This meditation is brought to you by HeartMindTuning.

We are going to have a meditation together with a guided visualization portion to deal with emotional healing needed as a result of current election.

This guided meditation audio is designed to reduce your stress and worry due to the election results.

It is designed to make you reconsider your emotions and choices that might have been reactive.

Election results has caused some emotional unease and divide for our nation.

Our goal is to address this issue and reduce the stress,

Worry and reactive behavior associated with this unease.

We will use positive thoughts and feelings based on the truth to impact your reality.

Let us begin.

To start this practice,

Find a place that's comfortable for you.

You can be sitting or lying down.

The important thing is that you can relax and devote your attention at this moment to your meditation.

Let's begin by taking a couple of deep breaths on your own terms just to bring you into the moment.

I'm pausing here so you can take your time.

Now I explain to you how this particular meditation works.

During this meditation,

With an emphasis on breathing as a tool to calm the mind,

I will explain how election results has caused worry and stress in your mind.

We will then use theta level sounds and your breathing to take you to a relaxed state.

Once your mind is relaxed,

You are able to access the part of brain that enables you to shift your mindset and release your worries.

As with any meditation or practice,

You may need to use this meditation a couple of times to find peace,

Shift your energy and control your stress.

Give yourself time,

Full focus and keep an open mind and heart during this meditation.

Open mind and tendency to shift your energy in your heart are essential.

So take a moment,

Consult your heart and if your intuition is to make a positive change in yourself that benefits you,

People around you,

Your community and your nation,

Then we will proceed with seeking the help of your mind.

I pause here to give you that moment to reflect.

If you are still listening,

It means that your heart is on board with the change you are seeking in your emotions and your mindset.

That is your intention.

Congratulations!

We now proceed to the breathing part to slow down your brain waves.

It is only when your brain waves are slow enough that we are relaxed enough to change our reality.

Let's start by some breathing exercises to slow down your heart rate and allow more oxygen into your bloodstream.

This will induce a relaxing state of mind.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and breathe out through your nose.

Continue breathing while listening to my voice.

Feel the breaths you are taking are getting deeper and deeper.

As they go deeper,

They become slower.

Continue breathing in and out through your nose.

We are going to repeat this for about three minutes.

Let your breath get deeper and deeper every time until I ring the bell.

Let your breath get deeper and deeper every time until I ring the bell.

Let your breath get deeper and deeper every time until I ring the bell.

Let your breath get deeper and deeper every time until I ring the bell.

Let your breath get deeper and deeper every time until I ring the bell.

Let your breath get deeper and deeper every time until I ring the bell.

Let your breath get deeper and deeper every time until I ring the bell.

Now that you are properly relaxed,

You are able to see what causes you stress and use your intuitive mind to find solutions.

Continue to breathe deeply while we switch to a guided visualization.

This guided visualization is designed to help you relieve the worry and anxiety you feel due to election.

I know you are worried about what will happen.

I know you are anxious about the divide between people and in what they believe.

This worry consumes your energy and occupies your mind.

It even makes you act in a different way and you might not feel happy with some of your choices and behavior.

The truth is that election has happened and a certain person has been elected.

Your reality,

Your perceptions,

Your belief cause you to worry.

Remember it is what it is.

Your reality is based on how you perceive the truth.

Based on your unique beliefs,

You have formed an opinion about the people around you.

These opinions might have led you to behave differently towards them.

You might even hold them responsible for the worries caused to you as a result of the election.

While you have your beliefs,

They might not always be true.

It's how you are perceiving the truth,

The lens through which you look at that can cause you having certain emotions.

You want to stop this voice and feel hopeful again.

We will use this part of meditation to deal with your worry.

Worries are a figment of your imagination.

How you feel about this president is real.

However,

Behaving differently towards people around you with opposite viewpoints is not real.

It is not based on truth.

I will show you why and how we can shift these emotions.

Your friend,

Your neighbors,

Your boss are the same people you used to know before this election.

This is the truth that they have not changed as a result of the election.

However,

Your perception,

Your reality towards them has changed.

You have allowed yourself to perceive them differently.

This is your reality and you can shift it.

We will establish a way to imagine and immerse yourself in knowing and loving them as who they are.

We will find a way to disassociate your realities about president from their realities.

The notion that they voted for a certain president so they definitely share the same values is just your reality.

Now that we have established what causes your worries and stress and reactive behavior,

We proceed to using an approach from the German philosopher Nietzsche to shift your mindset.

We know you have some reality in your mindset that causes you certain worries and your behavior.

That reality is your version of truth.

Now let's go through this five-step process.

Step one.

We start by this.

You have several beliefs about this election.

Think of one of them.

I give you an example.

One person believes if a person is rich,

He can make people of a country rich.

Another person believes someone who voted for a misogynist is a misogynist.

Now think about your belief.

Did you find one?

Good.

Step two.

I want you to ask yourself how you feel when you think about this statement.

You might say,

I feel good.

I voted for a person who knows money and I think everybody should celebrate his election.

Or,

You might say,

I don't believe in misogyny so I hate everybody who voted for a president symbolizing misogyny.

Now take a few seconds to think about your feelings.

Step three.

I want you to focus on your actions.

How do you act when you feel this way?

You might not want to speak to your neighbors who are upset at election results and don't feel your joy.

Or,

You might be thinking that I cannot sit in the same room with people who voted for President Trump.

Think about how you act.

Step four.

Now that we have established how you built your reality,

Let's see how we can shift your reality.

In your mind,

Think of a statement that is the opposite of your current belief.

I give you some examples.

The truth is,

If a rich person is elected as a president,

It doesn't mean that this person can make the residents of a country rich.

Or,

The truth is,

Not all the people who voted for the misogynist are misogynists.

Take your time to come up with your own negation statements.

You can use the same method.

The truth is,

And come up with the opposite of your statement.

Finally you're now examining your reality versus truth.

Step five.

Let's focus on how you feel when you thought of your negation statement.

Do you still hate that neighbor,

Boss,

Or friend?

Can you allow yourself to see them in a different light?

At this point,

You have created a choice for yourself.

Choose which feeling is more conducive to your health,

Your stress reduction,

And your being compassionate towards yourself and your fellow human beings.

Perhaps you have decided not to think about his political choice next time you see your boss.

Or perhaps you now have empathy with your neighbor for their choice and can have a more even-minded approach.

Remember,

The choice is yours.

Stress,

Anxiety,

And worry is created based on your personal reality.

And through this guided visualization,

You have shifted your reality to see the truth.

Listen to this guided meditation and visualization however many times needed until you feel at peace with yourself and your choices.

This one was ideal for me. It might not be helpful to some that did not feel great angst and sadness at the election of Trump. I have family and friends that could have used healing meditation on the election of Obama. We all need to heal in our own ways on our own topics. This one is for me. I want to heal on this subject and be a happier, more compassionate and productive human and American

In reading the stronger of the reviews, I decided to listen and experience. In my opinion, the set up of what this meditation is about and the good amount of time used for the relaxation lead-in is more than appropriate. The music was pleasant and calming at the low level of Android phone volume I used, no humming detected. Since it is stated the meditation is to examine ones beliefs/reactions and to reduce anxiety and stress, I feel this is accomplished. That he used strong examples re Trump is yet deeper looking at oneself, beliefs and noticing reaction or response...the ability to be with the duality of this human/spiritual experience on the planet....as the specs of the galaxy and universe we each are. I found the meditation and process useful.
