Welcome to this beautiful moment.
You might be feeling stressed out,
Or maybe you want to learn some techniques to tackle stress head on.
First of all,
Really welcome to this beautiful moment.
And I'm creating this meditation not because I hold any wisdoms that you don't have.
You have just as much wisdom as I do,
Deep down.
I'm creating this meditation because I felt stressed out earlier and I'm using this opportunity to come back to my grounded center and invite you to do the same.
So thank you for being here with me today.
And let's deeply breathe into our belly,
Breathing in through the nose and out through the nose.
Just slowly and deeply starting to ground ourselves in this moment.
You don't need to be anywhere right now.
You don't need to do anything right now.
You're part form just slowly breathing and appreciating this moment.
Sensing your contact with any surfaces you're on.
Bringing awareness to anything you hear around you,
But not following it,
Just awareness of what's going on.
Awareness that if thoughts come,
You just let them go naturally and don't follow them.
This can be about the situation you're stressing out about or just planning what you will do after this meditation.
Just let it drift away naturally without following it and focus on your slow and deep breathing,
Creating the sensation in your belly.
Reconnecting with the beauty and magic of this moment that we completely forget about when we're in a state of stress.
Stress overpowers our system and distracts us and clouds our mind.
True beauty and blessings we have in this moment.
So I invite you to imagine a pond.
You're standing in front of a small pond.
You can imagine whatever you like in this pond.
There could be fish,
There could be plants growing out of the pond,
Could be shallow,
Could be deep.
This is entirely up to you and you will create it beautifully in your mind.
Looking at this pond,
You recognize its healing potential and although you don't know yet how it will heal you,
You know that it holds that potential and that power.
So you're very grateful and you start to feel grounded for being here next to this pond.
Start bringing to mind the main thing you are worried about and if you can't pick a main thing,
Pick the first thing that comes to mind.
Take this thing and look at it closely,
Mindfully,
Without judgment.
Just look at it.
Now take it and place it into the pond,
Release it into the water and see it slowly sinking down away from you and into this water.
It sinks and sinks until it touches the floor and rests there peacefully.
Now bring to mind another thing that stresses you out.
Have a look at it without judgment.
Just see it.
Hold it.
And also place it into the pond.
See it sink down,
Drifting away from you and touching the ground,
The floor of the pond.
Now pick out one more thing.
Observe it with no judgment and feel how much lighter you are already.
Place it into the water and see it sink as well.
Can you sense the power of just having let these three things go into the pond,
Of how much lighter you are already?
This is a very important and powerful act.
Now you get the chance to take out anything else left in your mind that stresses you and observe that.
Knowing that soon you will also place it into the pond,
So any stress is left in your body and mind.
Take them out,
Hold them without judgment and release them into the water.
Truly sensing how good it feels to let go like this.
How powerful you are and how grateful you are for the pond for assisting you in this process.
Suddenly you see the pond opening up and connecting with the sea nearby.
Your worries that were placed at the bottom of this pond flow out in a stream,
Flowing far away into the sea,
Drifting further and further away from you.
The pond has something else to share with you.
As you look at the sun rays reflecting in the water and the beautiful nature around it,
And it asks you if there is anything you can do about the things that are stressing you out.
If yes,
They say you have nothing to worry about because you can act to resolve the situation and there is no point to entertain it in your mind like this.
Of course it knows that you are only human and this is what happens.
It also says that if there is nothing you can do about a situation,
If you can't control it,
Why worry about it?
The importance of practicing acceptance and acting when you can to resolve a situation and then letting go,
Just as you did when you placed these worries into the water.
And life will assist you when you are in this state.
Just as the pond connected to the sea to wash away your problems,
Life will assist you if you are staying in this place of surrender and acceptance and of course,
Gratitude.
Gratitude because every situation,
Even if it seems hard,
Is a blessing and a lesson,
An opportunity to grow,
To get stronger,
To know how to deal with these situations next time,
To show others how to deal with the situation.
To evolve,
To become a better you.
These lessons are necessary even if they seem so painful.
And know that you always have your breath when you breathe slowly and deeply.
It calms down your mind and grounds you in the moment,
Regardless of how stressed you are.
If you can breathe slowly,
If you can practice acceptance,
If you can practice letting go,
You're going to be fine.
I'm going to be fine.
We're all going to be fine.
And let's not be hard on ourselves for getting stressed.
We're trying our best navigating this life,
So we have to be kind to ourselves,
Show ourselves compassion,
Self-compassion and self-love.
