Creating a safe haven to connect with you will deepen the bond and trust of your inner child. Allow yourself to be in a comfortable position,

Either lying down or sitting up.

How does your body feel?

Let your body begin to relax by releasing the areas of tension by breathing into them.

Take slow,

Deep breaths,

And as you exhale,

Let the tension go.

Where is your body feeling tense?

Focus your attention on this area as you take another breath in.

Feel this area relaxing as you breathe out.

Allow your breathing to gradually slow down.

Breathing in slowly and breathing out even slower.

As you do this,

Allow yourself to picture in your mind's eye your inner child.

Can you see her and feel her?

Ask her.

What does her safe place look like?

Allow yourself to picture in your mind's eye this safe place.

What is the first place that comes to your mind?

What type of place did your inner child choose as a safe place?

In this safety haven,

No one can come without your invitation.

In this place of safety,

You and your inner child are always at peace.

Maybe you're in a beautiful garden or in the mountains or in an open field or the beach.

Maybe it's an energy circle.

Enter the place that feels calm,

Safe and serene to both your inner child and yourself.

A place where you feel safe and protected.

Each time you come to this place,

You may develop it and allow it to become more and more beautiful.

Allow yourself to see what is here today.

Imagine the details of your surroundings.

Notice colors,

Sounds,

Smell.

Ask your inner child to create it with you.

You can givebuster highways.

You Now allow yourself to lie down with your inner child in this safest place.

Feel the ground beneath your body.

Notice the gentle earth or energy below warming you.

Imagining the earth cradling you,

Allowing you to relax even more and feel safe during this meditation.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Now as you look towards the sky,

Ask your inner child to observe with you the safe place that you have both created.

Take notice of your surroundings.

As you inhale with her,

Breathe in the safety of your atmosphere and breathe out the fear,

Allowing it to be released and transformed into safety.

Breathing in safety exhaling any fear to be transformed into safety.

Perhaps you would like to build a shelter of some kind,

A cottage,

A cave,

A tent,

A treehouse and if it is already there you may add to it.

Plant flowers,

Maybe a splash of color,

Add special places or rooms to your safe place.

Create anything that you would like.

Now look at your inner child and tell her out loud or through your mind that this is the new safe place where the both of you will meet from now on.

Nothing will ever harm her here.

Here she is safe and protected.

Here she can play without any worries.

Just notice her reaction to your words.

And once again,

Both of you breathing in safety,

Exhaling any fear that may be lingering,

Transforming it into safety,

Inhaling safety,

Exhaling peace,

Inhaling protection,

Exhaling love.

Now thank your inner child for coming in today and meeting you here and creating this new safe heaven for both of you.

Let her know that you will be with her again tomorrow and for the time being she can stay here in her new safe haven and have fun.

As you see your surroundings disappear,

Take a deep breath in and allow yourself to come back into the room as you leave your safe place for now,

Knowing that you can return to it anytime you like.

Inhale deeply,

Exhale through the mouth,

Letting go of the meditation.

One more time,

Inhale deeply,

Exhale through the mouth.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes,

Taking a moment to reawaken completely.

Take a few moments to experience and enjoy your relaxing state.

Your safe place is available to you and your inner child whenever you need to go there.
