with,

You know,

A system or a system of knowing how the system works.

And you know,

I always respect the way other mediums work because that is their alignment and that is their energy drawl into whom it is they communicate with.

But for me,

It is truly about being present and aligning myself with guests that want healing and want to learn and want to grow and are being present.

They don't always have to understand it,

But that's my job to teach people about the world that many know little about,

But it's the world we're all going to be eventually presented to.

So I'll take a step back and explain.

So a lot of times when,

You know,

Even myself,

I was an Irish Catholic girl who was scared of everything.

And when I first started my spiritual growth in my endeavor to enlighten myself,

What happened was I started working with angels and angels are our divine partners that we are sent with and they are helping us.

And I like to say,

I'm a soldier on the ground and they're in the aerial view.

And when I have an in tune developed intuition,

Which we all have the ability to have,

It is them guiding me for areas in which I can see,

But my component of trust and my muscle of trust has to be developed so that I can take those steps forward.

So I worked with angels for a good long time and I absolutely am the number one fan of angels because I can see how partnering with them and moving past my fear that I was doing something wrong or that what I was feeling was me making it up.

It opened my whole world up because we have to understand we don't worship angels.

They're messengers.

I have a connection and a faith with God.

Other people choose to use other words,

But angels are messengers of God,

Messengers of source.

So when they come through into our lives,

They see us exactly who we are.

We are divine light spirit beings doing an earth school experience and a physical vessel.

So we are here as independent souls aligning with our own fingerprints in the physical world to live out our experiences to help our souls growth.

And so what happens is that often we're not conditioned to know this.

So we're conditioned in this sheep or this flock mentality where the outside world has a better impression of who we are than the world that's happening within us.

So in this reconditioning,

It was a process of building trust with myself by clearing out the emotional closets by going into the dance with self love and then allowing myself to be present safely and securely enveloped in the light of Archangel Michael,

Who is the shield and protector of us.

And it's understanding that we have free will.

And when we have free will,

What that means is angels and loved ones cross cannot just intervene into our lives because they see us tripping over ourselves.

We actually have to invite the assistance in and then remove ourselves from the way so that we can create an openness without attachment of how it is that our path was designed to be lived.

So I love working with angels.

That is my passion till the end.

I just am obsessed and a fan because I know how much wealth,

Spiritually wealthy I have become not only from my experiences,

But what I've shared with others who've also taken that step forward.

So most people believe that when someone crosses over that they become an angel and they are not an angel.

What they do is they return to spirit.

Here in the physical world,

We have free will,

Free choice.

So when our loved ones cross over,

It is them returning back home and home,

Meaning the afterlife where all of us are created from that same source energy.

We are all divine life.

And when you hear that phrase of oneness on this plane,

It truly coincides with the knowledge of home.

And in this conditioning,

We have forgotten that we have the ability to connect with our intuition.

We have forgotten that we have all the capabilities to continue a communication with the afterlife as soul to soul communication.

So when a soul crosses over,

They are then returning back home and the alliance of other souls created from that same light,

That same oneness,

All on different journeys,

Experiencing different things,

But all created from the same light.

It is in that soul to soul communication that we still hold that possession to be able to do.

What blocks that remembrance is that we're not shown,

We're not taught,

We're actually gone the opposite of what we were created to be.

In the fear myself,

My religion absolutely 100% created fear in me and thinking that this was dark,

That this was harmful,

That this was evil,

That I was doing something that was against God.

And in sitting in,

As the angels called it,

My mediumship bootcamp,

Because when people's loved ones started coming through to me in sessions when I was an angel intuitive,

I was like Scooby Doo and Shaggy.

I got so scared and I was like,

Okay,

Take the shingle down.

I'll do angels,

But I just,

I didn't sign up for this part of it.

So with the comfort of my angels,

They assured me that they would be patient with me and actually bootcamp me into the world of the afterlife so that I then could teach it.

And I can tell you,

I was not a willing student.

I was a literally Scooby Doo and Shaggy as one,

Like as they're running out of the room,

You hear like zoinks and you hear like their feet making that pedaling noise.

That was me constantly.

So when I got out of my own way and I allowed my energy just to open and you know,

I kept affirming to myself that I'm safe and I'm protected,

I'm safe and I'm protected.

And I really fell in love with the mediumship work for the sole reason that I learned how to live in working in the afterlife because the view of our loved ones cross and what they have for us is so magnificent.

And I don't want to wait till I cross over to see that I can live now.

And that's why I want to share this with you.

Not only the ability that you can do this,

But the proper steps in doing it,

Just like anything in any area that we're going to in life to be educated is light.

Light is information,

Darkness is lack of information.

So we're always going to work in the light.

We're always going to work in that space of curiosity.

And I pride myself on the fact that I absolutely am passionate about teaching the proper way to connect in to the afterlife because of the fact you would never drive into a neighborhood that was known to not be a nice neighborhood and go in there at night,

Go in there with money hanging out of your pocket book,

Go in or your wallet hanging out.

You would never leave your car unlocked and leave all of your most valuable possessions in the car visibly unlocked.

Because why?

Because you know that there would be an invasion.

You know that sometimes you are setting yourself up to create a bad scenario and that's one of those things.

So we can't see the invisible realms.

So the mistake that most people make and why fear has become such a thing with the afterlife and thinking,

Oh,

You're talking to ghosts or you're doing this.

No,

I don't.

Because there's so many misconceptions as to what it is.

That is because I held those questions.

So I love the myth busting because of the fact that it is not,

But that does exist,

Right?

So when people use Ouija boards and they just throw them out on the table and guess what?

They're like calling all spirits.

Well basically you've just invited on Facebook or social media open house party at your house no matter who comes,

Right?

So there's different levels to the afterlife and it's not just about wanting to talk to your loved ones.

There's different levels.

So the proper steps enhance the experience to know that number one,

You're talking to the light.

Number two,

That you trust the messaging coming through.

And number three,

That attachments energetically don't host on you attaching a cord.

And I'll explain that in further episodes because I am going to go into this mediumship series to go through the different levels that I have experienced,

But also to help ease people into knowing exactly what the afterlife is because this is a quest for healing right now.

So the work I do with angels is about helping us to heal.

The work that I do with mediumship is all about healing.

Why is that?

Because so many people want a connection with their loved ones,

But they don't understand that in that state of grief,

It is not that the loved ones that they want to communicate with have disappeared or gone off or aren't crossed.

It is that they are like a radio station and our loved ones in the divine are like a solid,

Steady radio station because when they cross,

You are free of the ego.

You are free of free will.

It is just love.

It is the soul's infinite wisdom and knowledge.

So whomever that person was here,

They have had a metamorphosis back into the afterlife,

Returning home and filled with infinite wisdom and filled with knowledge.

And when they share with us,

It is not from who we knew them as here,

It is who they now are and what they want to bring into our worlds to be enhanced.

The myths about grief,

The myths about being disrespectful if we laugh,

Disrespect if we find partners after a partner has passed,

All of those are mental games that the ego and the mind create because we don't know where they are at and we don't know what they think.

Because this is the one thing again that we are all going to experience,

But we really don't have much knowledge on.

So in this mediumship series over the next few weeks,

We're really going to dive into that.

So it's beautiful because when we connect in with our loved ones crossed,

They only have our highest good in their intention.

They don't hold on to grudges.

They don't hold on to anger.

Judgment is a human condition.

It is not a spirit condition.

It is a pre-judgment on pre-perceived life.

One person can believe that I'm a bad person because I'm a medium,

But yet I have absolute light running through my veins.

I have absolute light running through my heart and I'm 100% a good person,

But someone may perceive me as bad because of their view of life.

So good and bad is a variable that exists on the human plane,

Not in the spiritual planes.

We were all created under the light of God and guess what?

He doesn't reject any of his children.

Humanity rejects.

God does not reject us.

It is us that judge ourselves.

It is us that hold ourselves accountable for life crimes that we were meant to grow through.

Experiences help us to evolve,

To thrive,

To grow,

To fill our soul's bank account with more knowledge so that we become an evolved soul.

And all of us are on different levels of life when we are on this physical plane.

You may see someone who keeps repeating the same mistake over and over and over.

Rather than judge them,

Just look at them and send them some love and say,

You know what?

They're a young soul and they're learning through this process.

And I know that to be an old soul,

I had to go through the trauma,

The tribulations and the repeats of experiences.

So let's share some love and where someone's at rather than judgment of where they should be.

So when we are working in the afterlife,

And as I has said that I have learned to live by experiencing what they have shared with me,

They have a number one message and that is the life is meant to be lived,

Not saved.

When we are constantly living in a container of fear,

Of uncertainty,

And it does not mean to be irresponsible,

It means to check in with your intuitive self.

It means to check in and ask yourself,

Why do I say no to everything?

Why am I so afraid of everything?

Why am I not allowing myself to move through this resistance?

What am I so afraid of?

Why is the unknown so out there for me?

So they want to just help us to tune in to our soul station because as I said,

They are this beautiful radio station that they do not change their channel.

But when we are looking to create a communication with the afterlife,

We have to understand that we too are a radio station,

We too are energy.

But what creates obstacles or static is that emotion is what creates the connection and the clarity.

So when someone is in a state of grief,

It's like it almost takes them offline because they're in the state of what next or this panic and not knowing what to do with all these emotions.

It is not uncommon that when someone crosses and family members come in that they're so angry that their loved one went to like a neighbor in a dream and why didn't they come to us?

I'm begging them to come to us.

Well,

Because the person who's grieving is in this state of,

In a sense,

Denial.

Not often do people accept passings right away because,

And it depends on how someone passed,

Right?

So acceptance doesn't mean that we like it,

But acceptance means it is what it is.

And that's not a negative,

It's just what is.

So then we can move ourselves out of the past,

Out fearful thinking of the future and be truly in the middle of our present moment,

Accepting not that we like it,

But this is what the conditions are.

So our loved ones are consistently sending us signs.

They're sending us birds,

Feathers,

Coins,

Songs.

I mean,

They are just like on an island sending out flares to us and waiting for us to catch the signal.

What happens that blocks the signal is that we have attachments.

We have these attachments that we think that this person should send us a quarter on Tuesday,

Put lights flickering on Wednesday.

They don't work for us.

So they are not going to meet us at our demands because they now know the truth of who we are and what they know is that we are all intuitive.

And this intuitive muscle is the muscle that opens up the microphone to angels,

That opens up the microphone to the afterlife.

So when they are not appearing to give you what you want,

It has nothing to do with their ability.

It has to do with they're not going to meet us at what our limited beliefs are because it's just like the angels are trying to raise us up out of a space of grief,

Of pain,

Of fear.

And it doesn't mean we bypass the experience,

But it's often that we're left in this mental movie theater where we are always living in the past and rethinking things that we should have done.

We are afraid of the future because we don't know what the future looks like without that person with us in our life.

They never leave us.

So when the physical vessel is crossing over and they don't use the words death or died with me,

And I can not speak for other mediums,

But with me,

They never will say they died or there was a death because they know that the soul is everlasting and they also know that there is no time.

What they view us as yesterday was a death to us because we don't get that back.

That's why this preciousness of the journey is that we assume we have this hierarchy of,

Well they're an old person so they're going to go first.

This is a young person so they're going to have a nice long life.

We have designed life based off of humanity and completely stepped off the original script of how the universe created us and our presence here on this plane.

So often those preconceived notions of how people should live and what the hierarchy is and who should go and who should stay,

It throws us off when we're experiencing grief because sometimes we just can't wrap our head around things because we don't understand the evolution of soul.

So I have so much information to share because this is so,

I'm so passionate about this because I felt like a whimsical child that was just,

You know,

In Disney and I just kept seeing all these magical things and I'm going to share them with you because they're super awesome.

So let's go into step one,

Right?

I shared like a variable of information and super excited to do so,

But let's start with step one.

So when someone crosses over,

It is their physical vessel that is laid to rest.

That's the memorial.

And what happens is that we have two cords that we come into the world with.

The first cord is our umbilical cord and that brings us from the heavens and into the physical world.

And then our second cord is our soul cord.

So when a soul is crossing and understand that it is not someone's time to cross,

It is not their time to go.

Everyone is predestined with a birth date and end date.

Suicide and different scenarios often can shift that because suicide is the will of the human,

Not the spirit.

So what happens is that they are greeted by extra love on the other side.

They are not cast into purgatory or punishment.

God would never reject a child,

Much less the child that is hurting.

And when someone takes their life,

They are in so much pain,

They can't see the reflection of anyone else other than that internal discomfort,

That internal pain that they carry.

And so they are nurtured like soldiers that have been at a war and then brought back in.

And the same with a lot of times in my work with Addiction Crossing,

And I'm going to be re-releasing my book in the next few months of The Other Side of Addiction,

The Afterlife,

Because this is an epidemic that is ripping through our world and we are losing souls every day to this epidemic.

And there's too much myths and stigness that surround that,

That the families need to know how to heal because now they know what they had control over and what they did not have control over.

So moving right back to where we were.

So when the soul crosses,

It is a return of home to home because what happens is that the cord is dissolved from this earthly experience and then they move into the afterlife.

And often when it is,

And again,

Different scenarios,

They are then greeted by loved ones who have previously crossed.

And a lot of times when that place of in-between is happening,

It is there almost like a hologram of their loved ones is presented to them so that they feel safe.

And then what happens is then they just move on into the light and then they are greeted by the team of angels.

And at that point they understand life.

There is no anger,

Frustration,

Judgment.

What they want for us is to get out of our own way and start getting in to our lives because often they see us creating this checklist that I'm not going to laugh.

I'm not going to have fun.

No one has taught someone how to live without the ones we love.

We are often,

And we do,

We build relationships in the living and we feel like there's this finality when someone crosses because we're not shown how to live without them in our world.

Well,

In soul to soul connection,

It is not the finality of passing what it is.

It's an extension now of love because the love is never extinguished,

It exists between both worlds fluently and it is unconditional love.

When the soul experiences their life review,

It is not judgment day.

It is the day where the imagine a movie screen comes up and they get to walk through all of the successes that they have had in life.

They walk through the moment they learned to walk,

To smell,

To read,

To hold a fork,

To eat,

To ride a bike,

To run,

To move their fingers,

To learn.

We have had so many successful moments in our life that we give no credit to and we go through this experience and we're shown all of these beautiful gifts that we have.

We're not shown where we failed.

We're not shown that,

Oh,

You're a bad person.

We're not shown.

We're shown how to grow through the experience because when we are watching our life review in that neutral seat,

That neutral seat of just love,

We now get to watch how other people perceived us.

Words that might've hurt that we never knew.

Actions because we have our own wounds that created blades in the people around us and hurting them.

That is how we grow on a soul's level.

So when an apology comes through on the afterlife,

My golly,

It is the most sacred apology you will ever get because in life people have an understanding,

But in the end or afterlife,

They have a complete full capacity to feel sense and know exactly what you experienced.

So the apologies from the afterlife are the purest because now they understand fully how you perceived it and how it has created either wounds in you or created insecurities in you or created a lack in you.

They understand that we are emotional,

Physical,

And need support on all those levels.

A lot of times people provide,

But they don't say,

I love you.

So the person,

They may be providing food and money and shelter,

But the person really just needs to know that their loved one is proud of them or that they are enough.

And often that information truly is translated through sessions.

And every one of us has this gift.

Every single one of us has this gift.

We all have this ability.

And over the next few weeks,

I'm going to teach you how to tap into it.

I'm going to be launching a course called mediumship development,

And it's going to be a six week course starting in August.

The doors will open on the 27th for registration.

I'm only taking a limited amount of people because I want to be able to spend that intimate time with everyone and helping them to develop and hone in and trust.

My long-term goal,

I want to teach people to be your own medium.

I don't want you ever to feel like you need to rely on someone else to have that soul to soul conversation with the person you love.

Don't ever create a dependency on someone to be your peace.

You have it in you,

And it's a privilege to me to uncover it with you and support you because you have this inside of you.

I didn't know I had it,

But I invested in the patience and I invested in the wondrous world that was being presented to me.

But I also was very reflective that I lived in fear.

I lived in uncertainty.

And I lived in lack.

I lacked a belief in myself that I wasn't special enough.

I lacked a worth of myself that why would someone like me be able to do this?

So when we cut through that baloney and we really step into our light,

All of it just becomes a very natural,

Organic conversation.
