Hello and welcome beautiful one.

My name is Faith Hunter.

I have created this practice with deep care and attention.

The meditation is designed as a sanctuary for those who have experienced any form of emotional or physical abuse and you are on your path to healing.

If you find yourself navigating through the complex emotions and seeking a space of safety and peace,

Inner safety and peace,

This practice aims to support you.

My hope is that it will aid you in finding steadiness and security within yourself,

Helping you to soothe your nervous system and ground you in the present.

Before we soften into this meditation,

It's important to recognize the value of seeking professional help to effectively navigate your healing process.

And trust me,

I've done it.

I've been through the therapy.

So together,

Let's gently explore these moments of calm,

Allowing for healing and connection.

We'll begin by finding a comfortable seated position.

Know that you can also rest on your back.

Just let everything settle.

Feel the earth beneath you.

The eyes can close gently or allow yourself to cast the eyes down as you start to arrive in this moment.

Acknowledge your journey here with compassion as well as kindness.

Take a deep breath in,

Feeling the air as it enters your body.

It fills your lungs and it starts to gently lift your chest.

As you exhale,

Imagine releasing any tension,

Any heaviness you might be carrying.

Continue to breathe lightly in and out of your nose.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Allow your breath to anchor you and support you in feeling a little more relaxed and a little more grounded.

This is your time.

A sacred pause from all that is external and outside.

Now place one hand over your heart and the other hand over your belly.

Feel the warmth of your hands comforting you.

Let it be a reminder of your presence and your divine worth.

Within each inhale,

Draw in peace and stability.

And with each exhale,

Let go of what is no longer serving you.

Feel the rhythm of your heartbeat.

The gentle drumming that accompanies you through every moment of your day.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

I want you to envision yourself in a safe and serene space.

It can be any space that feels quiet,

Peaceful,

And soft.

I want you to notice the colors around you in this space,

The textures and any sounds that contribute to this space of security.

This is your personal sanctuary where you are unconditionally supported,

Loved,

And free.

In this space,

Acknowledge the resilience that has carried you into this moment.

You are held,

Protected,

And loved by your own heart and the earth beneath you.

With each breath,

You feel more anchored as your roots start to grow into the earth,

Connecting into the Divine Mother to hold and cradle you.

If your mind starts to wander or you feel any discomfort,

I want you to gently bring your attention back to your breath and the comforting touch of your hands.

You are safe.

You are secure.

You are loved.

You are safe.

You are secure.

You are loved.

You are safe.

You are secure.

You are loved.

Now slowly begin to bring organic movement back into your body,

Gently awakening.

And when you're ready,

Begin to blink the eyes open.

Feel that sense of calm and steadiness,

Carry it into your day.

Feel it continually in your body.

And remember,

This sanctuary is always here for you,

For it is within your breath and within your heart.

Whenever you need to return to this practice,

Do so.

And allow it to be your inner peace and your place of ease.

Remember,

You are supported,

You are loved,

And you are valued.
