Welcome to this positive body image meditation.
It is very normal for us not to be happy and content with the way that our body is.
This could be illness or just the way that our body is formed.
This can often be a great source of suffering and a way that we don't accept ourselves or our reality.
It's often in the way of people truly loving themselves.
Because we think about what other people think of us.
We ourselves run to the worst conclusions.
We resist what is happening in our body.
What that does is often it robs us of our happiness.
It robs us of being in the present moment and traps us in the mind.
And it stops us from really listening to what our body is communicating with us.
What is it telling us?
Our body is our vehicle that carries us through life.
In some way,
Although we have become very attached and identified with it,
We are not our body.
We are the non-judgmental awareness that lives in our body.
Take in a deep breath and try to connect with that non-judgmental awareness within you that is also within me and within everyone else.
Just observe.
Just be aware in this moment right now.
Regardless of what we look like,
Regardless of how we feel or what we're going through,
We all have that exact same non-judgmental awareness at our core.
So really tapping into that and seeing because we are all awareness,
Are you able to surrender to your vehicle?
Are you able to let go of the tight grip of identifying with yourself,
With your body and with your pain?
Just a little bit by breathing slowly in this moment and recognizing that you are the non-judgmental awareness,
Meaning you don't judge what is here.
You don't judge how you feel,
You just observe.
You don't judge what you think,
You just observe.
And just think about this.
How real is this image of yourself that you have created?
How real is your pain?
I'm not denying that there is pain and there is suffering because we all go through that and it can be very difficult.
But is that really you?
At the depth of your being,
Is that really you?
Maybe you are a little more powerful,
Calm and whole than you thought.
On the in-breath,
Breathe in wholeness into your body,
That feeling of being whole.
And on the out-breath,
Let go of lack of not being enough.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Do this in your own timing as it feels right for you.
Surrendering to the wholeness that you know you are.
Loving and accepting yourself as you are.
Of course this is a process,
But just tapping into that possibility is already very powerful.
Thank you for doing this with me.
Thank yourself for doing this.
Keep breathing slowly,
Tapping into the wholeness that you are and releasing any feelings of lack and of not being good enough.
You are not a victim.
You are a powerful being that has been blessed with a life on earth.
You are not a victim.
You are in control of your mindset.
You are in control of your health in terms of saving yourself.
Take responsibility for yourself and know that you have a lot of power in your hands to guide life in the direction that you would like.
And the most important step of all is just recognizing that you are not this vehicle.
You're the awareness behind it and that you are whole.
And from there you can take any necessary steps that you need for your healing and for crafting your mindset.
And most importantly recognizing that you are not a victim.
And focus on what you can control.
Focus on what you can control.
And let go and surrender.
Finding peace in your breath.
Knowing that as you go through your life and through your day,
When things get overwhelming and that voice in your head yet again tells you that you're your body and there's so many things wrong with you or maybe even other people tell you that.
Just breathe slowly,
Breathing in the wholeness and letting go the lack.
You are enough.
You are loved.
You are whole.
You are perfect the way that you are.
I am perfect the way that I am.
I love you.
Thank you for sharing this space with me.
Let's take in a couple more deep breaths just to ground ourselves so we can move on to whatever we'll do next in a peaceful manner.
And also just to anchor what we've discovered and explored today.
So let's take in a breath as deep as we can.
And let that go.
And again as deep as we can.
And one more time.
Get ready to open your eyes and come back to the room or wherever you are.
Have a beautiful day.
Much love.
