Hey there,

I'm Violet and welcome to your practice for self-compassion.

Practicing self-compassion reduces suffering and pain in life by magnetizing your connection to your very own humanity.

We are often our own worst critics and speak to ourselves in unloving ways and treat ourselves in uncaring ways.

To love and accept ourselves fully,

Even when we fall short and in moments where we do not hold the capacity to radiate the warmth and kindness we would like to,

Is an act of courage and radical self-love.

Practicing self-compassion helps you to accept the full spectrum of your emotions and all that makes you human.

It helps you meet reality as it is and yourself as you are,

Without judgment.

When we can learn to accept ourselves and reality as it really is,

We free ourselves from the suffering caused by our mind's interpretations.

It is in this space of radical acceptance and compassion where positive change occurs.

By being open to all the messy parts that make you you,

You then strengthen your connection to abundance and open yourself up to life and to love.

Now take a deep breath in and close your eyes if you haven't done so already and a slow cleansing breath out.

Settle into your seat and into the present moment.

Breathing into any part of you that is pulling on your attention.

Maybe you are feeling some resistance or tension or some aches in different parts of your body.

Focus your awareness there now and breathe into these spaces.

Slow deep breaths in and slow long breaths out.

Allowing your arms to be heavy,

Your legs to be heavy,

Muscles slowly releasing and relaxing,

Noticing the weight of your body.

Allow your awareness to widen,

Taking in any sounds and sensations around you,

Simply noticing,

Letting go of any judgments on how you want this moment to be and simply being here.

Keeping the exhale longer than the inhale,

Letting go more and more to be here now wherever you are.

If you find yourself drifting,

Gently bring your awareness back to your breath.

Allow it to flow freely,

Nourishing you and filling you with life.

I invite you to repeat the following phrases after me,

Noticing where they land in your body,

Inviting them in and breathing through them.

Even though I don't always put my best foot forward,

I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

Even though sometimes I don't treat myself or others with kindness,

I deeply and completely love and accept myself.

Even though sometimes I don't speak to myself with kindness,

I deeply and completely love and respect myself.

Even though I make mistakes and don't always show up how I want to,

I still deeply and completely love and accept myself.

Taking a nice deep breath in and a cleansing exhale out,

Repeating,

I am okay the way I am.

I am okay the way I am.

I am worthy as I am.

I am worthy as I am.

I am deserving of love and belonging.

I am worthy of love and belonging.

I am worthy of love and belonging.

Just the way I am.

I love myself the way I am because I am okay the way I am.

I am enough the way I am.

And I do my best every day,

The best way I know how.

And for that,

I deeply love and respect myself.

I'm ready to release and let go of any limiting thoughts and past traumas that don't serve me anymore.

I'm ready to release and let go of any limiting thoughts and past traumas that don't serve me anymore.

With every exhale,

I release and let go all that does not serve me because I love and respect myself.

Breathing and letting go of all that does not serve you with every exhale,

You are already worthy of love and belonging.

Tuning into how this moment is for you and continue breathing a slow relaxed breath into anything that comes up,

Any emotions,

Any sensations,

Just breathing into it.

Maybe moving your hand to your heart or your belly,

Feeling the skin on your body and breathing into these messages.

Finding reality where it is and meeting yourself where you are.

Being guided by your breath and being grounded by your breath.

Now bringing your attention back to your body,

Back to where you're sitting right now and maybe bringing some movement to your fingers and your toes,

Maybe shifting your weight to bring some more awareness into this moment,

Into the present moment,

Present space where you are.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.
