Welcome to this mindful awareness meditation.
Take a moment to get comfortable.
This could be seated or lying down,
Whatever works for you.
When you're ready,
Just take a deep slow breath.
And again.
And start to bring awareness to you resting here.
This is not a sleepy state,
This is a very awake and aware state.
Get relaxed and rested at the same time.
Start to bring awareness to sensations in your body.
And if you pick up any tightness or anything that feels constricted,
Just breathe into those areas slowly.
And feel them loosen up.
Now is your time to bring awareness to what is going on here.
This is an important part of self-care and self-love that is often overlooked but can have huge benefits in our life.
So this is your time.
Breathe slowly.
Bring awareness to what is here.
Maybe it is thoughts that are here or that keep visiting you.
Nothing wrong with that.
Just bring awareness to that.
Say to yourself,
Thinking,
Thinking is going on.
Here's a thought and here it goes.
Here's another thought and away it flows.
Maybe it's emotions.
What is your emotional state like right now?
Pure awareness,
Non-judgment,
Slow breathing,
No fear,
Groundedness.
As long as you're breathing slowly and mindfully,
You will always be okay in this moment.
With curiosity and non-judgment,
Which are key of your awareness,
You can start to heal in miraculous ways.
And this is not just a saying.
This is real life stuff.
Just notice how your awareness and also your detachment from emotions and thoughts or any sensations in your body.
Notice how this has made you feel.
Let me guess,
A little bit lighter,
A little bit freer,
A little bit more powerful,
A little bit more of who you truly are.
Because you may be aware that you're not your thoughts,
You're not your emotions and you're not your body and the sensations in your body.
But it's one thing to know that and to know that consciousness is pure awareness.
But it's another thing to really be able to put that into practice and to steer your ship to clearer and calmer waters when thoughts and emotions come that are very turbulent.
It can be useful to call things out and to label them,
To gain space,
To gain inner peace.
So if you have any feeling in you such as a desire or a need that is very tense,
I need this,
I need that or I can't be happy.
Or you have uncontrollable desires in you,
Just call them out.
Oh there's desire.
Oh there's want.
Oh there's fear.
Oh there's my mind being insecure.
This is not who I am,
I am whole,
I am pure consciousness.
But at the same time I am wise enough not to ignore these things because they tell me a lot about what is still there to be healed.
But I don't need to get lost in the waves.
I can become aware of the waves,
The wave of want,
The wave of desire,
The wave of anger,
Countless waves,
But I don't need to identify with them.
Keep breathing slowly and mindfully.
I'm going to give you a few moments here to bring true awareness to what is going on within you.
As you are grounded with your breath and blessed with your non-judgmental awareness that allows you to face anything.
I'm going to give you a few moments here to bring true awareness to what is going on within you.
Keep breathing slowly and mindfully.
You are whole.
You are perfect.
You are healing.
You are loved.
You are worthy of love.
And your goal in situations is to love more and to be more compassionate with others and yourself of course.
Non-judgmental awareness to your body,
To your mind,
To your emotions,
To anything.
You will notice as you practice this more and more,
It is like a muscle that gets stronger and over time you will find that you are calmer,
More peaceful and generally more happy because you no longer get lost in the waves.
This has a positive effect on your life but also on the life of others.
So thank yourself for doing this.
You're an amazing being.
Thank you for meditating with me today.
When you are ready,
Open your eyes but no rush and have a beautiful day.
Much love.
