Welcome to this draw relaxation meditation.
This meditation is designed to bring back balance into your oral facial system.
Things may have come up due to a stressful life and today we will bring balance back into your system.
Start by getting comfortable.
Things may be lying down with the hands resting by the side of you,
With your palms facing downwards.
Start to take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly out through your nose again.
Start to feel how your body starts to relax.
Now the stress of the day slowly starts to wash away.
Or if you're doing this meditation a bit earlier in the day,
Just know that this relaxation is going to prepare you perfectly for anything that is to come.
So just bringing awareness to you lying here,
You being here,
Breathing slowly.
Start to bring non-judgmental awareness to what is going on in your body and mind.
Thoughts may be passing like clouds in the sky.
And if you pick up on any tension in your body,
This might be in your jaw.
Start to slowly breathe into these tensions and start to release them without judgment,
With the power of your breath.
Really tuning in to how much of a powerful being you are.
And know that any tension you've been feeling,
Anything you've been struggling with,
Can never undermine that.
So as we breathe in deeply through the nose,
We welcome healing on the in-breath as it streams into our body from top to toe.
Really feel healing flowing through your jaw.
And when we breathe out,
We release anything that is not serving us.
This could be tensions in our body,
In our jaw,
Or anything that's stuck in our mind that we want to let go of.
So with the in-breath through the nose,
We invite healing.
And with the out-breath,
We release.
I will let you do this in your own time for a little bit.
Now let's focus in on your oral facial system.
Starting to feel the sensations in your face,
How your skin feels,
How your eyes feel,
How your chewing muscles feel.
And knowing that when you breathe in,
You breathe in healing into these areas.
And when you breathe out,
You release what is not serving you,
Tensions or whatever it is.
You are bringing awareness to your jaw and feeling the relaxation that is starting to come about here.
Your lips are loosely closed.
Your jaw is open slightly.
It is relaxed.
You're breathing through your nose slowly and mindfully.
And you're grateful that you're able to take this time for self-love and self-healing.
You are fully here in this present moment with non-judgmental awareness inviting more and more healing into your reality and letting go of things of tension that is not serving you.
Your tongue is effortlessly resting at the palate.
The roof of your mouth.
The tip of your tongue is just behind your front teeth,
Not touching them.
And resting there in such a relaxed fashion.
And you feel how your jaw,
Your face,
Your whole system is relaxed.
With this power and this non-judgmental awareness that you have,
You know that if ever you have tension in the jaw,
You can start to relax.
If you grind your teeth,
If you clench,
You can start to relax.
As your tongue is resting effortlessly at the roof of your mouth.
Let's hold gratitude for everything that our body does to come back into balance.
When it may have been thrown off path by stressful events in our life.
Our body is always seeking to heal itself.
And with our non-judgmental awareness that we cultivate in meditations such as this,
We can help our body heal itself and get out of its way.
And that is a beautiful thing.
So breathing in through your nose slowly.
Now feeling your whole body resting here.
Knowing that going forward,
You're bringing more relaxation into your life.
You're letting go of more and more tension.
And things will work out for you the way that they're supposed to.
Trust your ability to heal.
Trust your ability to release.
You're doing perfect.
And although tensions can resurface and come back again and again,
We can always come back to our breath and our non-judgmental awareness.
Our subconscious is here to help us live our best life.
Really resting here with pure awareness.
Really being in the present moment.
Check in with your jaw.
How is it feeling now?
Is there still any tension that you'd like to let go of?
You can do that now by breathing in balance into your jaw and letting go of any tensions that are ready for you to let go of.
Now slowly bring your awareness back into this room,
Wherever you are.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Thank you for meditating with us today.
All the best from the Kiefer Freund team.
Take care of your smile.
