Hello,

Hello!

I'm Sarah,

Owner of Foved and a wicked low-key goddess of journaling flow,

Here to help you tap into your own unique flow.

So,

Welcome to JournalFlow!

Ananis Nin said,

We write to taste life twice.

I always thought that was a low number.

I write to taste life until I understand it.

Until I feel better.

Until the emotions unravel and show their underside to me.

Until the thoughts stop clanking around in my head,

Like something is wrong with my car,

And I,

I swear,

Everyone can hear the clanking too.

Flow is not just a journaling thing.

You can get into flow at work,

At home,

Anywhere.

Flow is feeling in the zone.

It's feeling seamlessly in the present moment,

Engaged and immersed.

Sometimes time speeds up,

Or sometimes time slows down.

Flow is being alive,

Lit up,

And grounded.

It's akin to a meditation state.

It just has an action attached to it.

JournalFlow helps make it easier for you to find your muscle for flow.

And I believe it is a muscle.

You can find it,

Work it,

Grow it,

Strengthen it.

It can be a little bit fickle,

Especially in our chaotic,

Distraction-filled world.

This practice is not about doing every prompt.

Your brain is a computer that wants to answer all questions asked of it.

You are looking for prompts that deeply resonate.

Not a simple yes,

A deep yes.

Like,

I needed this prompt today.

Journal about that prompt.

Then when you're done,

Tune back in and find your next prompt.

Some people journal about one prompt the whole time,

And that's fine.

Some people journal about a bunch.

If you feel like you're doing it wrong,

You're not.

There will be discomfort.

If you are locked into just writing down every prompt,

I'd encourage you to tap in more deeply and really grab a deep yes prompt.

So,

Let's close our eyes.

Focus on our breathing.

When was the last time you just noticed you were breathing?

And open your eyes when you're ready to write in your journal.

I am grounded.

I am creative.

I am confident.

I am connected.

I am expressive.

I am clear.

I am present.

Give yourself permission to leave it all on the field,

To leave it all on the page right in this moment.

Set an intention to release into this practice with a curiosity to find what you need in it.

I am safe.

I am creative.

I act with intent.

I am love embodied.

I honor myself.

I am divinely connected.

I resonate with an understanding that has no words.

When was the last time you felt like the person you wanted to be?

Who is that person?

Could you make a list of what's your life,

What you wanted it to be,

And a list of where it is right now?

What feelings can't you stop feeling?

Have you given your feelings true breath and space to just be?

What feelings do you need to maybe stop suppressing and just move directly toward?

What would your feelings become if you composted them?

What is in your life right now that you don't want to be in your life right now?

Are there pieces in your life that you can give air to,

Allow them to be lighter within your hands?

What do you need to let go of in your life right now?

Thoughts,

Feelings,

Parts of yourself,

Parts of your life.

What do you need to incinerate before you let go?

What do your thoughts feel like?

Water,

Air,

Earth,

Fire,

Wind?

Can you feel the sensations and messages your body is talking to you in?

Can you feel the power of your own blood through your veins?

Do you feel rooted within this earth in this time with these people?

Can you feel the earth in your hands?

Do you have the patience to allow seeds to grow within your life?

Can you feel the difference between your best self and your favorite self?

How can you use discernment to create a life that you love?

When you see truth,

Do you share it?

Can you feel the difference between your best self and your favorite self?

Can you feel your future self?

Is there a part of you that has never changed,

That feels like it has never changed?

Where is spirit within your being?

Source?

I resonate with an understanding that has no words.

I am divinely connected.

I honor myself.

I am love embodied.

I act with intent.

I am creative.

I am safe.

You are present.

You are clear.

You are expressive.

You are connected.

You are confident.

You are creative.

You are grounded.

Thank you for coming to this little journal flow.

Looking forward to seeing you at class.

Okay,

Love you,

Bye.
