This is a centering practice designed to manage distress through the use of compassion and equanimity. The practice of equanimity may be challenging, but it is very important. Equanimity and compassion practices are especially helpful when applied to our desire for control. In this practice we will notice the desire to help or fix, send out well wishes of support and nurturance, and let go of the parts of our experience that are not in our control.
