Hello and welcome.
This is ASMR Sleepy Time with Tracy Seawright.
Thank you for joining me on this journey.
So find yourself a comfortable place to be seated or to lie down.
Take a moment to settle.
If you're sitting in a chair,
I invite you to lower the feet down into the earth and adjust your sit bones and create a tall spine.
Bring those shoulders up and back like a waterfall.
Place your hands gently on the thighs.
Close your eyes and soften the face and breathe.
If you're going to have our journey lying down,
I invite you to place a pillow under the head and maybe something under the knees for the invitation to allow yourself to sink down into the yoga mat or to the bed or to the couch.
Invite comfort and invite ease into this session.
Now ASMR is the autonomous sensory meridian response.
And what does that mean?
Well,
It's ascribed the tingling static light or goosebump sensations in response to a specific triggering audio or visual simulation.
But on our journey this evening,
We will listen to sounds.
Now each of these sounds can be anywhere from one minute to three minutes.
All you need to do is relax and let go.
Now in our journey,
We will start with the breath.
So your eyes are closed,
Body softens.
As we inhale deeply through the nose and exhale out the mouth.
After your next exhalation,
Inhale deeply and fully through the nose.
Inside out the mouth.
Let it go.
Breathing in and out the mouth.
Breathe in.
One more time.
And return to your natural breath,
Slow and soft.
It's your own pace and your own rhythm.
So for our journey this evening,
We'll start with the loud and then go soft.
So I invite you in this moment to adjust the volume as I bring in the quartz triangle.
So taking that moment to adjust,
The volume is needed.
As I will begin to strike the triangle now.
And I invite you to follow the sound to silence.
One more time.
And then we explore.
It's late in the evening and you're camping out in the woods.
This time under the campfire.
Feel the warmth of the fire.
As you relax and receive a head massage,
I'll spray some fragrance around the room.
It's your favorite scent.
It reminds you of home.
It reminds you of feeling safe.
And exhale.
Relaxing and letting go.
And adjust your volume slightly as I bring in the tuning fork for the heart chakra.
Take a moment now to lower the volume as I begin to strike the tuning fork now with the invitation to follow the sound.
